4. Status about CTEV cases in
Haryana…
It is estimated that in Haryana, around 49
thousand live birth conducted every month.
(Data taken from Child Health
Division, O/o NRHM)
According to this, around 98 CTEV Cases
should be registered every month. (Appx.1
cases every 500 live birth)
As per the report taken from the
orthopaedic surgeons, who have attended
the 1st seminar, 46 cases registered in the
month of May’13 and in the month of
June’13 34 cases were registered.

8. EXPECTIONS: -
Our only concern is that all the CTEV cases should
be registered or treated and report of them should
be submitted to SIHFW (principalsihfw@gmail.com)
on monthly basis in the prescribed format.
OBSERVATIONS AFTER TWO SEMINARS: -
All the orthopaedic surgeons, are not reporting the
CTEV cases.
It is also to mention that in district Fatehabad,
Panipat and Palwal no orthopaedic surgeon have
been placed, so the CTEV cases of these three
districts will report in the neighboring districts, and
there no. of CTEV cases will increase.

11. Problems mentioned by Orthopaedic
Surgeons, who have attended the
seminar…
Many of them have still not received the
TA/DA for attending the seminar on 17th
March’13 (Dr. Pankaj Aggarwal, Narnaul, now
transferred to Gurgaon).
Some of them are facing problems in sending
the report through e-mail, as all of them are
not computer friendly and they need technical
help. Dy.CS(CB&T) or Dy. CS (IBSY/SHP)
can provide them such help for this.
12. Lets joint our efforts and try to bring
smile to those children's and their
parents, who are suffering from
clubfoot……….
Our small effort can change their life
for ever
