Our goal is to improve community disaster resilience by entraining skills and behaviors that are fundamental to effective crisis leadership. (OK, that was an editorial "we." I hope that is a temporary condition.) At present, my focus is on developing a conceptual understanding of spontaneous leadership in the improvised response to disaster.
