There have been many studies done to figure out which of the many testing styles allow students to
both retain more information and help elevate some of the pre exam stress, while at the same time
not putting too much work on the professor. Out of all the styles that have been tested, two of the
most common styles that constantly rival each other are the open book test vs. the closed book tests.
Many teachers still cling to the traditional closed books test.
A closed book test is a test where students are expected to study their note before a test is given and
try their very best to memorize everything that they can fit into their heads in order to successfully
pass the test, then go into the exam with nothing but the pencil in their hand and the test on their
desk.
An open book test, is a test that allows students to bring either their notes or something that can be
written on such as a sheet of paper or a note card that was given to the student before the exam.
Both of these exam types have a wide range of both advantages and disadvantages.
One of the most common disadvantages that is often mentioned for closed book exams is the fact
that as far as the real world is concerned, closed book test are unrealistic. For many subjects the

separated into three 1L beakers which were then filled to the range of .95L to 1L. The water
samples as is, were then swabbed for bacteria, and rubbed across a Tryptic Soy Agar plate (TSA),

the drinking water tablets per their instructions, and was then swabbed again for bacteria after
the 35 minute mark. This second swab was then also streaked across a TSA plate in order to

Data Collection: The Missouri Department of Corrections has provided a portable document
format (pdf), on their website available to the public that provides a multitude of information on
their local counties as well as the characteristics of the local county jails: www.doc.mo.gov
/Documents/publications/OffenderProfile2013.pdf. After sorting through this one hundred and
twenty page document, I found the information I was looking for, on page nine of this file was a
list of one hundred and twelve counties and their rank, prison population, population estimate, and
incarceration rate per 100,000. I converted this pdf page into excel and was able to utilize the
information in an easier method. Since there was only a requirement for thirty data sets, I needed
to make an unbiased selection to the information. With the data already converted into an excel
format I was able to run an excel formula (=RANDBETWEEN 1,112), and excel randomly
assigned numbers to each county. I then sorted the counties by newly, unbiased assigned number in
numerical order, and highlighted the top thirty rows. I copied this data over and used it in my
scatterplots, (raw data provided in appendix).

the vase, there are repeating decorative motifs including perhaps birds and clouds at the top,
along with vertical flowers and leaves motifs closer to the body. The paintings on the top part of
the body appear to have three identical birds and clouds in compartmentalized sections around
the vase. Below the birds, there are bamboos, rocks, flowers and a peacock. At the lowest part,
there are repeating decorations in geometric forms and vine motifs. The iconographies of swirly
clouds, bamboos and rocks are very similar to common Chinese ones. The swirly clouds means

eating and feeding disorders in the DSM V. An eating disorder is most commonly defined as any

Unfortunately, eating and feeding disorders are seldom recognized as extremely prevalent or in
desperate need of help. According to the Association of Anorexia Nervosaand Associated Disorders,

Anorexia Nervosa and Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder are two disorders that deserve
