Tracy Wolfson is a sideline reporter for NFL games on CBS. She started as the lead college football sideline reporter and was named to her current NFL role in 2014. Wolfson has had to adapt to the new environment and challenges of interviewing NFL coaches and players with limited access. She is pleased that CBS reinstated sideline reporters for NFL games. Wolfson has overcome obstacles as a female sports reporter and landed reporting jobs by proving herself in difficult situations. She balances her demanding career with family life and three young sons by planning around the football season.
The document discusses the various media technologies used during the construction, research, planning and evaluation stages of a project. Edublogs was used to present work in an organized manner. Google Chrome was used for research on various topics. YouTube provided inspiration from music videos and allowed audience feedback. Vimeo and Slideshare allowed uploading and sharing of work. Prezi, Emaze and Slideshare created professional presentations. Garage Band was used for music composition. Premiere Pro edited footage and added effects. Fireworks created ancillary tasks. The conclusion states these technologies helped make the research, planning, construction and evaluation more professional.
This document discusses facial paralysis, its causes, Bell's palsy, and treatment. It states that the most common cause of facial paralysis is Bell's palsy, which accounts for 60-70% of cases. Bell's palsy is an idiopathic, acute-onset paralysis or weakness of the facial nerve. It can be caused by viral infections like herpes simplex. Diagnosis involves clinical examination, laboratory tests, and electrophysiology tests. Treatment includes steroids, antivirals, physiotherapy, and in rare cases nerve decompression surgery. The prognosis is generally good, with 85-90% of patients recovering fully and 10-15% having some lingering effects.

The document discusses the progress made in supporting women's enterprise in Europe over time. It starts by asking where efforts started, where things are now, and how progress was made. It then describes starting with limited support for women superwomen and developing a comprehensive women's enterprise support service capable of being replicated worldwide. Key partners in several European countries worked together over 5 years using methods like training, mentoring, and resource sharing to help over 200 women entrepreneurs. The efforts made a difference by creating training resources, a quality standard blueprint, and access to finance networks for women internationally. The future impact could expand further through growing the Women's Economy Network to more countries.

This document describes the video editing process of adding fades and transitions between clips and the soundtrack. The editor used point fades on the intro clip and copied those attributes to other clips for efficiency. An exponential fade transition was used to merge parts of the soundtrack so the chorus would play during a question and answer section. Fades and volume adjustments were also added to the soundtrack to avoid abrupt cuts and not interfere with interview audio. The clips were split into sections for each question and answer with blank space left to add cutaway clips.
This document discusses community currencies and their impact in four key areas: higher quality public services through co-production, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, increasing social inclusion and individual wellbeing, and changing environmental behaviors. It provides examples of how community currencies have allowed elderly residents to get assistance to run errands, helped those with dyslexia gain confidence, kept money circulating within local independent businesses, and provided work for cleaners during low seasons.

Funders and institutions want structured, accurate, and granular data from publishers, while authors want to focus on their research with minimal administrative overhead. This creates conflicting demands. Publishers are under pressure to provide more clean data to funders while keeping author burdens low. Effective contributor role tagging could provide benefits but raises technological, operational, and economic questions around defining and applying the taxonomy, and integrating it into publishing workflows and systems.
The document describes a machine learning approach for language identification, named entity recognition, and transliteration on query words. It discusses:
1) Using supervised machine learning classifiers like random forest, decision trees, and SVMs along with contextual, character n-gram, and gazetteer features for language identification of Hindi-English and Bangla-English words.
2) Applying an IOB tagging scheme and features like character n-grams, context words, and typographic properties for named entity recognition and classification.
3) A statistical machine transliteration model that segments, aligns, and maps source and target language transliteration units based on context and probabilities learned from parallel training data.

1) Families play an important role in recovery by communicating, listening, affirming support, and holding their loved one accountable through changed behavior rather than empty promises.
2) Unhealthy family rules include rigid control, silencing emotions, isolation, and denial, while healthy families admit problems, share humor and activities, and have clear expectations and responsibilities.
3) Addiction is a chronic brain disease that requires addressing biological, psychological, social, and spiritual needs through abstinence, healthy coping skills, social support systems, and meaning/purpose.
