The Missing Found By Margaret Peterson Short Story
A mysterious airplane arrives at gate 2B of the airport. It was not supposed to be there. It did not show
up on the radar, It was not a scheduled flight, and all airplanes were accounted for. It just appeared.
There was no one on board except 36 babies. This is a piece of the book The Missing: Found by
Margaret Peterson. While this story takes place in a unique, interesting, and unrealistic setting, it still
has a universal theme to it. The author shows that the characters can make strong friendships through
character and plot development. The plot of this book is about the journey of discovering their own
identities, and the journey starts because of the main characters friendships. Jonah, the main character,
has been loved and cared for by his family his entire life and has never thought seriously about the fact
that he is adopted until he gets two mysterious letters in the mail, both with no return address. Jonah
thinks that these are just a prank letter, but his friend Chip gets panicked when he gets the same letters.
Jonah finds out that Chip s parents had never told him that he was adopted as well. Jonah thinks He d
never met Chip s dad, just seen him drive by. Jonah probably couldn t have picked Chip s dad out in a
line up. However, right now Jonah wanted to stolk over to Chip s house, swing his best punch, and hit
Chip s dad right in the mouth. (Peterson 35) Jonah feels angry towards Chip s parents because they
refuse to tell him anything else about his adoption. Later Jonah says I swear, I ll do everything I can to
help you. (Peterson 35) This quote suggests that Jonah cares deeply about his friend and wants to
support him, and he promises he will do everything he can to help Chip. Jonah, Chip, and Jonah s
younger sister, Katherine begin the journey to find the truth about their past. Their friendship pushes
them into a wild adventure for seeking their identity.
Unlike Chip s parents, Jonah s family always support him, especially Katherine, his younger sister.
Jonah, Chip, and Katherine come to realize that they are missing children of history who were
transported here to the 21st century in the form of an airplane. Even though Katherine is not one of the
missing, Katherine continued to

Causes Of Crimes Against Humanity Essay
We know crimes against humanity as a deliberate criminal act or acts that are typically part of a
systematic campaign which causes human suffering or death on a large scale. The acts are an attack on
human dignity where the crimes can be committed during times of war and peace. Offences that come
under this category include murder, extermination, enslavement, deportation or forcible transfer of a
population, imprisonment or other severe deprivation of physical liberty, torture, sexual violence,
persecution against any identifiable group or collective, enforced disappearance of persons and other
inhumane acts of a similar character and gravity1,2,3.
I have decided to examine sexual violence and in particular the motivations behind such crimes that
constitute as sexual violence; this encompasses crimes such as rape, sexual slavery, enforced
prostitution, forced pregnancy, enforced sterilization, or any other form of sexual violence of
comparable gravity1,2,3,. In particular I am going to examine sexual violence in reference to the
conflict in former Yugoslavia, known as the Bosnian war.
The Bosnian War of 1992 1995 was a major conflict that was seen to be politically and racially
motivated between the Serbian s, Croatian s and Bosnian s. During this time the Serbian s were
participating in an illegal conflict by being in violation of the Geneva conventions, customary laws, as
well as committing odious offences that we know as crimes against humanity4.

Martin Luther King Letter From Birmingham Essay
In Dr. Martin Luther King Junior s Letter from Birmingham, he discusses that there are four basic
steps to nonviolent campaigning. There is the collection of facts to determine whether injustices are
alive; negotiation; self purification; and direct action. Civil disobedience and civil rights can be
directly related to these steps and the process of a nonviolent campaign. Civil disobedience is defined
as a form of political participation based on a conscious decision to break a law believed to be unjust
and to suffer the consequences. (Edwards 647) Martin Luther King Jr. may be the best example of a
civil rights activist. Dr. King came to the realization in his Letter from Birmingham that, Freedom is
never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed. Dr. King had found
that injustices are alive through his own personal experience of segregation and discrimination. He
was on his way to completing the first step in his own process of nonviolent campaigning. Specifically
in Birmingham, there was vast unjust treatment of African ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Martin Luther King Jr discusses in his Letter from Birmingham that there are four basic steps to
nonviolent campaigning. There is the collection of facts to determine whether injustices are alive;
negotiation; self purification; and direct action. Dr. King himself exemplified this process while
leading other civil rights activists. He was successful on many occasions, especially in his famous
march from Selma to Montgomery. Nonviolent campaigning is a form of civil disobedience and can
directly help retain, acquire, or reform civil liberties and civil rights. Nonviolent campaigning and
other types of civil disobedience can also abolish unjust laws or practices (de jure and de facto).
Martin Luther King Jr. may be the best example of a civil rights activist and he truly followed his own
steps and was highly successful in positive action towards African American rights and

Parking Spaces For Harrisburg University
1. INTRODUCTION Harrisburg University currently has about 860 parking spaces on campus,
located in 326 Market Street, open for general public parking 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through
Friday and 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and closed on Sunday and all major holidays. Parking is
available 24 hours daily, 7 days a week including holidays for monthly parkers only. Parking garage
rates varied depending on the duration of parking. A parking occupancy study which counted occupied
parking spaces in and around the campus during a typical class day was conducted. It was found that a
lot of the students utilized street parking as it was inexpensive; however, parked at their own risk. The
purpose of this proposal is to document the existing campus parking supply and demand for parking
spaces and to provide a recommendation for the number of parking spaces needed for students with
the main objectives of improving location of parking so that it supports the university, safety of
vehicle access, and the safety of the campus community, and improving parking management,
reviewing current strategies and making improvements to management and methods of operations. 2.
BACKGROUND 2.1. Existing Parking Harrisburg University currently utilizes 860 parking spaces,
located in the car park garage. Around the campus area, parking spaces on the street are also available
at a reasonable price ($9/3 hours). Figure 1 below outlines the current garage parking rates. There are

To What Extent Was Wilhelmine Germany an Entrenched...
To what extent was Wilhelmine Germany an entrenched Authoritarian state? Kaiser Wilhelm II came
to power in 1888 after Wilhelm I died and a brief reign from Frederick III, his behaviour could be
unpredictable and although he was the grandson of Queen Victoria he was anti British, however he
admired them at the same time. He believed in the divine right of kings, the theory claimed that, kings
were only answerable to God, and it was sinful for their subjects to resist them. Wilhelm II was
determined to exercise much more direct control over government than his grandfather, this was
apparent in 1890 when Wilhelm disagreed with Bismarck s anti socialist policies, colonial expansion
and relations with Russia, consequently Bismarck retired ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A reason why Bulow may have proposed to lower the tariff rate is because of the power the Social
Democrats and Left Liberals held in the Reichstag as opposed to the Conservatives in 1902.
Therefore, this meant that there would be no political backlash towards the Chancellor thus the Kaiser
was less likely to force him to resign. Eventually, the tariff was lowered to pre 1982 levels, and was
effectively a compromise between the Social Democrats, National Liberals and the Free
Conservatives. This left the working class content; subsequently meaning they applied less pressure
upon the government. Bulow s decision was backed up the following year by the election result where
the Socialists gained 25 seats and the Conservatives lost 4 seats. This is an example of the declining
influence of the Junkers, and more importantly an example of democracy. The Hottentot election was
the name given to the election in 1907 and resulted after the Kaiser dissolved the Reichstag after they
failed to support Bulow s government in their proposal of using more money to suppress the rebels in
the Colony of German South West Africa and to compensate the white settlers. The government s
election campaign was anti socialist, anti Catholic and Nationalistic. The result was that Social
Democrat seats were halved, and right wing parties gained seats. As a result, Bulow bloc a coalition
was formed which comprised of the

Walker Art Center Research Paper
So what exactly is the Walker Art Center? The Walker Art Center is a contemporary art center in
MInneapolis Minnesota. It was established in 1927 and it is also one of the most visited museums in
the United States. For this paper I was assigned to visit the Walker Art Center and choose one piece of
art to write an essay about. It was my first time going to the Walker Art Center and I found myself in
amazement with the all the artwork there. I examined many pieces and found the piece Do woman
have to be naked to get into the Met. Museum ? By the Guerrilla girls the most compelling. I found
this piece compelling because it was the only one that caught my eye since it was one of the few that
represents feminism and equality for women and minorities. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

First of all I started with the subject matter of the artwork. What I saw the subject matter to be was the
woman with the gorilla mask on because it is what catches the audience attention, and it was also the
most detailed aspect in the artwork. The rest was is bolded words and blanket the woman lays on. The
poster is also an example of postmodern art. Next, the medium of this artwork is screen printed on a
poster. The Form of this image is huge. When I saw it at the Walker Center in the section of the
Guerilla girls it was the biggest of them all. The others were fairly small and put next to each other but
this one in particular was by itself and much bigger than the rest. The context about this poster is that
you see a woman that is naked and she wears a gorilla mask which represents the guerrilla girls. She
also covers her private parts to get the point across that is stated in bold letters that is also the title of
the artwork which says Do woman have to be naked to get into the Met. Museum ? In other words, the
naked woman s private parts being covered is not a coincidence but instead it is the artist s way of
telling people how naked woman are often used in artwork and it s not fair. The poster gets even more
descriptive with the smaller bolder words in the image that state Less than 5% of the artist

I Know The Lord Has Made This Possible For Me
Thank you for this great opportunity to volunteer at Teen Challenge. I know the Lord has made this
possible for me. Speaking of libraries, I have identified some factors that in my opinion can greatly
enhance the use of the library by students and staff members. If I understand you correctly, your desire
is for the library to be frequently visited by the students and staff of Teen Challenge.
The challenge, in this case, is to establish a library that serves the needs of students and staff member
of Teen Challenge. Teen Challenge is a very strong organization by God s grace with very high
Christian, ethical and moral standards. Additionally, it has a space available that can be turned into a
more than adequate reading and studying space.
However, there are some factors that are by nature opposing the achievement of the goal of
sustainability and frequent use of students and staff. Because of this, it is highly recommended that
steps be considered in order to assure success for the present and the future of this very important
project.
Firstly, the designation of a librarian is vital for continuing the duties of managing collections (books,
periodical, articles, newspapers, magazines, DVD, CD, etc.), program development; obtaining,
analyzing and reporting the feedback from patrons. A successful library is one who is able to
determine the needs of its patrons and satisfy those needs and wants by structuring operations
accordingly.
Secondly, a library is no longer a

Dance Camp Short Story
Dance Camp
Lily got out of the door of their black car and saw the Interlochen Fine Arts Camp sign. She let out a
small squeal and said, I can t believe I am going to the Fine Arts Camp!
Lily looked to her dad and he said, Well you deserve it since you are the top dancer in your dance
studio. Also, you didn t spend hours of dancing for nothing.
As they pulled up to the large white gateway a person was standing by it she had a white shirt on and
navy pants. The woman looked up and yelled , What s your name, what category are you in?
My dad said, Her name is Lily Huston and she is in the dance category. We drove through the large
white gateway and went to the dance dorm room location. There were large beautiful bushes and
bright blue hydrangeas. They parked in the driveway and my dad said softly and a little bit teary eyed,
I will miss you over the summer. I hope you have a good time and be safe. Don t fall, don t get sick,
and do not cheat! Then he gave her the biggest hug she ever had.
She said I will miss you too, don t forget to pick me up! She gave him one more hug and her dad
hopped into the car, waved and drove off.
Lily walked into her assigned dorm and saw her best friend, Kaitlin.
After they said their hello s and then Lily looked at the other side of the pale, white room and saw a
girl named Lydia. She was scoffing at them as they were done saying hello .
Lydia stood up and said, Wow, this will be an easy competition!

Pig Taphonomic Bodies
A comparison of decomposition patterns in human bodies versus pig bodies and the reliability of pig
taphonomic facilities.
Taphonomy is described as the study of the stages of decomposition that lead to fossilization and it
originates from a subsection of Forensic Anthropology. All over the world there are various
taphonomic facilities, dedicated to the study of decay in both humans and animals, most notably pigs.
These facilities are founded to help Scientists gain an understanding of how human decomposition
progresses in various simulated conditions that are comparable to the conditions found at different
crime scenes. The information gained through this research is vital in enabling Pathologists and
Forensic Anthropologists to make advances in determining the time of death of recovered bodies. This
essay will cover the similarities between human and pig decomposition and consider whether pig
taphonomic facilities are a valid source of data to be used in the place of human taphonomic facilities.
There are six functioning human taphonomic facilities, known more commonly as body farms . In the
US, the first one was launched in 1981 in Knoxville, Tennessee by Dr William M. Bass. This facility

This is mainly due to ethical reasons associated with the experiment. There have been debates as to
whether it is deemed ethical to establish a facility that uses human remains as experiments as it shows
a lack of respect to the deceased. To overcome this problem, animal substitutes are used in the place of
humans, the most frequently used being pigs, see Figure 2. There are also issues with the potential
location of the site. The site must be large enough to carry out the research and also with a great
enough distance from civilisation to prevent any complaints or difficulties arising in the future and
also minimise the risks of contamination of farming land and water

Essay on Raphael Sanzio s Life and Accomplishments
Raffaello Sanzio was an amazing artist from the late 1400 s to the early 1500 s, who created many
amazing paintings that helped change the style of medieval art to Renaissance art. Without him, the
style of art now would most likely be more primitive and not as advanced as it should be. This is
because he made many advances including more realistic painting. His most important paintings
include The School Of Athens , the Sistine Madonna , and the Marriage of the Virgin . Not only are
those some of his most famous paintings, they also show the realisticness that changed the world.
Raffaello Sanzio had a very interesting young life. He was born in Urbino, which at the time was a
cultural center that encouraged the arts. The arts ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He was his apprentice at the town of Perugia. Since Perugino was a master painter this greatly
influenced Raphael s young life and encouraged him to become an artist. Raphael, before exiting
apprenticeship, made a few amazing paintings. These include the Mond Crucifixion, The Three
Graces, The Knight s Dream, and The Marriage of the Virgin, which I will mention later.
Raphael made many very detailed paintings. My choices for his most contributing paintings are The
School of Athens, The Sistine Madonna, and The Marriage of The Virgin. They were just a few of the
many amazing paintings that Raphael has painted. The School of Athens was possibly Raphael s most
popular painting. It shows representations of many mathematicians, philosophers, and scientists of the
Renaissance. The two people walking down the middle of the hall are Aristotle and Plato who were
very important contributors to the way of western thinking, and in different ways, their philosophies
were incorporated into Christianity. Plato is holding the book called The Timaeus. Plato points up
because in his philosophy the changing world that we see around us is just a shadow of a higher, truer
reality that is eternal and unchanging (and include things like goodness and beauty). Aristotle holds
his hand down, because in his philosophy, the only reality is the reality that we can see and

History Of The Chinatown Of San Francisco

came from Guangdong, China; some of them who came here to dig gold, some of them who came
here to build a railway, and they settled their home as soon as they first arrived in San Francisco. Now
the Chinatown of San Francisco is a famous tourist attraction, and it appears to be routine for foreign
travelers to visit Chinatown when they prepare to have a trip in San Francisco. It is now more and
more famous than ever before, even the Chinatown is as famous as Golden Gate Bridge. There is

The events in the Books of 1 and 2 Samuel took place in ancient Israel over a span of about 130 years,
from the beginning of the eleventh century B.C. to the early part of the tenth century B.C. At that time
the world s approximately 50 million{1} people lived in pre industrial societies; their lives centered
on agricultural tasks they performed using primitive tools made mostly of wood and stone and some
iron.

Not all civilizations were equal; those situated in warm climates on fertile land near large rivers had
significant advantages over those that lacked these, especially if they were surrounded by mountains
or deserts. Such surroundings made an enemy s attack difficult. Cultural groups that possessed these
favorable sets of circumstances were poised to be superpowers. Within the Old Testament world three
different cultural groups had these ideal natural circumstances: Egypt, Assyria, and Babylon. Israel did
not, because it lacked significant natural defenses and had no useful river the Jordan River lies

The purpose of this study is to define and examine the range design requirements for a variety of case
studies on heritage museums with modern intervention, each of which has a different type: internal
intervention, addition or integration. In doing so, an analysis of the impact of the case by case design
requirements that the innovation has on the building s idenity can be made. Furthermore, the literature
review will highlight the fact that there are similarities and differences while finally considering the
notion that comparisons and commendalities could be made and will be further explored.

The aim was to preserve the architectural integrity of the ex isting building (Stott, 2014). The
proposed design hides underground beneath the existing footprint of the museum, which acts as a
landmark for the ar chitecturally conservative city. Ashley Hahn says, the expansion is by excavation,
and removing ob structions inserted into the museum s original de sign, which allow for major
improvements to light, circulation, and exhibition space. These are the main design requirements of
which the project is based. In other areas, Gehry added simple sand stone clad stair enclosures to
accommodate mod ern safety regulations (Hahn, 2014). He began by studying the DNA of the
building. He then looked at the significant assets that the original architects provided to create a strong
entry sequence and cir culation pattern. The aim of this is to connect the new to the old giving the
impression that the mu seum was of one harmonious design (Stott,

Essay on Yamashiro Restaurant Review
Yamashiro Restaurant
Dave Thomas an American restaurateur and a philanthropist once said, It all comes back to the basic.
Serve customers the best tasting food at a good value in a clean, comfortable restaurant, and they ll
keep coming back. (thomas). Everyone can agree on Dave Thomas, but I have a couple more criteria
to add to his idea of a great successful restaurant. If I go out to eat I might as well pick a place that,
though may be expensive, has scrumptious food because why bother going to spend money on food
you can make yourself? A great restaurant has to meet three of my criteria s: the Décor and
atmosphere, impeccable service and cleanliness, and most importantly the food.

significance this structure had in Los Angeles history. People that go there have a choice of where they
prefer to be seated: The Japanese Garden Court, Koi room, Skyview room, Sunset room, pool bar, or
the lounge. Each of these rooms has their own theme and particular view. The Japanese Garden Court
is absolutely beautiful because the actual seating area wraps around a manicured Zen garden with a
soothing waterfall and colorful Koi pond. Then this also leads to the Koi room a delicate ornately
painted room that also has its own Koi pond and garden. The Skyview room is glass enclosed with
vista prospect of Hollywood. I then head over to the sunset room, where you see the sun goes to sleep
and the moon rises. The pool bar is breath taking because of its 800 year old Japanese Pagoda and
newly renovated pool. The lounge is positioned so that every 400 of the seats can provide the best
views of the city. As I was walking through these sections, I noticed the atmosphere changed my
mood. When I was in the Japanese Garden court and Koi room, I felt a sense of romance. In the other
rooms, particularly the Skyview room, I felt a sense of tranquility. Each space has its own particular
ambience but all evoke a sense of opulent calm, a rare treat in hectic LA. At the end of my little tour, I
decided to choose the Japanese Garden room. I just could not resist the Koi pond with

You sighed as you saw the group leave, something inside you wanting them to stay longer. It was a

You can assume though, so you shrug, a walk in the park as a shortcut seems nice to you. You slowly

watching every tree you pass. Sure, it s cold but it s still beautiful. The color is still in the trees,
deepened by the frost. You breathe out slowly, watching your breath come to life as you step on a stick
you didn t notice. You felt it crack under your foot, but you heard no sound. You blinked, pausing for a
second before continuing again. A few steps later you finally hear the crack of the stick, which made

Determination Of The Presence Of Herpes Simplex
Determination of the presence of Herpes simplex through Indirect ELISA
Priscilla Mariel M. Cadiz
Biology Department, De La Salle University, 2401 Taft Ave, Manila, Philippines
*Email: cadizpriscillamariel@yahoo.com
Sexually transmitted disease is currently one of the major health concerns in the world today. Herpes
simplex virus is one cause of STDs. There are two types of HSV present namely HSV 1 which is often
found in the mouth area and HSV 2 found at the genitals. Indirect ELISA was used in order to
determine the presence of Herpes simplex among 3 different samples. Indirect ELISA involves two
antibodies; the primary antibody which is bound to the antigen and secondary antibody bound to the
primary antibody. Results produced by indirect ELISA produces better amplified signal. Results
obtained showed that 1 of the 3 samples tested positive for HSV. Indirect ELISA however cannot
determine what specific type of HSV is present in the sample. The cause of HSV 1 is the exchange of
body fluids particularly obtained through kissing while sexual contact causes HSV 2. Though it rarely
happens, there are possibilities that false positive or false negative results were obtained in Indirect
ELISA. Interference may cause error.

Climate Change and Public Policy Essay examples
It is becoming increasingly certain that climate change will have severe adverse effects on the
environment in years to come. Addressing this issue poses a serious challenge for policy makers. How
we choose to respond to the threat of global warming is not simply a political issue. It is also an
economic issue and an ethical one. Responsible, effective climate change policy requires consideration
of a number of complex factors, including weighing the costs of implementing climate change policies
against the benefits of more environmentally sustainable practices. Furthermore, this analysis must
take place amidst serious gaps in the existing research and technology concerning the developing
climatic condition. For these reasons, global ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, even for those who are less motivated by such moralistic calls to action, the fact remains
that conservation is as much an economic issue as an ethical one. While economic considerations are a
problematic feature of climate change policy, under the proper analysis, they also serve as an
important motivator. Economic analysis that weighs all costs and benefits of a particular model must
include environmental considerations. That is to say, the potential for short term economic losses
caused by conservation in the present, should be measured against the dividends that conservation will
pay in the future (Nordhaus, 2007). If the earth is truly our most valuable commodity, then analysis
under these conditions should recognize that if a dollar value were placed on environmental
sustainability, more often than not it would outweigh any initial monetary loss resultant of the
implementation of more sustainable practices. Indeed, if we accept the danger of global warming to be
a real and present one, then the question of how to address it must be given serious consideration.
Research conducted from as early as the 1950s through the present has afforded us a solid
understanding of its causes. In the most basic sense, the problem lies in the burning of carbon based
fossil fuels such as carbon and oil which leads to the emission of carbon dioxide (CO2). Gases such as
CO2 are referred to as greenhouse gases (GHGs) which accumulate in the atmosphere. GHGs can

A particular building or site distinguishes many cities. For example the Eiffel tower is the symbol for
Paris and one may say Buckingham Palace is the symbol for London. This means that a city s identity
can be portrayed through its architecture and I believe that a building like the Lloyds building is not
appropriate for the prestigious City of London. The extent to which the Lloyds Building is a modern
success can definitely be questioned. One of the aims of locating the ugly serviceable components on
the outside is that costs are saved on repairs because everything is accessible. However the cost of
cleaning the external steel is so extortionate and frequent that the benefits are outweighed completely.
Also, now that it is Grade 1 listed it means alternations are extremely hard to make. The whole point
of the design was that the building could be changed and re ordered like Meccano. This means it can
no longer even achieve one of the primary objectives that were in mind when it was built. This is one
of the main reasons I believe it does not represent a successful modern property development . In the
summer of 2013 it was reported: The outgoing chief executive of Lloyd s of London blamed the
design of the insurer s headquarters for its high maintenance costs 6and that Lloyds are considering
terminating their lease when the next break clause occurs in 2021. With regards to respecting the

The Government Wants Your Dna Database Generated By...
The government wants your DNA, yes or no? This has been the talk of the town after Major General
Wesley Wong, Second Minister for Law, announced plans for expanding the existing DNA database
generated by forensic investigation to cover the entire population for the purpose of solving and
controlling crime and terrorism.
Understandably, many concerns arise when such confidential and sensitive personal data are stored
indefinitely on a DNA database. Who could guarantee that this information would not be used in ways
that threaten people s individual privacy and rights and that of their families? Access to an individual s
forensic DNA profile can track the individual or his relatives, and reveal more detailed information
about his health. This carries many serious implications to the individual. However, there are currently
no international safeguards that would protect people s privacy and rights and prevent miscarriages of
justice.
Personal information is at stake with this new move. This seems to be the primary concern of the
people, with many writing in questioning the safety of such private information. These concerns do
not relate solely to the storage of DNA profiles and samples, but also to the other information that may
be kept. DNA contains highly sensitive personal information, such as inheritable genetic disorders that
could be accessed and revealed if the sample is re analysed. That being said, the law could demand
that the physical samples be destroyed as soon

Volumnia s Triumph in Shakespeare s Coriolanus Essay
Because Coriolanus is largely a stage of competing self interests, it seems wholly unnecessary to
acknowledge their centrality in the play. Most of these interests are ephemeral or situational, and are
thus without true devotion. Thus however enraged particular interests are, they are rarely triumphant.
However, Volumnia s self interest warrants noting, as she is consistently resolute and passionately
advocates her opinions. Her self interest ultimately triumphs over Coriolanus psychologically, and in
consequence leaves him vulnerable to be triumphed over physically. Assumingly on account of the
marginalized status of and opportunities for Roman women, Volumnia uses her son Coriolanus to

As Sicinius remarks, Being moved, he will not spare to gird the gods. (1.1.254) Coriolanus assumes
that he deserves unrequited honor and consequently treats any and all who contradict his intentions
with the utmost disrespect. He is relentless and debasing in interactions with the plebeians, treats them
as if they are animals, and considers them unworthy of respect. What s the matter, you dissentious
rogues,/ That, rubbing the poor itch of your opinion,/ Make yourselves scabs? (1.1.161 163) Nearly
every word in this statement contributes to its abusiveness. He calls the people dissentious (though not
in their opposition to him), rogues (although the plebeians are the one s being denied rations, rights,

calling them scabs! Attitude is learned, and Volumnia has been Coriolanus most influential teacher.
While she insists that he be diplomatic and even fake when necessary, Coriolanus shows that he
cannot selectively curb his attitude. It is difficult to say whether or not Coriolanus seeks fame on his
own behalf is or does so on account of his mother s insistence. The latter suggestion is quite plausible,
as Volumnia continuously references the importance of fame and honor. She insists that Coriolanus

Examples Of Promiscuity In Brave New World
Introduction: During the writing of the novel, Brave New World, Aldous Huxley, the author of the
book, saw the way society was beginning to change. Throughout the story, he explores many different
predictions that he has seen create an affect our world today. One of the main predictions he made was
on the way promiscuity has changed the view of romantic relationships. As Huxley began to see
people s sexual behavior change he used his ideas to integrate in with how the world would turn out.
Huxley incorporates promiscuity in his utopian society called the World State, to foreshadow how the
world is conforming to the beliefs incorporated in the novel. Analysis Portion: Aldous Huxley foresees
that promiscuity will become socially acceptable and engrained in culture due to the lack of romantic
relationships. While at the savage reservation Linda talks to Lenina about how Everybody belongs to

people. Well, here, ... Nobody s supposed to belong to more than one person. And if you have people
in the ordinary way, the others think you re wicked and anti social. They hate and despise you. (81). In
this quote Huxley talks about people being seen in the ordinary way . In his utopian society, being
promiscuous is not seen as wrong. However, in the savage reservation you are despised and disliked if

Frida Kahlo And Man At The Crossroads
Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera
Since there are numerous ways to look at an artwork, people may understand it in many different
ways. Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera were both artists with different styles of paintings. Frida Kahlo
painted small pictures, mostly self portraits whereas Diego painted large murals of scenes of industry.
The Broken Column by Frida Kahlo and Man at the Crossroads by Diego Rivera are artworks that tell
stories about the artists and what they ve been through. Both Frida and Diego dedicated most of their
lives to painting and found international success as painters. She was the woman who established an
art of observation and female responsiveness all of her own; He was the leading muralist who
presented shape and colour to the Mexican uprising and its communist future. Diego s works were
grand and symbolic whereas Frida s artworks were intimate and very personal and its natural scale
grew smaller and smaller until they were less than a foot squared.

value has a larger impact on party choice, both absolutely and relative to structual variables. Structural
voting and cleavage voting are stronger among pre war generations. The biggest diffrence from these
two generations is the fact of using the english language. The pre war generation feels that the post

Icelanders should have a goal to be renowned for their proficiency in english. Since this promotes
their country as a well educated nation that is suitbale of participation in international cooperation.
However official language policy has rapidly seen the growing prescence of english in Iceland as a
problem. The concern is that english is increasingly used in Iceland science, media, and computers.

Oppositional Defiant Disorder is a serious condition which educators need to know how to address for
the safety of the student, the other students and teacher. In the case of Jack, the situation has become
extremely serious for everyone involves which makes it extremely important for educators to have a
rich understanding of the behaviors, risk factors, and potential training supports associated with ODD.
The prevalence of ODD is unknown among children with mental health disorders in fact, it is
estimated to be around 2 through 12 percent since it is hard to distinguish between other disorders and
ODD (Austin Sciarra, 2010). Similar to ADHD, and autism ODD may be paired with other mental
health disorders (Austin Sciarra, 2010). For instance, I have a student in my class that have been
diagnosed with both ADHD and ODD similar to Joe; he has been known to be extremely disrespectful
toward authority in cases such as that it is important to put into place strategies to address both
disorders. Since it is hard to distinguish between ODD and other disorders it is important for educators
to know the risk factors of ODD. In the study Risk Factors for Conduct Disorder and
Oppositional/Defiant Disorder: Evidence from a New Zealand Birth Cohort researcher identified
several risk facts for ODD. Researchers have found that a combination of genetics, biological and

present time and times in the character s memory. The author matches the courtroom case against
Kabuo in the verbatim courtroom with the Japanese American community s case against their white
government and fellow citizen in the courtroom of the past. The author shows how the past
interactions influence the present. For instance, the reader learned that Kabuo was infuriated with Etta
for selling the land that he thought belonged to his family during the testimony of Etta Heine. During
Etta testimony the reader saw a flashback to a time before the war, which demonstrations to us that
Etta has always felt bitter against the Japanese. The flashbacks lend a hand in filling the gaps in the
story and elucidate the biases and prejudice on the trial.

Essay On 19th Century American Entertainment
During the 19th century, American had long working hours and have awful working condition because
of the American Industrialization. In order to relieve their stress, entertainments were necessary. There
were many forms of entertainment that were performed throughout America s history. Two of the
popular entertainment at that time were minstrel show and freak show. Minstrel show was also known
as the blackface, which was a theatrical show that was mainly performed by white people with
blackface makeup on. Another popular entertainment was the freak show. It was an exhibition of
human with unusual body part. Some of them looked different because they were from cultures, while
some of them had genetic mutation or diseases.
The minstrel show was a musical stage show performed by mostly whites. The performers blackened
their faces and perform music, comic skit and dancing. Jim Crow was one of the popular character
which represent a stereotype career slave. He was originated from a popular song called jump jim
crow. Another character was Zip Coon, who represent the free blacks. The black face shows used

Carol Ann Duffy Rubbish At Adultery
The three poems I am studying are Valentine by Carol Ann Duffy, Rubbish at adultery by Sophie
Hannah and Absence by Elizabeth Jennings. The three poems are each portraying different level of
love relationships, to express their feelings, whether it is trueness, yearning or bitter. The first poem I
am going to study is Valentine by Carol Ann Duffy. In Valentine Duffy introduces the reader to her
own symbol of love, the onion, which is unusual because the onion is a very tremble, malodorous,
bitter and unromantic entity. Duffy throughout the poem uses the onion as a metaphor for love and
develops it in different ways to demonstrate parallels between the onion and love. In Valentine there is
contradiction if Duffy is expressing feelings from a female perspective because usually a woman will
receive a red rose , satin heart and a cute card or kissogram , therefore the persona probably conveys
feelings from a male perspective. Which is a twist by Duffy, a persona who often had a feminist
perspective. In addition Duffy once more has written a poem subject to controversy because there is
negative attitude, a debate in the poem that normal valentines are not as honest this is evident on line
eleven as a single line I am trying to be truthful . For example first and twelfth line is structured as
single lines for attention and both embark on negative adverb not which indicates a rejection of
traditional love. Both lines continues with

Jack Smith. He had a very obsolete personality and could easily instigate a fight with anyone he met.

The Government Was Broken Following The Watergate Scandal
Trust in the government was broken following the Watergate Scandal, the American people doubted
the people running the country. Someone had to step forward and take the leadership position where
he would face a people who lacked trust in the government. Whoever took up this position was going
to face unusual circumstances and difficult obstacles from the first day of his presidency, and that man
was Gerald Ford. Ford was the only president to not be elected into office. After serving in Congress
for 25 years, he was looked up to for his flexibility, and had a reputation for being open and honest.
When Nixon s vice president resigned, Ford became Vice President since he was someone that both
democrats and republicans would accept. Having said that, Ford had been successful as a house
minority leader, but as a president he proved to be only average (Gerald). Ford rates as average due to
his decision in the Nixon pardon, his actions during a poor economy, how he handled domestic issues,
and his foreign policies. He may have had good ideas, but he had trouble implementing them. About a
month following his inauguration into office, Ford pardoned his predecessor, Richard Nixon,
following the Watergate scandal. This sparked anger among Americans who were doubting not only
the government, but the constitution. People believed that when Ford pardoned Nixon, it was proof
that our system was broken. Rumors spread discussing the possibility that a deal was made between

Important Parts Of A Cell
Introduction
The body is made up of billions and billions of cells that make up tissues that make up organs, which
make up organ systems. Within those cells are organelles including but not limited to a nucleus,
organelles, and cytosol. Cells are one of the most basic units of our bodies. With that being said, it is
safe to say that cells are extremely important. There are many parts of a cell and many ways that a cell
works. One of the most important parts of a cell is the plasma membrane. The plasma membrane is the
outer surface of a cell, which is made up of things called phospholipids, which form a phospholipid
bilayer. This bilayer is made up of phospholipids (75%), cholesterol (20%), and glycoproteins (5%).
This bilayer is only possible due to the phospholipids being amphipathic (polar and non polar parts).
Phospholipids are composed of a hydrophilic (water loving) head and 2 hydrophobic (water fearing)
tails. The Plasma membrane separates the cell s internal environment from its external environment. It
also plays a key role in communication among cells and between cells and their external environment,
(Tortora 60).
Many different proteins are located all throughout the plasma membrane. Some float around freely
and others are stationary in specific locations. For example, integral proteins extend all the way
through the lipid bilayer and go further into the interior of the cell. This makes them transmembrane
proteins due to the fact that they go all the way

  • 2. The Missing Found By Margaret Peterson Short Story A mysterious airplane arrives at gate 2B of the airport. It was not supposed to be there. It did not show up on the radar, It was not a scheduled flight, and all airplanes were accounted for. It just appeared. There was no one on board except 36 babies. This is a piece of the book The Missing: Found by Margaret Peterson. While this story takes place in a unique, interesting, and unrealistic setting, it still has a universal theme to it. The author shows that the characters can make strong friendships through character and plot development. The plot of this book is about the journey of discovering their own identities, and the journey starts because of the main characters friendships. Jonah, the main character, has been loved and cared for by his family his entire life and has never thought seriously about the fact that he is adopted until he gets two mysterious letters in the mail, both with no return address. Jonah thinks that these are just a prank letter, but his friend Chip gets panicked when he gets the same letters. Jonah finds out that Chip s parents had never told him that he was adopted as well. Jonah thinks He d never met Chip s dad, just seen him drive by. Jonah probably couldn t have picked Chip s dad out in a line up. However, right now Jonah wanted to stolk over to Chip s house, swing his best punch, and hit Chip s dad right in the mouth. (Peterson 35) Jonah feels angry towards Chip s parents because they refuse to tell him anything else about his adoption. Later Jonah says I swear, I ll do everything I can to help you. (Peterson 35) This quote suggests that Jonah cares deeply about his friend and wants to support him, and he promises he will do everything he can to help Chip. Jonah, Chip, and Jonah s younger sister, Katherine begin the journey to find the truth about their past. Their friendship pushes them into a wild adventure for seeking their identity. Unlike Chip s parents, Jonah s family always support him, especially Katherine, his younger sister. Jonah, Chip, and Katherine come to realize that they are missing children of history who were transported here to the 21st century in the form of an airplane. Even though Katherine is not one of the missing, Katherine continued to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Causes Of Crimes Against Humanity Essay We know crimes against humanity as a deliberate criminal act or acts that are typically part of a systematic campaign which causes human suffering or death on a large scale. The acts are an attack on human dignity where the crimes can be committed during times of war and peace. Offences that come under this category include murder, extermination, enslavement, deportation or forcible transfer of a population, imprisonment or other severe deprivation of physical liberty, torture, sexual violence, persecution against any identifiable group or collective, enforced disappearance of persons and other inhumane acts of a similar character and gravity1,2,3. I have decided to examine sexual violence and in particular the motivations behind such crimes that constitute as sexual violence; this encompasses crimes such as rape, sexual slavery, enforced prostitution, forced pregnancy, enforced sterilization, or any other form of sexual violence of comparable gravity1,2,3,. In particular I am going to examine sexual violence in reference to the conflict in former Yugoslavia, known as the Bosnian war. The Bosnian War of 1992 1995 was a major conflict that was seen to be politically and racially motivated between the Serbian s, Croatian s and Bosnian s. During this time the Serbian s were participating in an illegal conflict by being in violation of the Geneva conventions, customary laws, as well as committing odious offences that we know as crimes against humanity4. • 4. Martin Luther King Letter From Birmingham Essay In Dr. Martin Luther King Junior s Letter from Birmingham, he discusses that there are four basic steps to nonviolent campaigning. There is the collection of facts to determine whether injustices are alive; negotiation; self purification; and direct action. Civil disobedience and civil rights can be directly related to these steps and the process of a nonviolent campaign. Civil disobedience is defined as a form of political participation based on a conscious decision to break a law believed to be unjust and to suffer the consequences. (Edwards 647) Martin Luther King Jr. may be the best example of a civil rights activist. Dr. King came to the realization in his Letter from Birmingham that, Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed. Dr. King had found that injustices are alive through his own personal experience of segregation and discrimination. He was on his way to completing the first step in his own process of nonviolent campaigning. Specifically in Birmingham, there was vast unjust treatment of African ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Martin Luther King Jr discusses in his Letter from Birmingham that there are four basic steps to nonviolent campaigning. There is the collection of facts to determine whether injustices are alive; negotiation; self purification; and direct action. Dr. King himself exemplified this process while leading other civil rights activists. He was successful on many occasions, especially in his famous march from Selma to Montgomery. Nonviolent campaigning is a form of civil disobedience and can directly help retain, acquire, or reform civil liberties and civil rights. Nonviolent campaigning and other types of civil disobedience can also abolish unjust laws or practices (de jure and de facto). INTRODUCTION Harrisburg University currently has about 860 parking spaces on campus, located in 326 Market Street, open for general public parking 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and closed on Sunday and all major holidays. Parking is available 24 hours daily, 7 days a week including holidays for monthly parkers only. Parking garage rates varied depending on the duration of parking. A parking occupancy study which counted occupied parking spaces in and around the campus during a typical class day was conducted. It was found that a lot of the students utilized street parking as it was inexpensive; however, parked at their own risk. The purpose of this proposal is to document the existing campus parking supply and demand for parking spaces and to provide a recommendation for the number of parking spaces needed for students with the main objectives of improving location of parking so that it supports the university, safety of vehicle access, and the safety of the campus community, and improving parking management, reviewing current strategies and making improvements to management and methods of operations. 2. Kaiser Wilhelm II came to power in 1888 after Wilhelm I died and a brief reign from Frederick III, his behaviour could be unpredictable and although he was the grandson of Queen Victoria he was anti British, however he admired them at the same time. He believed in the divine right of kings, the theory claimed that, kings were only answerable to God, and it was sinful for their subjects to resist them. Wilhelm II was determined to exercise much more direct control over government than his grandfather, this was apparent in 1890 when Wilhelm disagreed with Bismarck s anti socialist policies, colonial expansion and relations with Russia, consequently Bismarck retired ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A reason why Bulow may have proposed to lower the tariff rate is because of the power the Social Democrats and Left Liberals held in the Reichstag as opposed to the Conservatives in 1902. Therefore, this meant that there would be no political backlash towards the Chancellor thus the Kaiser was less likely to force him to resign. Eventually, the tariff was lowered to pre 1982 levels, and was effectively a compromise between the Social Democrats, National Liberals and the Free Conservatives. This left the working class content; subsequently meaning they applied less pressure upon the government. Bulow s decision was backed up the following year by the election result where the Socialists gained 25 seats and the Conservatives lost 4 seats. This is an example of the declining influence of the Junkers, and more importantly an example of democracy. The Hottentot election was the name given to the election in 1907 and resulted after the Kaiser dissolved the Reichstag after they failed to support Bulow s government in their proposal of using more money to suppress the rebels in the Colony of German South West Africa and to compensate the white settlers. The government s election campaign was anti socialist, anti Catholic and Nationalistic. The result was that Social Democrat seats were halved, and right wing parties gained seats. As a result, Bulow bloc a coalition was formed which comprised of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It was established in 1927 and it is also one of the most visited museums in the United States. For this paper I was assigned to visit the Walker Art Center and choose one piece of art to write an essay about. It was my first time going to the Walker Art Center and I found myself in amazement with the all the artwork there. I examined many pieces and found the piece Do woman have to be naked to get into the Met. Museum ? By the Guerrilla girls the most compelling. I found this piece compelling because it was the only one that caught my eye since it was one of the few that represents feminism and equality for women and minorities. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... First of all I started with the subject matter of the artwork. What I saw the subject matter to be was the woman with the gorilla mask on because it is what catches the audience attention, and it was also the most detailed aspect in the artwork. The rest was is bolded words and blanket the woman lays on. The poster is also an example of postmodern art. Next, the medium of this artwork is screen printed on a poster. The Form of this image is huge. When I saw it at the Walker Center in the section of the Guerilla girls it was the biggest of them all. The others were fairly small and put next to each other but this one in particular was by itself and much bigger than the rest. The context about this poster is that you see a woman that is naked and she wears a gorilla mask which represents the guerrilla girls. She also covers her private parts to get the point across that is stated in bold letters that is also the title of the artwork which says Do woman have to be naked to get into the Met. Museum ? In other words, the naked woman s private parts being covered is not a coincidence but instead it is the artist s way of telling people how naked woman are often used in artwork and it s not fair. • 8. I Know The Lord Has Made This Possible For Me Thank you for this great opportunity to volunteer at Teen Challenge. I know the Lord has made this possible for me. Speaking of libraries, I have identified some factors that in my opinion can greatly enhance the use of the library by students and staff members. If I understand you correctly, your desire is for the library to be frequently visited by the students and staff of Teen Challenge. The challenge, in this case, is to establish a library that serves the needs of students and staff member of Teen Challenge. Teen Challenge is a very strong organization by God s grace with very high Christian, ethical and moral standards. Additionally, it has a space available that can be turned into a more than adequate reading and studying space. However, there are some factors that are by nature opposing the achievement of the goal of sustainability and frequent use of students and staff. Because of this, it is highly recommended that steps be considered in order to assure success for the present and the future of this very important project. Firstly, the designation of a librarian is vital for continuing the duties of managing collections (books, periodical, articles, newspapers, magazines, DVD, CD, etc.), program development; obtaining, analyzing and reporting the feedback from patrons. A successful library is one who is able to determine the needs of its patrons and satisfy those needs and wants by structuring operations accordingly. Secondly, a library is no longer a ... Taphonomy is described as the study of the stages of decomposition that lead to fossilization and it originates from a subsection of Forensic Anthropology. All over the world there are various taphonomic facilities, dedicated to the study of decay in both humans and animals, most notably pigs. These facilities are founded to help Scientists gain an understanding of how human decomposition progresses in various simulated conditions that are comparable to the conditions found at different crime scenes. Without him, the style of art now would most likely be more primitive and not as advanced as it should be. This is because he made many advances including more realistic painting. His most important paintings include The School Of Athens , the Sistine Madonna , and the Marriage of the Virgin . Not only are those some of his most famous paintings, they also show the realisticness that changed the world. Raffaello Sanzio had a very interesting young life. My choices for his most contributing paintings are The School of Athens, The Sistine Madonna, and The Marriage of The Virgin. They were just a few of the many amazing paintings that Raphael has painted. The School of Athens was possibly Raphael s most popular painting. It shows representations of many mathematicians, philosophers, and scientists of the Renaissance. Subscribe to this magazine to enhance and enrich your Bible teaching experience. The events in the Books of 1 and 2 Samuel took place in ancient Israel over a span of about 130 years, from the beginning of the eleventh century B.C. to the early part of the tenth century B.C. At that time the world s approximately 50 million{1} people lived in pre industrial societies; their lives centered on agricultural tasks they performed using primitive tools made mostly of wood and stone and some iron. The international scene Not all civilizations were equal; those situated in warm climates on fertile land near large rivers had significant advantages over those that lacked these, especially if they were surrounded by mountains or deserts. Such surroundings made an enemy s attack difficult. Cultural groups that possessed these favorable sets of circumstances were poised to be superpowers. Within the Old Testament world three different cultural groups had these ideal natural circumstances: Egypt, Assyria, and Babylon. Cadiz Biology Department, De La Salle University, 2401 Taft Ave, Manila, Philippines *Email: cadizpriscillamariel@yahoo.com Sexually transmitted disease is currently one of the major health concerns in the world today. Herpes simplex virus is one cause of STDs. There are two types of HSV present namely HSV 1 which is often found in the mouth area and HSV 2 found at the genitals. Indirect ELISA was used in order to determine the presence of Herpes simplex among 3 different samples. Indirect ELISA involves two antibodies; the primary antibody which is bound to the antigen and secondary antibody bound to the primary antibody. Results produced by indirect ELISA produces better amplified signal. Results obtained showed that 1 of the 3 samples tested positive for HSV. Indirect ELISA however cannot determine what specific type of HSV is present in the sample. The cause of HSV 1 is the exchange of body fluids particularly obtained through kissing while sexual contact causes HSV 2. Though it rarely happens, there are possibilities that false positive or false negative results were obtained in Indirect ELISA. Interference may cause error. 1. Addressing this issue poses a serious challenge for policy makers. How we choose to respond to the threat of global warming is not simply a political issue. It is also an economic issue and an ethical one. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, even for those who are less motivated by such moralistic calls to action, the fact remains that conservation is as much an economic issue as an ethical one. While economic considerations are a problematic feature of climate change policy, under the proper analysis, they also serve as an important motivator. Economic analysis that weighs all costs and benefits of a particular model must include environmental considerations. That is to say, the potential for short term economic losses caused by conservation in the present, should be measured against the dividends that conservation will pay in the future (Nordhaus, 2007). If the earth is truly our most valuable commodity, then analysis under these conditions should recognize that if a dollar value were placed on environmental sustainability, more often than not it would outweigh any initial monetary loss resultant of the implementation of more sustainable practices. Indeed, if we accept the danger of global warming to be a real and present one, then the question of how to address it must be given serious consideration. The extent to which the Lloyds Building is a modern success can definitely be questioned. One of the aims of locating the ugly serviceable components on the outside is that costs are saved on repairs because everything is accessible. However the cost of cleaning the external steel is so extortionate and frequent that the benefits are outweighed completely. Also, now that it is Grade 1 listed it means alternations are extremely hard to make. The whole point of the design was that the building could be changed and re ordered like Meccano. (1.1.254) Coriolanus assumes that he deserves unrequited honor and consequently treats any and all who contradict his intentions with the utmost disrespect. He is relentless and debasing in interactions with the plebeians, treats them as if they are animals, and considers them unworthy of respect. Attitude is learned, and Volumnia has been Coriolanus most influential teacher. While she insists that he be diplomatic and even fake when necessary, Coriolanus shows that he cannot selectively curb his attitude. It is difficult to say whether or not Coriolanus seeks fame on his own behalf is or does so on account of his mother s insistence. The first poem I am going to study is Valentine by Carol Ann Duffy. Duffy throughout the poem uses the onion as a metaphor for love and develops it in different ways to demonstrate parallels between the onion and love. In Valentine there is contradiction if Duffy is expressing feelings from a female perspective because usually a woman will receive a red rose , satin heart and a cute card or kissogram , therefore the persona probably conveys feelings from a male perspective. Which is a twist by Duffy, a persona who often had a feminist perspective. In addition Duffy once more has written a poem subject to controversy because there is negative attitude, a debate in the poem that normal valentines are not as honest this is evident on line eleven as a single line I am trying to be truthful . • 52. Important Parts Of A Cell Introduction The body is made up of billions and billions of cells that make up tissues that make up organs, which make up organ systems. Within those cells are organelles including but not limited to a nucleus, organelles, and cytosol. Cells are one of the most basic units of our bodies. With that being said, it is safe to say that cells are extremely important. There are many parts of a cell and many ways that a cell works. One of the most important parts of a cell is the plasma membrane. The plasma membrane is the outer surface of a cell, which is made up of things called phospholipids, which form a phospholipid bilayer. This bilayer is made up of phospholipids (75%), cholesterol (20%), and glycoproteins (5%). This bilayer is only possible due to the phospholipids being amphipathic (polar and non polar parts). Phospholipids are composed of a hydrophilic (water loving) head and 2 hydrophobic (water fearing) tails. The Plasma membrane separates the cell s internal environment from its external environment. It also plays a key role in communication among cells and between cells and their external environment, (Tortora 60). Many different proteins are located all throughout the plasma membrane. Some float around freely and others are stationary in specific locations. For example, integral proteins extend all the way through the lipid bilayer and go further into the interior of the cell. This makes them transmembrane proteins due to the fact that they go all the way ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
