10. Peer Learning Summits
Peer Learning Summits (PLS) are gatherings of countries and institutions, organized or
co-organized by the NAP Global Network to facilitate South-South peer learning and
exchange on the challenges and opportunities associated with NAP processes.
The NAP Global Network has hosted five Peer Learning Summits (three in-person and
two virtual) since 2018.

11. Objectives of the Peer Learning Summit (PLS)
Participants will:
• Better understand the foundation and
enabling factors for vertical integration in the
NAP process.
• Discuss the opportunities and challenges in
planning and implementing NAPs across levels
of governance and with consideration for
gender responsiveness and social inclusion.
• Identify concrete, relevant next steps towards a
more vertically integrated NAP process.
