16. Inbound/oubound Logistics : incoming/shipping gates requirements Method Using the E-BOM-PDM structure with the packaging specifications, the volume of productions, the supply chain constraints and the logistic infrastructures, it is possible to compute the quantity of gates, the handling equipments, and the working force (indirect) that are necessary.
17. Inbound Logistics : warehouse management Method Using the E-BOM-PDM structure and the slow/fast moving classes for every parts, that depend from the minimum quantity of storage per day, it’ s possible to simulate the storage and picking material flows FIFO cycles. In this way it is possible to calculate the right requirements of warehouse facilities and handling equipments as well. Thanks to the inventory management practices it is possible monitoring the working capital simulator.
18. Product Data Management: input and output E-BOM Assembly cycles Suppliers Packaging Flows and distances (from layout) Product Data Management Warehouse and related equipments Plan for every part (PFEP) for supply chain / purchasing Just In Time supplying for production lines Material flows and handling equipments Support to other functions (manufacturing, assembly and machining methods, etc.)
19. Supply Lines analysis Method It is possible to simulate the flow of materials that are necessary for the supply of the production lines following the World Class Manufacturing Standards, reducing the narrows, the wip, optimizing the value stream map (ASME flows chart), and the warehouse rotation class. The best practices of the lines supply as the electronic Kanban and the JIS will be studied and applied following the customers requirements.
20. Packaging Method Rough and Buy parts packaging Using the best practices of the most important worldwide engine makers, for every parts it is possible to propose the tradeoff of costs and quality (returnable or throwaway, etc.) Internal and finished product packaging Considering the geometry and the ergonomic constraints of every parts, it is possible to determine the best solutions. Our concept study will be used for the Request For Quotation.
