"The times they are a-changin ..." Präsentation Browsergamesforum 2012 - Slid...André Bernhardt
Slightly edited and enhanced Slideshare version of my talk:
André Bernhardt is going to give you a short history of the german browsergames developer/ publisher vanguard distributing the free to play business model: Showing the key players and their most succesfull titles as well as the risks and problems they have to face to stay on top of the competition within the near future. He will especially focus on new mobile devices as a disruptive technology challenging the classical distribution approach, the growing competition as brick and mortar publishers challenge them on their own turf as well as the menace of crowdfunding vs. classical publishing business.
This month TWDA revamped its newsletter in terms of content, layout and even design, so here is a look at the 16th issue which is discussing fashion players and their performance in the digital world! Hope you enjoy it and please tell us what do you think
This document discusses PowerPoint templates and slides, noting that what matters most is not the design of a template but rather how it is used. The nervous system consists of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and peripheral nervous system (nerves). It coordinates the body's actions and transmits signals via neurons, which are specialized cells that send electrochemical signals rapidly between parts of the body. The nervous system is found in nearly all animals and can range in complexity from a simple nerve net to systems with billions of neurons like in humans. It is susceptible to malfunctions from various causes like damage, disease, or aging.
Bridge Ads aims to bridge the gap between developers and businesses by providing an app-based platform. The app allows businesses to list their inventories and set filters, while allowing developers to search for optimal cooperation opportunities. Users can scan QR codes to access virtual items within the app and track their consumption via daily check-ins. Businesses benefit from improved sales and have the option to charge developers fees based on the price of virtual items sold or through account upgrades. Developers gain access to a large user base and intelligent brand matching. The financial projections estimate increasing revenue and redeems over five years, becoming profitable in year three as costs are covered.

Alveoli are tiny grape-like sacs in the lungs where gas exchange takes place. When the heart contracts, blood is pumped to the lungs where oxygen passes from the alveoli into the blood and carbon dioxide passes out of the blood into the alveoli. The now oxygenated blood returns to the heart. There are over 300 million alveoli in each lung that surround capillaries to efficiently exchange gases through their thin walls.
This document describes characteristics of an ideal employee or team including being unique, innovative, efficient, highly productive, focused and motivated. It emphasizes positive attributes related to work performance and productivity. In a few words, it outlines key qualities for success.
The immune system protects the body from pathogens through layered defenses. The innate immune system provides an immediate response, while the adaptive immune system responds to specific pathogens. Both systems must distinguish self from non-self molecules. Physical, chemical, and biological barriers comprise the first line of defense against infection, blocking pathogens from entering the body. These include mechanical barriers like skin, as well as secretions containing antimicrobial peptides and enzymes.
An (unexpected) journey through the history of Video game business models not...André Bernhardt
Lecture from the Quo Vadis conference in Berlin April 2013 (DGT13). Trying to summarize the history of different business models in the past to see wether history will repeat itself.

1) Getting a perfect score of 100% on a Mali test gives students something to be proud of and makes their loved ones proud as well.
2) The document provides background information on Mali, including that it was ruled by powerful kings, storytellers called griots, and is located in West Africa near rivers in desert-like conditions with gold mines. Salt was an important natural resource that was traded for gold.
