into smaller cities using MTRS
Business Problem
A leading clothing and footwear retail store
in India, with a huge retail footprint across
metros, wanted to tap into smaller towns to
extend their reach. ​
They had a clear idea about their TG, but
needed information on spread of the TG
across smaller Indian towns to decide
where to set up their stores in a scientific
manner.
How Indicus Helped
Metro, Town and Rural Skyline helped the client
identify the towns with large numbers of their TG
income segment households.
They further studied the income, saving and spend
patterns of their TG households and were able to
draw up reliable conclusions and build a priority list
of towns they could enter.
They then took up on-ground assessment of
availability of land and real estate prices and quickly
shortlisted towns that where viable on costs.
