This document discusses the challenges posed to religious believers by religious pluralism. It begins by explaining that religious pluralism refers to the existence of multiple religious beliefs and practices within a society. It then discusses two main challenges: 1) the challenge of relativism, where religious pluralism may lead people to believe that no religion can claim absolute truth, and 2) the challenge of maintaining one's own faith commitments in the face of alternative beliefs. The document suggests that religious believers must find a way to remain confident in their own beliefs while also respecting those of others in a pluralistic society.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall

Short Film Examines the Hardships of Disability

Imagine is a brief and melancholy exploration into the lives of a family that is forced to deal with a
rare genetic disease.
Here in the year 2017, we are very fortunate to be living at a time of medical advancement. Ailments
and illnesses once thought to be death sentences centuries or even decades ago can be cured by a
simple pill or vaccine. With that said, scientists and doctors still do not have all the answers. While we
are much less likely to die of common diseases, there are some that are not so easily combatted. Some
afflictions are difficult or near impossible to treat, and this is especially arduous for those who are
born with them. People suffering from genetic diseases ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

father (Dan Burman) try to cope with the fact that their daughter cannot have a normal life. Given his
age, Mason s skills as a director shine brightly in this piece. The cinematography, editing, lighting, and
acting are all top notch. This young man has some serious talent, and has a lot of potential going
forward as a filmmaker. If you want to cry at a short film, Imagine will fulfill that need. This dramatic
short will make you commiserate with the characters, and hope against all hope that Millie gets better.
Parents can relate to the heartache of seeing their children go through so much pain, and when the
family in the film react to their daughter s condition, it comes off as genuine. Imagine is unrelenting
with its melancholy tone. There are no jokes to bring levity to the situation. There is no sugarcoating
of the deadly circumstances that Millie is forced to confront. While this does make the short film hard
to sit through, it brings an air of realism to the story. Families dealing with NP C know how serious
the condition can be, and know that it is no laughing matter. It also emphasizes the need for funding
the research of this disease, which is why it was made in cooperation with several charities dedicated
to the fight against it. Imagine may not be the most uplifting of tales about fighting disease, but it is a
much needed look into the lives of those who are affected by

It is clear that in today s society there is still a growing controversy surrounding equality between

exposed to violence was a concern to the public. The media have often shown violence against

The decision to lift the ban on women in the battlefield will open up hundreds of thousands of jobs

BP Oil Spill Survey
Research Question
How did the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010 affect our economy and environment, and what
does the future hold, with regard to the environment, oil drilling, and sustainability?
Introduction
For the best range of participants and the east of analyzation, I chose to conduct an electronic survey. I
posted the survey (publically) on Facebook. This allowed people from all over the country, from
almost all sections of social economic class, of a variety of ages and education experiences to take the
survey privately without my influence pushing them into certain answers by accident, and (hopefully)
eliminated their desire to please me. I offered no reward for this survey, and I ended up with six
participants. I then had the computer randomly select three participants. This survey was designed to
gauge people s opinions on the effects of the BP oil spill on 2010.
Analysis
I had six people take my survey online. The computer randomly selected three people for my analysis.
67 percent of all the people who participated were male (the rest were non binary), but the three
selected people were male, so there might be a male bias in the data. I found that the three people
selected disagreed on most of the questions. For example, one person felt that the economy was
strongly affected by the oil spill, but the other two felt that it did not affect the economy to a large
degree. Generally, everyone selected knew

Throughout 1764 to 1774, the British imposed a series of new acts on the colonist which only created
stronger unification and brought the colonies closer to rebellion (Schultz, 2010). The first act was
known as the Sugar Act of 1764. Although this act decreased the taxed amount on molasses and sugar
imported from non British colonies in the West Indies, it was problematic for the colonists as it
strengthened the enforcement of collecting taxes. Next, the British imposed the Quartering Act of
1765. The Quartering Act was disrupted the homes of the colonists because it required the colonies to
provide food and shelter to British troops that were stationed in their territories. In the same year, the
Stamp Act was passed, which required all officials papers such as wills, newspapers, diplomas, and
cards to have an embedded stamp proving that the paper or document had indeed been taxed. These
acts were were becoming a nuisance to the colonists so they began to organize themselves by forming

In Arthur Asa Berger s essay, he conducts a semiotic analysis of the comedy television show Cheers.
In his analysis of the show he points out many characteristics that refer to semiotics. Even though one
could not agree with all of his findings, many of them are reasonable. One discrepancy someone might
have with his ideas is that he applies his analysis to simply one episode rather than the entire series.
Berger could have been able to conduct a more thorough examination if he used the whole series as a
basis for his semiotic analysis. There are many examples Berger uses to explain his point. One such
example Berger uses is the instance about the signs. He states that there is more ... Show more content

Either way one sees it, both meanings apply to the plot of the show. This is what Berger is trying to
explain in his semiotic analysis. Another example Berger uses is the example about the names of the
cast of the television show, Cheers ;. Berger states that there is a definite meaning behind every
character s name in the show. For example, the character named Coach ; is an absent minded character
that can t even remember his own name. The real meaning of the word coach ; is a mentor or a
teacher. This is not a very good argument used by Berger because any name could be made to have
different meanings. One of the final examples Berger uses is the example about opposition. In this
example, Berger explains how the writer of the television show used the personalities of the different
characters to make them opposite. If looked into carefully the characters in the show have opposite
personalities. Berger compares the identities of Diane and Carla, two of the cast members of the show.
After conducting a semiotic analysis of the identities of both of the women, Berger found that the two
women have almost total opposite personalities and interests. This example was presented very well
by Berger, and was fully analyzed in detail. In this essay, Berger does a wonderful job in conducting a

this to be a very intriguing plant to research because we grow alfalfa on the farm as a fodder feed for
the animals but I had no idea that it had such a practical use in modern medicine. It is believed that
alfalfa was first grown somewhere within the Middle East and then spread to Europe and parts of
Asia, the colonists brought it over from Europe to America. And today it can be found in nearly every
continent used to feed livestock. The leaves of Alfalfa are what is beneficial in the use of
medicine. The leaves are known to have positve affects on the digestive system and can help to lower
cholesterol. They also aide with the cleansing the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
You just have to know what you are looking for! Feverfew is mainly known for helping with
headaches, but it also helps to lower a small fever, hence the name feverfew. Recent studies have
found that the plant can help with arthritis pain and inflammation but the affects are small unless taken
in a concentrated dose, and the study found that it didnt help with the rheumatoid arthritis. Feverfew
was a common plant during the 1900 s to help with small ailments and it is still used a lot today in
common medicine. Since it is such a common plant and it is not scarce or fought over by anyone, I do
not think that the United States or any other government in the world should be required to
compensate any people for using the feverfew in medicine. Feverfew can be found nearly all over the
world now, but its most commonly found in America, Europe, and parts of Asia. I feel as though the
drugs developed from the plant are beneficial enough and no drug company or governments needs to
compensate for making advancements in medicine with feverfew. I think this because most people
dont even know what feverfew is or its uses. And because it is so common and easy to grow or find.

16. Carnage And Culture By Victor Davis Hanson
Victor Davis Hanson is a former classics professor, an American military historian, a scholar of
ancient warfare and a columnist. He graduated from Selma High School, he also received a BA from
the University of California in 1975 and later got his Ph.D. in Classics from Stanford University. His
rich education background and experience, therefore, qualifies him for his work, especially his book:
Carnage and Culture: Landmark Battles in the Rise of Western Power. In the book, Victor Hanson
intends to shed light on the predominance of the western military as attributed to the western Hellenic
culture as well as its legacies. John Lynn is a history professor at the University of Illinois; he is also
an adjunct professor at Ohio State ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He looks at the army and warfare in terms of men, technology, valour and victory (Hanson 68). He
also discusses the west?s militarism tradition. A tradition supports mobilization of citizen soldiers and
animating them with principles of collective endeavor. According to Victor Hanson, it is the west?s
tradition that has helped them develop and maintain a strong military power. Hanson struggles to
recreate nine ?landmark? episodes of combat through which the west gradually started their rise to the
top. In this approach, three classical period episodes are depicted to show the situational onset of the
rise of the west as Salamis, Cannae and Gaugamela. Hanson depicts these battles to have manifested
particular western lethal military machinery. Moreover, the chronology is given a vivid progression
when the author depicts that gradual spread of the western style war machinery through three
additional battles as Tenochtitlan, Poitiers and Lepanto. The author eventually examined the gradual
mechanism of battle spread from Europe into the west. The distinct military style of invincibility is
further traced through Midway, Rorke?s Drift and Tet.
John Lynn, on the other hand, tries to conceptualize the relationship between practical dimensions of
war and cultural factors. Although he tries to undermine Victor Hanson?s idea of war, he discusses the
realities of combat and discourse of war based on social and political

17. The Use Of Slang And Its Significance On English Essay
Before getting into the abundance of slang and its significance on English, it is first best to cover the
four base words of the LGBTQ community and how they have transgressed over time. Queer, lesbian,
homosexual, and gay all share an importance to the beginnings of the more modern usages. The origin
of queer is unclear, but the Oxford English dictionary defines one of its earliest meanings around 1513
as strange, odd, peculiar, eccentric . It wasn t until the 1900s that it was used as an offensive term for
homosexual people, with its original meaning still in context. This changed in the 1990s when early
conversations about queer theory were had by social theorists Michel Foucault, Eve Kosofsky
Sedgwick, Judith Butler, and others. This brought the word into a new light. Of course it still holds
some of its derogatory meaning, but by using this word to define a theory that discussed the idea that
gender is major part of the necessary self and in gay/lesbian studies it closely examines the socially
constructed nature of identities and sexual acts. This reading connects directly with what is happening
at present, which is a reclaiming of queer by people in the LGBTQ community to stand for both
questioning and sexual and gender minorities. In her article on equality, Lisa Duggan states, Queer
people, particularly queer people of color, began to reclaim queer in response to a perceived shift in
the gay community toward liberal conservatism, catalyzed by Andrew Sullivan s

Roseanne uses her television series to show how women really were like in the 1980s. They were
pretty much in control of the family and relationship. They rejected all stereotypes of the man being
the king of the house. The women had the power and authority to back them up. In another episode
titled D I V O R C E Roseanne tries to convince her husband Dan to go on a romantic dinner. She goes
out of her way to convince Dan to suit up with a tie and go out to dinner with her. In the episode
Roseanne is seen being the romantic one and wanting to dance with her husband. She tells him sweet
things and makes sarcastic jokes about getting divorced. It is not till the end that we can see Dan take
her to dance because that is all she wanted. She wanted to dance with Dan because it has been a long
time since they went out. In the episodes Roseanne uses her character traits to help change the
representation of women on the television screen. Roseanne uses a lot of sarcastic jokes to explain
what she wants. Roseanne helped push for woman s acting and allowed many women to pitch their
own show or be the main character.
Andrea Press compares the ways in which the American working class receive television

19. Aspects Of Current Kikuyu Culture
Aspects of current Kikuyu culture were molded by modern demands impressed upon them by British
colonization. British colonists brought western ideas about living standards and health care, as well as
projecting British ideals of family life upon the Kikuyu people. In the 1950 s, as a reaction to this
imposition of western beliefs and practices upon the people of Kenya, the Mau Mau began to fight the
existing British infrastructure. This uprising was a final divide in the Kikuyu tribe based on the
members desire to either adapt to modern customs or continue to try to live with their old culture. In
many ways, British colonization continues to have a lasting and substantial cultural impact on the
Kikuyu today.
To comprehend the effect that British colonization had on the Kikuyu people, first we have to examine
the pre colonial Kikuyu society. The ancestors of the Kikuyu participated in the Bantu expansion, a
millennia long phenomenon during which Bantu speaking peoples migrated from Western Africa to
various regions in Southern and Eastern Africa (The Bantu Migrations). Prior to European
intervention, the structure of Kikuyu society was relatively egalitarian. The people of the Kikuyu did
not practice slavery, and made no attempts to garner prisoners from neighboring tribes or villages. The
political structure of the Kikuyu tribe was divided among nine separate clans. These clans were all
related along maternal lines, and oftentimes lived in very close proximity to one

Both The Black Cat and The Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe has a dark side that arises from each
narrator. Both short stories start with the reassurance of the narrator s sanity. This is especially ironic
because both turn out to be completely mad. In the short stories both narrators have some sort of
trigger that sets them off and exposes there mad man tendencies. In The Tell Tale Heart Poe s narrator
has an obsession with the old man s vulture of an eye. He speaks of it like a person itself while it is
only just an eye upon the man s face. In the short story The Black Cat the narrator portrays himself as
an average man with a wife and pets living in a house. As the story plunges further there is conflict

21. Systematic Review Paper
Abstract
Traditionally, systematic reviews (SR) are descriptive secondary research, which may or may not be
accompanied by statistical methods (metaanalysis) of pooling the results of primary, quantitative
studies to answer a clinical question or test a hypothesis (Chalmers 1996). Similarly, qualitative
primary studies can be pooled and synthesised in order to develop new theories to aid decision
making, re shape policies, and influence professional practices. Over the past 20 years, patient and
public involvement (PPI) in research have become increasingly crucial, which has fuelled the
increasing popularity of qualitative research as better ways of incorporating public and patient views
into health, social and economic policies. There is however a confusing array of methods available for
conducting secondary qualitative research. In this paper epistemological concepts guiding a number of
methods are discussed. The consensus on enhancing transparency in reporting the synthesis of
qualitative research (ENTREQ) is also reviewed
Introduction
Synthesis of qualitative data has never been as popular as meta analysis. It is however becoming an
increasingly useful secondary research tool in a diverse area of problem solutions, ranging from
leadership and management problems (Walsh 2005; Galuska 2012), sociology (Wilder 2014) to
clinical research questions (Beck 2002; Kennedy et al. 2003 and Orri 2014). Secondary research could

For example, most military games are based solely on some war or other, such as the games Call of
Duty or Medal of Honor. Neither game is very original, as they really have no storyline other than to
run around shooting the enemies. Originality is a prime requisite of a game being considered art.
Other games lacking in uniqueness are games based on movies or books. Most famous in this category
are the Star Wars games and Lord of the Rings series. Both may be very fun to play, but being fun to
play does not make them art. Art is original, fresh, never before thought of material. Star Wars and
Lord of the Rings both have engaging storylines, but said storylines had already been established
years before any game was produced. Again, to be art, a video game must have an original storyline,
not a preconceived one. As a rule, few games meet the originality criterion, but there are exceptions.
The Legend of Zelda. To any gamer it is a familiar name. The reason is simple it was the first of its

playing game, it allowed the gamer to be in the decision making role, not just a straight line, no
choices game, as most were at the time. This was a new concept for a video game at the time The

Firstly, the Jews and Muslims are divided by their different cultures. The three main cultural
differences are their clothing, beliefs, and foods. Common clothing that Jewish men wear is the

or throughout the day, and can be worn under a street hat. The Tallit is a large rectangular fabric made
of wool, cotton or synthetic. In each of the four corners are strings tied in a specific pattern called
tzitzit. On the other hand, Muslim women wear the hijab, abaya, or burqa. The hijab is a folded piece

Vikings came from Scandinavia (Sweden, Denmark and Norway.) The Viking age was between 793

where employees in different locations communicate using tools such as video conferencing. This has
increased contact between companies and their outsourced services providers. As such, efficient

35. Self Destruction In Macbeth
The quest for self fulfillment can lead some to their own destructions when these individuals cannot
compromise their goals. Shakespeare uses characters within the play Macbeth to draw attention to the
dangers of relentlessly pursuing the goal of happiness while also presenting the few that have the
ability to compromise their needs as those who ultimately triumph. The idea of constantly pursuing a
goal no matter the consequences or the actions necessary to succeed will only lead to the self
destruction of that individual described by the play Macbeth. Shakespeare reveals characters that
embody their ambitions completely to the full extent where they create a false face (that will) hide

36. See What I Say
See What I m Saying is true to scientific facts and offers material that can help to deepen and expand
one s sensory experience. The book is full of amazing examples of individuals utilizing their senses in
ways that seem unreal. It is interesting, attention grabbing and can show just how magical ordinary
life can be. While admitting that I did not believe that I would like this book at first, after reading I
found it to be far more thought provoking than ever imagined. I especially loved the end of the book
where Rosenblum states, In a way, this entire book is a lie. (p267) He says that it is a lie because of the
way he divides up the chapters into five sections, therefore giving the impression that he supports the
traditional idea that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I believe that students could acquire a significant amount of information out of reading this book.
Rosenblum does an exemplary job of showing that every one of us has incredible perceptual
capabilities that we use all the time, even if we are not completely aware that we are using these
abilities. Although not exactly to the extent to which we see in the book; we use smell to determine
other people s moods and emotions. We also use our sight to a surprisingly large extent to listen to
what someone is saying to us; for example in a crowded restaurant, when it is difficult to hear we try
to read lips along with trying to listen. We also use hearing as well as sight to travel from place to
place. And as these examples show, our senses combine more often than we might think to help us
better navigate around the world that we live in. Also, our brains appear to be designed to deal with
multisensory perception and can, for instance, interpret auditory input as visual information. These
concepts and ideas help open the minds of students and teach them things about perception and our
senses that they would never know. I know that it personally did that for me. His approach to
explaining these phenomena s is an interesting thought provoking way that I think students will be
able to follow and stay captivated. Reading this book is important for 4220 students, and honestly all

37. The Pros And Cons Of Lean Manufacturing
Introduction: The idea behind the lean manufacturing is to work relentlessly on eliminating waste by
the end of the manufacturing process. As stated by Cirjaliu and Draghici, (2016), lean manufacturing
works as a collection of a number of tools, techniques and tips that proves effective for driving the
wastes generated during the manufacturing process. Lean manufacturing as it is also known as Toyota
Production System is one of the most basic and systematic form of waste elimination system.
Lean manufacturing has become one of the most acceptable forms of manufacturing technique among
the various manufacturers. The aim of the report is to analyze the advantages and limitation of the lean
manufacturing process. A detail analysis of the system will be done by referring to a number of
scientific journals based on the same topic.
Analysis of the production technique: Lean production is all about gaining more by doing less, such as
less time, limited fund and labor and also within a small space. Thus, five major areas that drive the
lean manufacturing process are its quality, cost, kind of delivery, safety and morale. By the means of
lean manufacturing, a number of advantages can be achieved. These advantages are:
Reduction of waste by 80%
Production cost is reduced by almost 50%
Flexibility of the system increases
Labor cost gets reduced by at least 50% (Bhamu Singh Sangwan, 2014)
Capacity of the current facilities increases by 50% as well

Based on Geert Hofstede book titled Long term Orientation (LTO) Cultures and Organizations:
Software for the Mind, Third Edition, There are five dimensions of National Culture. Before, it was
just a four dimensions but research by Michael Bond and colleagues among students in 23 countries
led him in 1991 to adding a fifth dimension.
And the five dimensions of national culture are: Power Distance, Uncertainty Avoidance,
Individualism vs Collectivism, Masculinity vs Feminimity, and Long Term Orientation.

Japan has 46 score, it shows In this case, Japan is totaly reflecting Asia, because most of Asian love to
set them self in a group, and have some harmony on it. And also Japanese also known as the most
country when the employees has a very deep loyality to their company.
Masculinity
In my opinion, Masculinity versus femininity is about the value system refers to genders s role in
society. If some country has a low number of masculinuty, means that country s values systems refers
to feminimity which is the society is caring others and have a good life quality. But if the country has
a high score of masculinity, that is mean the country s society is driven by competition and thought
that be the winner means succsessfull.
Example:
US has 62 for masculinity, it means that US s society is much to masculin. They want to have a lot of
achievement as their succes standard, they would love to compete and be the winner instead.
Japan has 95 for their score, it shows that Japanese is an absolute masculin, their succsess is define by
they become the winner or they can be the best in their field or not. So Japanese can easily motivated
through competition to show which one the best of them.
Uncertainty Avoidance
In my brief opinion, Uncertainty avoidance is how people or groups dealing and preparing for

39. Analysis Of Much Ado About Nothing
Adapting a William Shakespeare play can prove to be a challenge, as so many have done so, making it
difficult to stand apart. Accordingly, Plymouth State University added a modern twist to the play
Much Ado About Nothing, and, despite certain missteps, I considered it successful. Furthermore,
director Jessie Chapman not only changed the time period to a post World War I setting, but included
modern music as well. Accordingly, the costumes were changed to fit the era, including the soldiers
uniforms. Despite consisting of one location, the set design was convincing, and the actors used it
efficiently. Speaking of which, the majority of the cast lived up to the characters they portrayed, with
several standouts. The lighting design had its own intricacies, with the color of the background light
changing based on the time of day or when certain characters appear. The sound only played a role
when the background music played, of which I question the choices for music. Although the play
plodded during certain scenes, other scenes, like that of Benedick and Beatrice eavesdropping on
conversations, never ceased to entertain. Ultimately, the play served as a worthy adaptation of
Shakespeare s classic story.
In Much Ado About Nothing, Don Pedro and his company returns from the First World War as a guest

Among lots of these outside factors is terrorism because of the unlawful use of violence and
intimidation, particularly against civilians, inside the pursuit of political aims. The oblique outcomes
of terrorism create the maximum danger to the activities of companies and then throughout the supply

42. Why The Rich Should Pay Higher Taxes
What do you think would happen if the rich paid more taxes? Would there be a better economy or
would it be worst, maybe even stay the same. Increasing the taxes would help out our economy in a
few ways. one way that it would help out our economy is that not only would there be less of a
concentration of profit at the top of our social ladder there would be more revenue for the funding of
civil union jobs. Also not to mention causing the bigger corporations to have to pay more so they
would be unable to escape with the majority of the illegal activity they do today. Lastly if the
government were to crack down on offshoring it would help with collecting taxes and the money
would return to the people and back into circulation for our economy. Here are some reasons why the
rich should pay higher taxes.
One of the obvious reasons to raise the taxes of the rich would be because they simply earn more. One
example is if two people started the year off with fifty thousand but then let us say one had a rich
family member that died and they had received millions through a will, then say they received a gift of
one billion by the end of the year they pay the same taxes even though one of they are now a
billionaire (Cohen). The reason is that the government does not tax on gifts or wills so then they
would not have to pay more taxes if they received a gift that had consisted of a large sum of cash
(Cohen). Now there is a large chunk of change out of circulation and now the middle/lower

Mexican labor offered. Due to a low cost of production this spurred the growth of Mexican
manufactured goods which were exported and purchased mainly by American consumers. For many
of these businesses it was their first time opening operations in the Central American country, and
American businesses shared concerns over regulatory differences in U.S. and Mexican labor laws. The

In the United States workers generally pay into these programs in the form of a tax in exchange for
future benefits; however, in Mexico this burden lies on mainly employer contributions which total
around one third of a workers overall salary in one year. Mexican employers pay this money to the
Mexican Social Security Institute(IMSS), who oversee worker benefits. (IMSS) funds are obtained
primarily through employer contributions(70%), but also come from employees(25%) and from the
government (5%) (Posthuma, Dworkin, Torres, Bustillos 2000). Just as in the U.S. all workers must
enroll into this program. The program not only serves as a means of retirement pensions, but also
includes full family medical care, unlike the private insurance system that is more prominent in the
United States. The IMSS is also responsible for social services such as free child care centers and
death benefits. There is also a separate system in Mexico that is much like the transferable IRA system
that is used in the United States. These additional retirement funds are often managed by a third party
such as a bank or investment firm and employers are required to contribute a minimum of two percent
of one s salary and up to a maximum of twenty five percent on top of employee

Motor racing is a popular sport in United States and elsewhere in the world. It is recreational,
adventurous and competitive. Motor racing involves motorized vehicles in different kind of racing or
competition. More professional skills and technical knowledge are needed in some of these high speed
racing events such as rallying, car racing, etc. However, there are also motor sports which are lower in
cost and do not require skilled or well trained drivers. Kart racing is one of them. Kart racing is an
open wheel motorsport with small, open, four wheeled vehicles called karts, go karts, with different
transmission mechanisms depending on the choice of design. They are usually raced on scaled down
circuits. One typically starts with Karting before moving to the higher ranks of motorsport. Out of all
of the different types of racing in the game, Go Karts are real fun and thrilling way to hit the tracks.
This project explores the distinct advantages that Go Kart should have in today s sports, the design
features needed to build a Go Kart, and how to stay safe in this fun motorsport.

Specifically, I will be discussing a scene at the beginning of the film when the coked out businessman
Mark Hanna (Matthew McConaughey) plying Jordan Belford (Leonardo DiCaprio) with advice about
Wall Street during a lunch meeting. The mise en scene of The Wolf of Wall Street was designed and
determined during pre production and it was carefully planned because this specific scene when
Jordan Belford seek advise from Mark Hana, Jordan was essentially looking at himself in the future.

restaurant that was located inside a skyscraper. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The location of the lunch meeting is perfect because it indicates the wealth and vibes that is being
taken place when the two met. A key component to realize is the subjects; the acting style of
McConaughey demonstrated great performance in terms of his physical movement throughout the
scene and the hand movements when he was talking makes the audience feel a part of the moment.
Additionally, both actors during the scene performed so well to the point that it provided information
to the viewers like myself that it is a significant scene of the movie and we will later see how that
meeting changed his life. To point out, the costuming of both Belford and Hanna in their two piece
suits symbolizes power and wealth, which is the whole point of the movie itself. Notably, the
composition of the arrangement of settings, lighting, and subjects of the scene is important, almost to
the point where an average individual would feel intimidated by the scenery. The frames are always
focused on the subject matter, and that is Belford and Hanna. The filmmaker displayed asymmetrical
composition between Belford and Hanna during the meeting, Hanna being the person that took more
