GE Godavari Engineering Limited is an ISO 9001 – 2008 certified company situated at peddapur,
medak district is the pioneer in manufacturing balance of power plant equipments Viz, condensing
systems, LP heaters, HP heaters, deaerators, Reactors and other pressure vessels for Power plant,
Cement plant & Sugar plant equipment etc. It was professionally public limited company established in
the year 1981 by well qualified techno-crafts from BHEL. Manufacturing steam generators for solar
power with technical collaboration of German company OHL Group for designing.
Performance Activities:
Designing of Heaters, Surface Condenser & Deaerators as per HEI, IBR, ASME SEC VIII Div.1 &
TEMA.
Designing of tanks as per ASME/API/IS2825 codes.
Steam flow & Feed water flow calculation of Heaters & Condensers.
Selection of velocity based on tube material spec as per code for Heaters & Surface Condenser.
Surface Area Calculation of equipment.
Calculating the No. of tubes, length of tubes, gauge or thickness of tubes for Heaters & SC.

Work Responsibilities:
Preparation of pre-bid queries on the tender specifications received from the consultant/customer.
Preparation of design clarification before basic design.
Preparation of technical deviation and clarification as per the reference projects experience and license
technology of the tender specification.
Basic thermal design of Condensers, HP&LP Heaters, oil Tanks by using ASME, API, HEI, IBR &
TEMA.
Preparation of process and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) for safe and smooth operation of
equipments and plant.
Preparation of technical specification for auxiliary equipments (Brought out components).

3. Estimation of bill of material (B.O.M) and brought out component (B.O.C) as per the basic design and
tender specification.
Cost estimation of equipments within the battery limits based on risks & guarantees.
Techno commercial offer preparation and submission to consultant & customer.
Participating in techno commercial meetings, fulfilling and clarifying the technical aspects to
customers, negotiating the commercial aspects and order finalization.
Preparation of contract data sheet and documents after letter of indent (L.O.I) awarded.
Continuous coordination with the customers from starting of enquiry stage to the end of completion of
project.
Technical discussion with detailed engineering people to optimize the proposals.
