Crafting the essay also requires navigating personal views while maintaining objectivity, and logically organizing complex ideas into a clear structure. In conclusion, defining happiness demands a deep analysis of perspectives from various fields and cultures, as well as skill in synthesizing information and presenting ideas coherently.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

3. Who Is Elie Wiesel Dehumanized In The Book Night
Elie Wiesel is a Jewish teenager. He leads a very religious life until he, and thousands of other
Jews are placed into concentration camps. Throughout his book, Night, we learn about the
struggles in the concentration camp. They are forced to do hard labor, sleep in freezing
temperatures, and eat very little while being subject to watching hundreds die every day for no
reason other than their faith. They were being dehumanized. Elie has had to witness things that
somebody his age should never have to deal with and this affects him deeply and breaks his will
to live. Elie has witnessed the death of many people. He s seen people starved, burn to death, be
poisoned and it s changed him. Elie even had to watch a 13 year old boy, just 2 years younger
than him, be hanged: Then the march past began. The two adults were no longer alive. Their
tongues hung swollen, blue tinged. But the third rope was still moving; being so light that the
child was still alive... (Wiesel 64). Elie and thousands of other Jews were forced to witness the
brutal deaths of their friends, their neighbors, their family. No... Show more content on

Today this is a little paradise (Wiesel 69 70). The more seasoned prisoners consider Buna a
paradise compared to before. How could a place that still brings so much death be a paradise. The
Nazi s have treated them less than humans, making them starve and freeze, slowly killing them
which is the ultimate torture. Paradise, as the two prisoners say, is their killer. How could the
Nazis inflict so much pain without remorse. I don t know how Elie could ever trust God again
after seeing death so much and without the dignity that a human deserves and I don t blame him for

6. The Airport Security Of Aviation
Charlotte s International Airport is currently ranked as the fifth busiest airport in the USA
in terms of the takeoffs as well as landings. The airport improved in ranking by one spot in both
international and national rankings recording with an average of 544,944 takeoffs and landings in
2015. Charlotte airport witnessed approximately 44.9 million travellers in the year 2015, a record
of an increase by 1 percent. Most passengers using airplane tend to use the airport to switch from
one plane to another with approximately around 80 percent of the airport s passengers
connecting and reconnecting with friends and families.
The current rise in the market demand for aviation services around the world demands
analysis of airport demand among passengers regarding the current capacity of the airports.
Therefore, it is through proper planning of future and current airport amenities that the airports
will provide adequate strengths to support the growing demand for the services of aviation
(Paylor, 2015). The future of aviation is, therefore, oblique considering the evolution of
upcoming airport facilities and infrastructure, which are factors, deliberated when defining
airport s facility requirements.

7. Religious Tolerance In Chaim Potock s The Chosen
Religious Tolerance in The Chosen Religious tolerance, one of the major topics of the world
today, rarely shows itself honestly. Yet, what is religious tolerance and what qualities does it
display? Honestly, Religious tolerance means holding true to one s own beliefs, while tolerating
others beliefs. Perfectly demonstrated religious tolerance does not mean agreeing with someone s
views, but instead tolerating them, if it causes no hurt toward others. Acting intolerantly of another
ideas does not include speaking about one s own ideas, but instead of hating and persecuting
others because of their ideas. Beautifully is religious tolerance demonstrated by the characters of
Chaim Potock s classic, The Chosen. The Characters who demonstrate religious tolerance include
David Malter, Reb Saunders, and Reuven Malter. Firstly, David Malter, the father of Reuven
Malter, beautifully demonstrates religious tolerance. David is a rabbi, a teacher, a zealous Zionist.
Zionism is the belief that the Jews should rebuild Jerusalem to create a Jewish state. However,
many Jews such as Reb Saunders hate Zionism and slander Zionists like David. Courteously, David

9. Was Socrates Wise
Was Socrates Wise?
Webster defines wise as: (1) having or showing good judgment; (2) informed; (3) learned; (4)
shrewd or cunning. In my opinion, Socrates was wise in all aspects of the word. If I were placed
in his position and were to make the same decisions, I would not consider myself wise. I would
consider myself to be a great fool, but given the circumstances and the parties involved I believe
that Socrates made proper decisions in his defense. Socrates knew that the jury was prejudiced
against him from the start and addressed it immediately. In his opening statement, of the
prosecutors he stated, but of their many falsehoods, the one which astonished me most was when
they said that I was a clever speaker, and that you ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He did not feel that he was even slightly wise let alone the wisest man. He tried to prove the
oracle wrong by examining reputedly wise men and he realized that they thought that they knew
things that they did not and this made them unwise. It was after these encounters that Socrates
realized that the oracle meant that human wisdom is worth little or nothing. (19) It was this
realization that made Socrates wise. Socrates knew that he would be convicted and sentenced to
death, so his speech on death was not foolish. He was just addressing the inevitable. He says that
a man of any worth does not think of life and death or of anything except whether he is acting as
a good or bad man. Socrates does not fear death, for no one knows whether death may not be the
greatest good that can happen to man. But men fear it as if they knew quite well that it was the
greatest of evils. (24) Socrates was borderline foolish when he discussed his political career and
how he was ill suited for it because was just and made his decisions accordingly. This was a thinly
veiled allusion to the
moral character of the politicians of Greece, which must have been insulting and would not help
acquit him. After Socrates was found guilty, he accepted the death penaltyby insulting the jury
again. He proposed that, instead of the death penalty, he should receive a public maintenance in the
Prytaneum. (29) Today, that would be

the film, we see Jess challenge expectations and find a balance between her two worlds. Both
Jules and Jess families did not initially approve of their daughters playing football. They
considered it a man s sport. They assume girls should be interested in traditionally feminine

Acknowledge the problem. I remember an exchange between two board members. One member
was frustrated with the direction the organization was taking. He told the other, Just don t worry
about it. It isn t that important. Keep in mind what appears to be a small issue to you can be a
major issue with another. Acknowledging the frustration and concerns is an important step in
resolving the conflict. Honesty and clear communication play an important role in the resolution
process. Acquaint yourself with what s happening and be open about the problem. Let individuals
express their feelings. Some feelings of anger and/or hurt usually accompany conflict situations.
Before any kind of problem solving can take place, these emotions should be expressed and
acknowledged.
Establish guidelines. Before conducting a formal meeting between individuals, get both parties to
agree to a few meeting guidelines. Ask them to express themselves calmly as unemotionally as
possible. Have them agree to attempt to understand each other s perspective. Tell them if they
violate the guidelines the meeting will come to an end.
Be patient and take your time. Take time to evaluate all information. A too quick decision does
more harm than good when it turns out to be the wrong decision and further alienating the

15. Analysis Of The Glass Castle By Jeannette Walls
As frigid snow frosts the sun licked ice, a glacial wind howls against the trees. As a child, one
would sip hot chocolate and watch a movie with their family. However, Jeannette Walls would be
sitting on a dirty floor, cold with no food. In The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls, it is revealed that
as Jeannette grew up, she endured hardships inflicted upon her by her own parents. However, if
Jeannette had not gone through these things, she never would have gained the characteristics that
she values present day. Although Jeannette Walls faced destitution and endured anguish during her
childhood, these obstacles formed her into a self reliant woman who proves that just because she
did not have as much money as other families, she can still achieve success in her life.
Throughout her life, starting from childhood, Jeannette Walls suffered through multiple hardships
that could lead her away from a successful adult life. Since she was young, her parents put her
through things that a child should never be exposed to, which could lead her to make these same
mistakes as she grew older. For example, her father was an alcoholic, and from this many problems
sprouted. Furthermore, her mother never wanted to be tied down, and loathed the idea of family
life, as she did not want the responsibility of raising a family. Rose Mary was depicted as self
centered in the novel, and did not think of her children, as she only thought of her own needs. This
can be shown when she keeps the diamond ring her children found for herself. Instead of thinking
of her starving children, she states that, self esteem is even more vital than food (Walls 186). In this
moment, Rose Mary shows that she is not thinking of her children and what they need to survive,
but only cares about herself and what she has. Under these circumstances, any other parent would
use the ring to buy food for their children, but instead she shows her inconsiderate nature by
keeping the ring for herself. Another example of an event that could scar Jeannette far into her life
would be when her father brought her to a bar and allowed a strange drunk man to take Jeannette to
his apartment. When she told her father that she had almost been raped, he does not listen to

Do we really love animals?
The truth behind animal research and testing
Animal research and testing has been a huge controversial topic in the U.S. For many years, lots of
organizations like PETA have created movements to eliminate this completely but without very
much success. Personally, I can t find any positives to animal research and testing but the majority
of the U.S population does since animals are used in most major companies and research projects
performed by doctors. Animal testing should be eliminated altogether. To begin, doctors race to
find a cure to many illnesses that come up with humans. They work long and hard trying to figure
out a way to stop ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Most people might agree that theses three methods are more humane than others, however, they
are still not entirely a solution. Most animal research labs now a days are very secretive because
of the simple reason that many extremist act out against them in inappropriate ways. There are
always cases where people sneak into these labs and release all the animals and also destroy the
property. Even though I understand the good intentions of the people, it is not the proper way to
solve this problem. Having these labs be more secretive in fact can be worse. The people who
control the animal testing lab will feel that if no one knows that they exist, they can do whatever
they want. They are more likely to mistreat and misuse the animals because they wont have to be
worried about abusing the law. All laboratories, if there should be any, should be highly controlled
and regulated. There should be inspectors coming in and out constantly making sure all the animals
are being treated fairly and properly. It is alarming how many well known companies use these
types of animal laboratories just to make a bigger profit. For example, the companies that test on
animals include Vaseline, Johnson amp; Johnson, Neutrogena, and Cover girl. These are only some
companies. There are about thousands of companies that still test on animals. Animal testing is not
necessary to benefit the human society. There are many cheaper and faster alternative methods that

A report on Indian Iron and Steel Industry
OVERVIEW
1.1 Background The Indian iron and steel industry is nearly a century old, with Tata Iron Steel Co

completely freed from the licensing regime (in 1990 91) and the pricing and distribution controls.
The steel industry is expanding worldwide. For a number of years it has been benefiting from the
exceptionally buoyant Asian economies (mainly India and China). The economic modernization

major thrust areas of the Indian Iron and steel producers in the recent times. After liberalization,
there have been no shortages of iron and steel materials in the country. 1.4.1 Production of
Carbon Steel The total production of finished carbon steel in the country has been 42.636 million
tonnes in 2005 06 as compared to 29.77 million tonnes in 2000 01, indicating an average increase

substantial supplies of semis, the basic feed material from the main producers for conversion to

Oct23, 2015:
The Language Came into My Life is an autobiography of the Hellen Keller a woman who lost her
hearing ability and vision when she was an 18 months old baby. The loss of the two very
important senses pushed her into a very critical situation where she had a very limited interaction
and understanding of the world. She had a very small world based on her own perception, where
she had her parents, siblings and some other things, but she was unable to have a name for the
things she could experience. She was unable to get an introduction to the world when she was seven
and her teacher Anne Sullivan came into her life.
Before her introduction to the language, she was bitter, angry and stressed all the time as she said

The main idea of the story is that the language has a great importance in a person s life, whether a
normal person or the one who has lost one or some vital senses. Before the arrival of Anne
Sullivan in the life of Helen Keller, her mood was dark all the time because she was unable to
communicate to her surrounding world. The story is also showing that learning a language for a
deaf and blind person is equally important because in this way they can feel and see the world.
Language unveiled a new world to her where she had an opportunity to learn something new which
ultimately improved her mood, and changed her thoughts about life. For the first time she realized
that everything had a name, and each name give birth to a new thought (Eschholz, Alfred, Clark,
2013)
Helen spent most of her time in learning new things and in the exploration of the world. The
way she spelled doll after getting a doll from her teacher and the way she spelled water when
cold water flowed on her hand was really heart touching. I knew then that w a t e r meant the
wonderful cool something that was flowing over my hand. (Helen, Keller, 2013, p. 74). Helen

Over 400 Division I men s athletic teams have been disbanded from existence since the inception
of Title IX. Title IX, implemented in 1972, is a comprehensive federal law that prohibits
discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program or activity. (Keating)
Title IX has achieved great success with women s sports since the inception and the number of
females in sports is six times greater since the inception of Title IX(diversity.siu.edu). Although it
has had great strides with women, it is disadvantaging men, especially in athletics. Title IX
requires that colleges give the same amount of scholarships to women as they do men. On paper,
this seems to be a great idea, but the consequences were never taken into consideration and caused
tremendous problems. In order to give the same amount of scholarships to men and women and be
compliant with Title IX, men s athletic teams have been cut in the process. Men losing the
opportunity to receive scholarships for their respective sport at a collegeof their choice and sports
teams getting cut is an issue that needs to be solved. Men s sports teams cannot keep on being
cut, for there are ways in which Title IX must be enhanced to benefit everyone. The problems of
men s athletic teams being cut can be solved by reducing outrageous spending, add women s
programs, and give more control to colleges. Before Title IX was created, fewer than 32,000
women took part in college athletics while over 170,000 men

4th of April 2014 Abstract For macroeconomics, we were given an assignment to examine and
analyze the causes of the business cycle in foreign economies. We were divided into groups of 6
and were given the instructions to randomly select a continent. Our continent was North America.
We had to choose between Canada and Mexico. The reason why we decided to choose Mexico is
because of its economy trade with the US, their migration flow, the interesting influence on oil
prices worldwide and the impact that the drug cartels have on Mexican politicians. Mexico is
known for being one of the world s most corrupt nations but somehow they still manage to have
one of the best industrializing economies in Latin America. The causes for a country s business
cycle can be either endogenous or exogenous. Throughout this paper, the internal problem of
political corruption will be analyzed and discussed in order to determine Mexico s economic stage.
Introduction Between 175 countries, Mexico is ranked as the 103rd most corrupt nation
worldwide. Corruption has become the cancer of Mexico. Organized crimes and corruption are
linked with each other and cannot operate without one another. There are witnesses who have seen

If you lived in the time of the Holocaust and you were a non Jewish person, would you want to
take the chance of fighting back and having the consequences of your actions affect the lives of
your family? Or would you just go with the flow and stand back as the Jewish people were
punished? This is a question that people in this time had to ask themselves. Some decided to take
the chance and fight back, but many did not. Most people, who had families to think about, chose
to stand back from what was happening. Honestly, the non Jewish people who chose to stand back
had every right to make this decision for themselves and their families.
Although the decision that was made by these people can be explained, some may not see it that
way. Some may see it that the people who chose to stand back were simply being weak or that
they were immoral. They could ve fought back if they wanted to, but they chose otherwise. They
chose what could be looked at as the, easy way out . Another side to this could be that not
everyone had a family to think about, and those who did have a family could have acted in a way
that didn t get them involved. They should ve thought that maybe if they spoke out then other
people would be more willing to stand up for what was right. If the thought that one person can t

Finally, the other option for Netflix is that, if they are not sure if interest rates are going to go up or
down, they can still hedge against this risk by issuing a long term callable bond so that if interest
rates do drop significantly Netflix can call its debt back and reissue at the lower rate.
Another way that Netflix has been and plans to continue expanding its membership is by
offering its services abroad. In fact, Netflix has already entered the Canadian market and is in
the process of offering its services in the United Kingdom. Obviously this is great news for
Netflix shareholders however going international also brings additional risks. One of the major
risks that we foresee would be exchange rate risk. For example, when Netflix starts to offer its
services in the United Kingdom, it will have to decide on what it will charge its British customers
a month. However, it will have to do so in pounds, which is the local currency.
If for example, we assume that Netflix charges its U.S. customers 10 dollars a month for its
services and that it wants to charge the same real value to its U.K. customers, if the pound/dollar
exchange rate is .5 pounds for 1 dollar then Netflix would have to charge its U.K. customers 5
pounds a month. However, interest rates are constantly changing and if Netflix doesn t do
something about this risk then its cash flow would be constantly changing. For example if the

One of them, named as Leinster group, had crosses made of granite. The other is known as the
Ulster group. On the other hand, Françoise Henry proposed at the same time that the high crosses

Atrial fibrillation is a condition that the heart beat irregularly and often rapidly. Normally, a

and squeeze regularly traveling the electrical signals through the atrioventricular node (AV node)
which is situated in the centre of the heartbetween the atria and ventricles, the electrical signals then
steadily pass through to the ventricles keeping the heart beating constantly and bloodflowing to the

31. What Are The Three Core Moderators Of Tactile Salience Are
Core factors
In fig. 1, the three core moderators of tactile salience are:
1. Technology characteristics/capabilities. Technology characteristics include the engineering
specifications of the tactor display. For example, abrupt onset (or changes) in stimuli and high
frequency (200 300 Hz) tone burst vibrations are known to be more salient, as measured by
probability of detection (Mortimer et al. 2007). Early studies of tactile signaling focused on
psychophysical responses to tactor characteristics (see reviews by Cheung et al. 2008, Cholewiak
et al. 1991, Lederman Klatzky, 2009, Loomis Lederman, 1986). Others have also discussed tactor
characteristics such as the amplitude, frequency, and ISI, transducer force, bandwidth, and duration
of signal (Cholewiak Wollowitz 1992, Jones Sarter, 2008; Mortimer et al. 2007).
Technology also includes characteristics arising from multiple tactors, such as type, variety, and
number of tactors in the array. Some tactor cues can be likened to melodies (Brewster Brown,
2004). Brewster et al., referred to these tactile melodies as tactons (tactile icons). Similarly, multi
tactor cues developed to cue different operator actions have been referred to as tactions, or tactile
actions (Mortimer et al. 2011). Tactons and tactions can be defined in terms of dimensional
variables affecting salience (e.g., simplicity, intuitiveness, meaningfulness, distinctiveness).

Nothing is more devastating for a family or community to lose a young person to teen suicide.
Oftentimes, parents, classmates, siblings, and neighbors are left wondering whether they could

Preventing tragedies such as these require a proper understanding of suicide ideation and the risk

in teens can be quite complex. In general, the rate of suicide attempts in children is much lower,
but as they progress to become adolescents, the rate goes up sharply.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), suicide ranks third among the
leading causes of death in the United States for people aged between 15 and 24 years.
The risk of suicide has been shown to dramatically increase in instances where teens have access to
firearms. Statistics reveal that 60% of all the suicides in the United States are gun related.
Therefore, parents and guardians with guns in their homes should ensure they are unloaded and
safely locked out of reach of teens.
Apart from access to firearms, overdose resulting from over the counter prescriptions and self
medication are among the leading methods through which teens attempt and complete suicides. In
terms of gender, there is a stark difference between girls and boys. While the

37. Literary Devices In The God Of Small Things
Arundhati Roy s The God of Small Things, a twisting tale seemingly centered on a case of family
tragedy, unravels to form a critique on rigid social structures. This renders Iser s quote significant
to a huge extent, as proven by the novel s fragmented narrative. By building the narrative around a
crucial lack of information, readers are pushed to engage thoroughly with the text, as they have to
piece together the jigsaw pieces that make up the story, so as to make complete sense of it,
henceforth enabling a better understanding of the explicit when the implicit comes to light. In
doing so, the meaning of the text comes alive in the readers imagination (Bennett 1682) through the
readers realization that the seemingly irrelevant,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The lengthy narration of this ancient tale, while initially seeming irrelevant, serves to depict the
timelessness of the destruction that can be brought about by these Love Laws . Along with the
clearest example of the refusal to adhere to these Love Laws as captured in Ammu s love affair
with Untouchable Velutha which had led to the massive literal and figurative destruction of
many lives, Roy argues how both obedience and disobedience of these laws will lead to
destruction as human s passion can never be contained by them. As such, by inviting the reader to
piece together the puzzle pieces of this critique, the boundaries between the writer and reader is
blurred as the reader writes the text as well. Hence, the reader becomes more receptive to the
sensitive, painful questions that Roy pushes, not only about India s caste prejudice but social
structures that are adhered to globally , as he has become more involved in the world of the

39. Essay on Compare and contrast †Disgrace’ with Jude the...
J.M Coetzee s Disgrace literates Lurie s attempt and failure of the seduction of a school girl,
Melanie. This is a campus novel about the first flirtation between a university lecturer and a student.
The aptly named novel suggests the possible overall outcome of having a relationship with a
student.
Disgrace is written from a third person in favour of the protagonist, David Lurie s point of view.
Lurie is someone who has achieved what he wanted to in life, academically but perhaps not
romantically? Whereas, Melonie Issacs, his student has yet to fully experience university life to it s
full and to achieve her academic goals. This novel is written in present tense which gives a sense of
ominicity. (I really want this to be a word, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Similarly to Disgrace , Jude is a novel about a first flirtation. Jude is a young scholar, (like
Melonie) who is determined to do well in his studies who has been disturbed from his ambitions
by the country girls. These women s crude sexuality is threatening Jude s scholarship and
ambitions. Arabella is very similar to the character of Moire in Brian Friel s Translations as they
are both animalistic down to earth women. In contrast to Disgrace , Jude has an omniscient
narrator, giving us in site into all of the characters lives. This guides the reader to feel sympathetic
towards Jude as the women are preying on him, also contrasting to Disgrace as in that extract, the
male is the perpetrator and the woman is prey. Jude doubts Arabella, but is however, curious of her.
She holds him back from his ambition and deviates him from the straight and narrow , his
relationship with Arabella progresses beyond this extract, but undoubtedly ends in heartbreak and
unhappiness. This is also illuistrated by the initial throwing of the penis, the complete disreguard of
the male sexual organ which has been thrown in his face causing a mockery.
Lurie in Disgrace uses poetic language forms and phrases with his attempt to lure Melanie into his
seduction; he is fixated on her physical attributes stating that a woman s beauty does not belong to
her alone . This could be considered as an attempt to

40. Essay about Global Warming
Global Warming
The climate is changing. The earth is warming up, and there is now overwhelming scientific
consensus that it is happening, and human induced. With global warming on the increase and
species and their habitats on the decrease, chances for ecosystems to adapt naturally are
diminishing. Many are agreed that climate change may be one of the greatest threats facing the
planet. Recent years show increasing temperatures in various regions, and increasing extremities in
weather patterns. Research has shown that air pollutants from fossil fuel use make clouds reflect
more of the sun s rays back into space. This leads to an effect known as global dimming whereby
less heat and energy reaches the earth. At first, it sounds like ... Show more content on

We are fortunate that our modern societies have developed during the last 10,000 years of
benignly warm, interglacial climate. But for more than 90 percent of the last two million years,
the climate has been colder, and generally much colder, than today. The reality of the climate
record is that a sudden natural cooling is far more to be feared, and will do infinitely more social
and economic damage, than the late 20th century phase of gentle warming. The single human
activity that is most likely to have a large impact on the climate is the burning of fossil fuels such
as coal, oil and gas. These fuels contain carbon. Burning them makes carbon dioxide gas. Since the
early 1800s, when people began burning large amounts of coal and oil, the amount of carbon
dioxide in the earth s atmosphere has increased by nearly 30%, and average global temperature
appears to have risen between 1В° and 2В°F.Carbon dioxide gas traps solar heat in the
atmosphere, partly in the same way as glass traps solar heat in a sunroom or a greenhouse. For this
reason, carbon dioxide is sometimes called a greenhouse gas. As more carbon dioxide is added to
the atmosphere, solar heat has more trouble getting out. The result is that, if everything else stayed
unchanged, the average temperature of the atmosphere would increase. As people burn more fossil
fuel for energy they add more carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. If this

section{Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Vs Electronic Health Record (EHR)}
Electronic Medical Record or EMR is basically the digitized version of the patient s medical
record which might include demographic information, scanned copies of the patients report and
any other information that might be collected by the healthcare provider about the patient. With
EMR, it is usually collected and maintained by a single entity. The single entity can use EMR for
diagnosis of treatment and the diagnosis reports cannot be shared with other entity because EMR
are designed not to be shared by outside entity. Figure ref{emr} displays the visual representation
of EMR and EHR within New Zealand. It shows how medical information is collected from
various healthcare providers and feeds to the national EHR. EMR are single records that can be
accessed and modified by everyone within the practice and can be referred to anything that can be
found on a paper chart, such as patients treatments, diagnosis etc.
Electronic Health Records is the aggregated medical information that is maintained by and shared
across multiple entities. EHR is a vital document that contains very sensitive information about the
patient such as name, address, date of

Closely followed by Columbus discovery of the New World in 1492 were the establishments of
European colonies with the French primarily in the north and down the Mississippi, and with the
British along the east coast. As a result, the Native Americans lives changed drastically. Before
1750, in terms of economically, French responded mutually in terms of economy, culturally
befriended them and in terms of religion, responded benignly by encouraging Catholicism through
missionaries and on were on the best terms with the Natives; the British by contrast, economically
oppressed the Native Americans, responded ungratefully and harshly in terms of culture, and
responded without zeal or much motivation in terms of religion and had the worst relationship...

Spanish settlements in Northern America were primarily established for gold and silver for
example they forced slavery on Indians to work in gold and silver mines. Another example stands
in Hernando Cortez, upon conquering the Aztecs, besieged their capital city and stole their gold
and other precious resources. Unlike the English the Spanish were much more willing to integrate
cultures like the French. Intermarriage between Spanish and Native Americans was very common
which formed a new ethnicity which established a cultural peace between Spanish and Natives.
However, they still dominated the Natives to ensure they can fully exploit the natural resources.
Some argue that the Spanish did try to make reforms as Bartolome de Las Casas attempted for a
milder policy against Natives. However, these attempts were futile as no major changes occurred.
The devout Catholic Spaniards were much more aggressive than their counterparts on religious
matter. They forced the Natives to convert using the encomienda system and the missions they set
up. Overall, they were not as bad as the English, but they were not on as great of terms with the
Natives as the French

The investigator Joe Raedle reported that, In December 2006, four year old Rebecca Riley was
found dead in her parents home, a victim of a prescription drug overdose. An autopsy revealed
four different drugs in her system: an antihistamine (used to treat allergies), a cough suppressant,
an anti seizure drug and a blood pressure medication. The last two drugs had been prescribed not
because Rebecca suffered from seizures or high blood pressure. Rather, Rebecca s psychiatrist had
prescribed the drugs to alleviate her attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and bipolar
disorder, respectively (Raedle, Joe). A large number of new stimulant and nonstimulants users were
children and teenagers, where doctors felt comfortable prescribing such unpredictable drugs. The
