4. DIBIP data collection and elaboration description
Creation of different mass spectra library (ex. 2 libraries: controls and patients).
The mass spectra are inserted in the correct library to create an effective database (to
be enlarged by further insertion of other spectra).
Each mass spectrum represents the entire plasma peptide & metabolite profile of a
person. (*, or an other biological fluid)
An unknown sample is directly compared with each single profile of the database and it is
automatically allocated in one or in the other library by similarity.

UNKNOWN SAMPLE
The whole plasma metabolite profile of an unknown sample is directly
compared with each MS spectrum of both libraries and classified by similarity.
