2. The properties of a kite are
as follows :

• Two pairs of the adjacent sides are equal,
namely AB = AD and BC = DC .
• One pairs of opposite angles is equal, that

Solution :
Given : d₁= 30 cm and d₂= 59 cm
Question : The area of the kite
Solution : For example,the area of Andi’s kite is A cm², then
A= ½ × d₁ × d₂
A= ½ × 30 cm × 50 cm
So,the area of Andi’s kite is 225 cm².
