wanted to the process of providing loans online to dealers across various locations in USA. The
company already all the application built in the legacy technologies with the limitation that the system
required inputs to be provided manually and could not be exposed as web service. Company wanted
to provide the online loan request facility to its customers using the legacy system using the oracle
service bus and highest security requirement in consideration.

NBTY currently uses AS400 system for the planning recommendations. All the MRP generated
requirements are available as ‘Warning List’. This is reviewed by the buyers on a regular basis to select
the requirement for components to create ‘Purchase Orders’. In the future process, all the
recommendations would come from the Oracle Planning module (VCP) as Planned Orders, Exception
messages. These would be released by the planners to publish the recommendation for Buy items as
Purchase Requisitions, Reschedule of purchase requisitions, Purchase orders.
