- Opinion Marking Signals – signals use the signal words that will help to express and identify opinion Examples of Opinion marking signals are perhaps, maybe, I think, I hope and etc. These words or phrases are used in different manners and for different purposes.
- Multimodal Text conveys meaning and information through a combination of two or more modes. The modes of communication are Textual – this mode emphasizes text such as an essay. Visual – what an audience can see such as videos, images, colors, etc. Aural – what an audience can hear such as silence or music. Gestural – emphasizes movement such as gestures made during a speech. Spatial – emphasizes space.
