This document describes an electric vehicle power system that uses an inverter assembly to convert between direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC). The key components are: 1) A high voltage battery that provides 201.6V DC power to the inverter assembly. 2) An inverter that converts the 201.6V DC to 201.6V AC or 500V AC power depending on the voltage required by the electric motors or to charge the motors to generate power. 3) An intelligent power module and IGBT transistors that control the inverter and voltage boosting system to efficiently manage power flow between the battery and motors.
