24. SHOP FABRICATION FACILITY
Our 80,000 s.f. fabrication shop, outfitted with
state of the art equipment, is staffed with
qualified welders, highly experienced in
performing under the most stringent
requirements of ASME code and radiographic
inspection for carbon and stainless steel, as well
as many of the alloy metals. Prefabricated work
is carefully planned and detailed by our
engineers and coordinated with the field to meet
onsite conditions, resulting in important savings
of time and often cost.
Our Code Stamp capabilities in ASME code work
consists of the U, S & R stamps. This makes us
one of a very few contractors in the southeast to
hold multiple ASME codes.

25. SHOP FABRICATION FACILITY (continued)
Our pipe fabrication division is geared toward the furtherance of our construction and mechanical division.
We have the capacity and the equipment to handle any size pipe spools that our customers require. We also
have fifteen acres of land for material inventory and/ or room to expand our services. Currently, we produce
1200 large spool pieces a month. We pride ourselves on being able to offer the industry welds being made at
rate of one (1) diameter inch per minute. With our large bays and 4 cranes with 10 ton crane capacity each
gives our shop the ability to fabricate large quantities of pipes, skids or complete modules.
Our engineering division can produce shop spool drawings from our customer‟s orthographic or isometric
drawings or they may be supplied by our clients.
Quality control begins with our shop personnel with visual inspection and progresses through supervision,
authorized inspector, hydrostatic test and x-ray. Any special testing required can be obtained through third
party non-interest groups. Separation of common and exotic metals is controlled by isolation and separate
bay area techniques. Passivation of stainless welds is available if required.

SIMMCO was contracted to demo their existing Power Plant. The unit was taken out of service, dismantled
and separated per the clients instructions. The unit stack was trucked to the US border for final delivery to a
client in Venezuela and the balance of the plant was sent to a client in Hobbs New Mexico.
