This issue includes three unconventional articles in the marketing field resulting from a partnership with two events: the “International Social Networks Conference” (Isonec) held at Fundação Getulio Vargas, School of Business Administration of São Paulo (FGV EAESP), and organized by Professor Eliane Pereira Zamith Brito; and the “Marketing Meeting” (EMA) organized by the National Association of Postgraduation and Research in Administration (ANPAD).
RAE presents new articles that explores the relationship between humor and leadership effectiveness, happiness at work, multilevel academic productivism and sustainable human resource management. The Essay section presents a reflection about Marketing teaching and research, and the book recommendation section talks about the theme of health services management.
This edition presents articles based on qualitative and quantitative research that would hopefully enrich the reader’s experience. The section Perspective presents reflections of Roberto Patrus on “Social inequality and graduate studies in business Administration in Brazil: The role of evaluations,” and of Edson Guarido on “Social inequality, responsibility and responsiveness of research”. This issue concludes with a book review by Dennys Eduardo Rossetto and Felipe Mendes Borini on Jugaad innovation: Think frugal, be flexible, generate breakthrough growth, written by Navi Radjou, Jaideep Prabhu and Simone Ahuja; a book review by Reid Hoffman, Ben Casnocha and Chris Yeh on La alianza: Cómo gestionar el talento en la era de internet, written by María Carmen Sánchez-Sellero and Pedro Sánchez-Sellero; and the book recommendations “Cultural perspectives on the financial control of the economy and of the organizations” by Silvio Eduardo Alvarez Candido and “Epistemology of Management science” by Pedro Jaime.
Within the pluralistic approach of RAE, this edition presents articles from different areas of knowledge (Marketing, Finance, People Management, Organizational Studies, Entrepreneurship, Operations, and Logistics), as well as the Perspective section, in which Eduardo H. Diniz and Fábio Frezatti discuss the theme plagiarism in the Business Administration academic context. This issue is complemented by the review of the books Avaliação econômica de projetos sociais, by Naercio Menezes Filho, and Cultura do consumo: Fundamentos e formas contemporâneas by Isleide Arruda Fontenelle, and the book recommendation Governance & charity: The benefits of corporate governance and charity association by Grazielle Rigotti da Silva.
This yearbook contains summaries of research carried out by professors of FGV’s São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV-EAESP).
These texts provide an overview of the diversity and richness of reflections of the researchers at the institution. The texts also allow opportunities for future theoretical and practical developments to be identified.

This edition is composed of the following papers: “Blindness to sponsor: Application to sports event posters” by Manuel Alonso dos Santos, Ferran Calabuig Moreno, and
Manuel Jesús Sánchez-Franco; “New trends in corporate reporting: Information on carbon footprint in Spain” by Carmen Raquel Córdova, Ana Zorio-Grima, and María García-Benau; “Diversity of the board and capital structure” by Edelcio Koitiro Nisiyama and Wilson Toshiro Nakamura; and “The importance of brand attachment for adherence to causes of corporate social responsibility” by Annaysa Salvador
Muniz Kamiya, José Mauro da Costa Hernandez, Agnne Karoline S. Xavier, and Débora Beserra Ramos.
This article is a further expansion of the marketing 3.0 concept in the book by Philip Kotler, Hermawan Kartajaya, and Iwan Setiawan. Here I present a new conceptual model: i-marketing 3.0, which is about highlighting the importance of forging geographies of ‘collective individualism’ and ‘individual collectivism’ – influential offerings embedded in culture, with distinct yet fluid identities and personalities; which are intuitive, sharing, and accessible.

‘Being able to work in a global environment’, is a phrase that is now etched onto the job descriptions
of most marketers and enshrined in today’s strategy documents. Whether that’s a reality or an aspiration - either way it’s something that requires constant work and evaluation. In this article I’m going to share some of my recent thoughts and experiences.
Here are my seven suggested areas that you should evaluate:
1. Nation Branding and National Identity
2. Cultural Ethnicity and Religion
3. Innovation and Creativity
4. Education and Training
5. Balancing Standardization and Localization
6. Networks and Channel partners
7. Multi-layered messaging
Promoting multidimensional teams has a positive impact on business outcomes. Female presence in company's executive bodies is essential to build business projects that are successful and long-term oriented.
During the meeting held by Woman's Week foundation and the Association of Directors of Communication in Spain (Dircom), Chief Communication Officer and companies, committed to equal opportunities and diversity, professionals discussed about CSR regarding gender diversity.
We are indeed living a shift of paradigm where companies are more sensitive to the economic importance of their role as social actors and the strategic and integrated management of key intangible assets such as reputation, brand, communication or public issues. We are immersed in the so-called "reputation economy".
The main advantages of promoting diversity within the corporation are the greater capacity of attracting and retaining talent, improvement of leadership and innovation strategies and a closer approach to key stakeholders for the company. In fact, the main idea of the concept of diversity is to optimize human resources presented by heterogeneous groups, this is to say, diverse regarding the gender, age, race or nationality of their members.
We are making progress in integrating diverse teams in the organization, but we are still below the goal of 40 % female board managers in companies set out by the European Parliament and the European Commission.
This insight addresses the current situation and future leadership, where diversity will play a major role for sure.

This issue of RAE shows four new articles that speaks of different areas of Management, such as evaluation of Brazilian funds, entrepreneurial ecosystems, business-to-business marketing, voluntary disclosure. The Perspectives section presents two reflections, the first presents the current challenges and promising avenues for the field of entrepreneurship research, while the second text addresses the international innovation research agenda.
The edition also completes a review of creative leadership and a bibliographical indication of diversity, identity and inclusion.

Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
