Modelling and Analysis of CNC Milling Machine Bed with Composite Materialijsrd.com
Structural materials used in a machine tool have a decisive role in determining the productivity and accuracy of the part manufactured in it. The conventional structural materials used in precision machine tools such as cast iron and steel at high operating speeds develop positional errors due to the vibrations transferred into the structure. Faster cutting speeds can be acquired only by structure which has high stiffness and good damping characteristics. Clearly the life of a machine is inversely proportional to the levels of vibration that the machine is subjected. The further process is carried out to undergo the deformation, natural frequency and displacement using Static analysis, Modal analysis and Harmonic analysis respectively. Since the bed in machine tool plays a critical role in ensuring the precision and accuracy in components. It is one of the most important tool structures which tend to absorb the vibrations resulting from the cutting operation. To analyze the bed for possible material changes that could increase stiffness, reduce weight, improve damping characteristics and isolate natural frequency from the operating range. This was the main motivation behind the idea to go in for a composite model involving High Modulus Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composite Material (HM CFRP). Though carbon has good strength and stiffness properties but it lacks in damping requirements. On the other hand polymer, though it lacks in strength but it has good damping characteristics and it is used to hold the carbon fibers. This makes it ideal to combine these materials in a proper manner. In this work, a machine bed is selected for the analysis static loads. Then investigation is carried out to reduce the weight of the machine bed without deteriorating its structural rigidity. The 3D CAD model of the bed has been created by using commercial 3D modelling software and analyses were carried out using ANSYS.

Seismic Performance Study on RC ChimneyIRJET Journal
This study analyzes the seismic performance of a 180m tall reinforced concrete chimney using the SAP 2000 software. A parametric study is conducted to determine the effects of various parameters on the base shear and fundamental time period of the chimney. These parameters include the grade of concrete, wall thickness, top diameter, seismic zone, presence of openings, and soil type. The base shear and time period calculated from SAP 2000 are also compared to those obtained from the Indian code provisions. The results show that increasing the grade of concrete, thickness, top diameter, or soil stiffness decreases the base shear and time period, while more severe seismic zones or the addition of openings increases the seismic response of the chimney.

This document analyzes a G+25 reinforced concrete structure with shear walls under seismic loads using STAAD Pro V8i software. Five models are considered: a conventional building without shear walls, and buildings with shear walls placed at intermediate, corner, middle, and core locations. The models are analyzed and their base shear, displacement, story drift, shear force, and bending moment are compared. Previous studies on using shear walls to resist seismic forces are summarized. The goal is to determine which shear wall location provides the best seismic resistance. Load combinations from Indian codes are applied to the models for analysis.
IRJET- Behaviour of Tuned Mass Dampers on Dynamic Response of Structure u...IRJET Journal
This document discusses using tuned mass dampers (TMDs) to reduce the dynamic response of structures subjected to seismic excitation. It presents the results of a study that modeled a 20-story reinforced concrete building in SAP2000 software. TMDs with masses ranging from 0.2% to 2% of the total building mass were added to the model. The study found that adding a single TMD or multiple TMDs tuned to different structural frequencies reduced the displacement response of the building compared to a bare frame model without TMDs. Tables show the calculated properties of single TMDs with varying mass ratios, including the damper mass, frequency, and damping ratio. Graphs compare the displacement responses of models with and
Seismic Performance Study on RC ChimneyIRJET Journal
Space frame is an alternative building system to traditional masonry construction. It consists of 3D welded wire panels with optional polyurethane insulation that form lightweight, modular walls. Space frame walls offer advantages over masonry like rapid construction, strength even in unstable soils, lightweight materials, and cost savings. Technical specifications and load testing results show that space frame walls can bear significant weight, with a single wall panel surviving up to 13.9 tons per running meter and double wall panels withstanding over 15.5 tons per running meter. Previous building projects demonstrate successful uses of the space frame system for internal and boundary walls.
Glass Fibre Reinforced Gypsum Panels By Raijul IslamMd Raijul Islam
This document discusses glass fibre reinforced gypsum (GFRG) panels, which are gypsum-based wall panels reinforced with glass fibre. GFRG panels provide advantages over conventional construction methods such as reducing construction time, costs, waste, and environmental impact. They are made from an industrial waste (gypsum) through a three stage process involving pouring and spreading gypsum mixtures and glass fibres between plugs to form hollow cavities. Buildings can be constructed using GFRG panels by erecting them on foundations and filling cavities with concrete to form integral walls, floors, and roofs. GFRG panel construction has potential to address housing shortages and environmental issues in developing countries like Bangladesh.
IRJET - Sesismic Analysis of Multistorey Building using ETABSIRJET Journal
This document summarizes a study that analyzes the seismic performance of a multi-story building using the structural analysis software ETABS. The building is designed according to Indian codes for dead, live, wind and seismic loads. Shear walls are included in the structural design to resist lateral loads. Two models are analyzed - one with columns designed as shear walls, and one with minimal column thickness. The results show that the model with shear walls performed better under lateral loads and had higher base shear than the column-only model. The study concludes that including appropriately placed shear walls improves the structural stability of buildings under seismic loads.

In the Adani-Hindenburg case, what is SEBI investigating.pptxAdani case
Adani SEBI investigation revealed that the latter had sought information from five foreign jurisdictions concerning the holdings of the firm’s foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in relation to the alleged violations of the MPS Regulations. Nevertheless, the economic interest of the twelve FPIs based in tax haven jurisdictions still needs to be determined. The Adani Group firms classed these FPIs as public shareholders. According to Hindenburg, FPIs were used to get around regulatory standards.
