Description
The aim of this project is to monitor and control for a liquid petroleum gas
leakage Fire accidence and toxic fumes using different sensors like gas,
smoke and temperature sensors which are simultaneously monitoring in
multi region such as industries, restaurants ,homes etc. this system make use
of two microcontroller which are connected using CAN(Control Area
Network) bus. One of the microcontrollers gets input from the sensors and
continuously monitors them. If these inputs goes beyond the threshold level
it alerts the people at the particular region by activating the alarm which
includes buzzer, LED indicators and simultaneously display the message on
LCD display so that necessary action can be taken.

Description
Use of Adaptive Antenna Array or Smart Antenna for Direction
Finding (DF) of narrow band signal sources has received a
considerable attention. The use of direction of the signal can be
used to locate a node. This kind of estimation is used in wide areas
of applications like In RADAR to locate a target, in Mobile
Communications to locate a node and in other areas. Genetic
algorithm based on Darwin’s evolution theory is used to solve the
Maximum likelihood (ML) problem. In this project we are attempting
to develop a direction finding algorithm (azimuth or elevation only)
using genetic algorithm. And we are also using MUSIC and ESPRIT to
compare the performance.
