4. Every time I look the dead bee lying all the day on the roof,
it makes me think that it describes “death” itself. It was lying
there for three days or so. It also makes me think that it
was “stillness” itself. I was sad. I felt sad to see the body
lying on the cold roof after all other bees got back to their
home. And it was also very still.
It rained really hard during a night. By morning, it got
clear; the leaves, ground and roofs had been all washed
clean. The dead bee was gone. While other bees are
working busily again, the dead one would have been
washed to the ground through the gutter. It must be lying
still on the ground covered with mud, legs bent, antennae
dropping down. It would be encased there until something
outside like ants try to move it. Even so, that scene is quite
noiseless. It was silent because energetic bee stopped its
motion completely. I felt familiar with that silence.
