is in association with the company’s
CSR initiative Proplanet, a wing
dedicated to making our mother

•There was a great need of shoes for
the people who go for trekking in the
wild.
•They wanted tough and comfortable
shoes that withstand the extremities of
the nature, for a long term use.
•To solve the environmental problem.
SolutionThe shoe was made of
very thick buff leather and
even had leather laces.
The sole was made of
hard rubber. The upper of
the shoe was hand made
and hand stitched. In short
this was a shoe which
could last seasons without
any trouble at all.
After lots of brain
storming sessions these
shoes were launched with

Design brief basically involves the information
that are prerequisite and the questions that arise
during the briefing process.
What does the company do?
Who are the company’s typical customers?
Who are the company’s business competitors?

With the tree as its logo, Woodland resonates with a
passion for the outdoors. Everything from the material
to the method involved in making a Woodland
footwear is directed towards environment
conservation .Like the usage of recycled materials, bio
degradable fabrics, water based adhesives and energy
generated from sun and the wind. Moreover natural
resources like leather, rubber, Woodland cotton are
extensively used in all Woodland footwear.

designers and then it is made on computers for
better visual approach.
•The design is then judged by a set of agents for
the approvals of making it.
•Feedbacks are taken for the betterment of the
design.
•The design is modified and finalized and sent
for the making of the shoe.
The product image is launched in
the internet to know the liking of
the costumers.
Official feedback system is opened
for the product where the officials
talk to the clients face to face.
It checks the interest level of the
public on the product.
Then the product is launched into
the market.
