The Anti-Romani Regime
Despite the past forced assimilation processes, the majority of the Roma remained illiterate, as well
as often excluded from various employment opportunities and dependent on petty theft or begging
up to World War II.
These conditions worsened in the Protectorate. Being an ethnic minority and, by national socialist
standards, classed as racially inferior, the Romani people were a clear target and part of the Third
Reich s goal to purge Europe of all impure races .
Hence, anti Romani propaganda and measures, which would finally turn into a genocide, started
soon after the establishment of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and continued throughout
the war.
On November 11th 1940, when approximately 6 540 Czech Roma were living in the Protectorate,

Liberalism Vs. Realism Essay
Liberalism vs. Realism
In a world where the drive for power and the will to dominate are held to be fundamental aspects of
human nature as the Classical Realists would argue, the necessity for International Organizations
cannot be dismissed as some liberalists argue. According to Iriye 2002, IGO s consists of
institutions that come into existence through formal agreements among nations and represent their
corresponding governments (Iriye 2002, Pg. 12 14). With that in mind, some liberalists argue that
joining international organizations and institutions like the United Nations socializes some leaders
so that their motivations are more benign (Dunne 2011, Pg. 103). I am convinced to a certain
extent with this idea as I feel that even though classical realists argue that every man has within
him the desire to rule or the desire for power (Dunne and Schmidt 2011, Pg. 90). When several
leaders come together all from different IR theoretical backgrounds (liberalists, realists,
constructivists) each decision they make comes collectively thus not leaving too much room for
their individual biases based on their theoretical perspectives to impact important international
relations issues negatively . Although I highly doubt if anything can be done to control the human
desire for power accumulation as a classical realist would say, a part of the psyche of man, I do
believe the liberalists argument to be of substance.
Because IGO s result in socialization, they also create a

Federal Bureau Of Investigations And The Central...
Abstract Upon analyzing 9/11 it was clear to focus on the limitations that the Federal Bureau of
Investigations and the Central Intelligence Agency had faced. Security breaches and poor
intelligence sharing were just some of the critical failures that were encountered. Moreover, the
main focus is pointed towards the miscommunication between these two agencies. Evidently, the
execution and tactical strategies went unnoticed despite the apparent red flags that presented
themselves, in addition to the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Central Intelligence Agency
failure to pursue threats and establish a baseline of security resulted in the disaster of 9/11. In

By disregarding cues of possible terrorist attacks and constant mistakes within the American
Intelligence for not planning ahead, the United States failed to achieve its number one goal as a
governing body: not keeping its citizens safe. It is important to dig into the issue of the disaster of 9
/11 and completely understand the reason for failed prevention efforts. Moreover adding to these
issues was the lack of communication and information shared between the two agencies, the Federal
Bureau of Investigations and Central Intelligence Agency.
When something tragic, devastating even happens, you remember exactly where you were, who
you were with, what you were doing, and how old you were when it happened. Whether you
want to remember it or not is out of your control. It is tattooed in your brain for good. The
moment everyone in America shares in common is September 11, 2001 when the World Trade
Centers were attacked by 19 al Qaeda terrorists. The entire nation went into an immediate state of
mourning and panic as they were discovering the victims of the attacks. Many often asked if there
was something that could have been done to maybe have prevented this from happening. Was there
something on the federal side that could have been done? What else went wrong other than a
blatant attack on the United States? When the United States was attacked on September 11, I was

Advantages Of Extreme Hotel Hacks That You Should Try
Awesome hotel hacks that you should try
Every one of us needs a break from their monotonous life once a while, don t you agree? What
better therapy than a holiday! With a beautiful holiday destination comes the need of booking
hotels. Some of these hotels eat up in your budget and you are forced to compromise on the stay.
Now, how good is a holiday with a compromise? Here are few hacks that can save you some bucks
and also give you a better deal and a comfortable stay.
Make a combo booking
There are many online travel booking sites that offer you a combination like booking a flight and a
hotel. Few sites offer booking of flight, cab as well as a hotel. There are different options and
ranges of flights and hotels that are available on these sites. Depending on the budget and luxury
you need, you can choose your booking. Usually making a combination booking cracks you a
better deal than booking separately. So why spend more ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Apart from the basic toiletries, breakfast and Wi Fi, sometimes the bookings made might have
hidden offers that you aren t aware of. This has happened to me before; I had free spa in my
booking and wasn t aware of it, till the end of my stay. It is always best to find out at the reception
about the complimentary items included in your booking and enjoy all that you can.
Apart from these, if you are just planning for a holiday with a budget constraint and flexibility of
dates, then you should plan your trips during the off season. The hotel rates are slashed to a great
extent and you might get a luxurious deal in your budget. Sometimes during season, a similar
chain of hotel might offer you a better rate than the one you are looking at. You can always ask
them if they are ready to match up to the other hotel. This usually works with hotels as they do not
want their business to go down because of their

A Report On The Harlem Hellfighters
The experience of a nondiscriminatory environment could have been shared with other African
Americans, which would have allowed for a model environment to work towards in the United
States. When the Harlem Hellfighters were turned over to the French Army, they helped to fight
off and repel the German offensive and to launch a counteroffensive. Alongside the French unit
primarily comprised of French Moroccans, the Harlem Hellfighters fought at Chateau Thierry
and Belleau Wood, spending about 191 days in combat, which was the longest duration of time
any American unit had spent in the field. . All told they spent 191 days in combat, longer than
any other American unit in the war. The Harlem Hellfighters were also the first American and
the first Allied unit to reach the Rhine. Colonel Hayward said the following about his Harlem
Hellfighters: My men never retire, they go forward or they die. In a letter to Emmett Scott,
Colonel Hayward also wrote the following about the Harlem Hellfighters: I have two battalions
in the trenches of the first line and the third in relief at rest just behind our trenches. The three
rotate. Our boys have had their baptism of fire. They have patrolled No Man s Land. They have
gone on raids and one of my lieutenants has been cited for a decoration...I am very proud of what

George Orwell’s Down and Out in Paris and London Essay
George Orwell s Down and Out in Paris and London Days without food, nights without shelter
and clothes without buttons are reality for homeless people around the world. Many are
incapable of escaping their poverty and can not seem to find a way out of their bleak
oppression. The few that do escape often help each other find a way to make their lives better
and do not forget how to maintain friendships. George Orwell s novel, Down and Out in Paris and
London, displays the ability of those in poverty to escape their horrific lot in life through
friendships and connections. The common goal of shelter and freedom from oppression bonds
many of the lower class. Many in poverty work together to find the best means to achieve their

Boris, Orwell s Russian acquaintance, is no better off than Orwell, but when Orwell and Boris
bond together, they are able to cope with poverty together. In fact, when Orwell locates Boris, he
is in such a weak and emotionally distressed state that Orwell, hurried downstairs and bought a
loaf of bread (28). Orwell, who already has very little money, shares what he has with Boris in an
attempt to support a fellow member of the lower class. After this incident Boris and Orwell are
allied in the search for jobs. In the quest for jobs, Boris and Orwell trek across Paris together to
apply for employment. Boris often hinders Orwell because of his limp that often prevents them
from finding occupations. However, Orwell does not leave his friend. Boris also uses his
connections to find jobs for both himself and Orwell. Neither Boris nor Orwell gives up, Oh, we

Atheism as a historical philosophy and its relevance in...
Disbelief in the existence of God is an enduring, worldwide phenomenon that is quite possibly also
one of the most misunderstood belief systems in the world. For many, the term atheism
immediately spurs negative imagery inspired by years of indoctrination churches proclaiming the
sins of the infidels, and how questioning Gods infinite love will result in instant damnation.
Atheists are perceived as dark, nihilistic, immoral, amoral, pessimistic, and even evil, because
without God, clearly they are also without morality and goodness. But if this disbelief is so
negative, why would nearly 1 billion people globally, and more than 16 percent of the American
population identify themselves as nonbelievers ? In fact, a survey published in... Show more content

Many of atheism s critics are quick to call the worldview invalid because they assume it wouldn t
exist without theism without the idea of the Divine. In fact, some even go so far as to say that
atheism is actually parasitic on religion. This is an incorrect statement. Without theism, the only
part of atheism that wouldn t exist is its name. Julian Baggini, the editor of The Philosophers
Magazine, weaves this analogy in his book Atheism:
In Scotland there is a deep lake called Loch Ness. Many people in Scotland almost certainly the
majority believe that the lake is like other lochs in the country. Their beliefs about the lake are
what we might call normal. But that is not to say they have no particular beliefs. It s just that the
beliefs they have are so ordinary that they do not require elucidation...However, some people
believe that the loch contains a strange creature, known as the Loch Ness Monster. Many claim
to have seen it, although no firm evidence of its existence has ever been presented. So far our
story is simple fact. Now imagine how the story could develop The number of believers in the
monster starts to grow. Soon, a word is coined to describe them: they are part mockingly called
Nessies . (Many names of religions started as mocking nicknames: Methodist, Quaker, and even
Christian all started out this way.) However,

The Role Of The Perfect Utopian Society In George Orwell s...
What makes a good life for individuals and what constitutes the perfect utopian society? These
are important questions for all humans living in the modern world and the answers to these
questions radically affect the way that we view how power should be used. In George Orwell s
Animal Farm, we see the animals come out from under Mr Jones power, they try to make the
perfect world but fail because someone is always going to have the strength or willpower to go one
step further than you can. In The Truman Show, directed by Peter Weir, we see Christof try to create
his idea of the perfect world so that at least one person, Truman Burbank, might be able to live a
good life. Both texts suggest that the good life is determined by the degree of freedom that they
have to choose their own destiny and this then affects what the perfect society looks like because
the perfect society would involve ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to live out what they
consider to be a good life. The problem with trying to create a perfect society is that there will
always be someone who uses their power to control others for the bad, not the good.
The capacity for an individual to live a good life is dependent upon the degree of freedom that they
have to choose their own destiny. In The Truman Show, Weir suggests that without freedom one
cannot be truly happy. Through Truman s life Christof stopped him from experiencing different
events throughout his life, he messed with Truman s emotions. In

The Topic Of Farming And Poverty
Writing commentary
I decided to write an article for the readers of a sophisticated scientific based magazine on the
topic of farming and poverty. As the problem of world hunger becomes more and more apparent
I wanted to write an article for what I believe is the solution to the problem. My aim was to
inform and persuade the readers to agree with my view that intensive farming is better than free
range farming. By all means, there were restrictions and bias to my argument, so in the end I
decided to make it a one sided piece. I intended my article for a more sophisticated audience who
will have at least some knowledge on the topic of poverty and farming. However, I knew that I
would cause disagreements with the readers as people have ... Show more content on

The reader may be convinced to think that the article is written by an expert on the subject, so, it
may encourage the reader to agree with me. However, my article argues strongly for one side of
the argument; my view is against those of the general public, most of which have a false belief
that free range products are better than intensive. Therefore, to support my point I included a
large photograph showing the vile conditions in a free range farm. Using this may help me to
get the reader on my side. I chose this specific picture because it demonstrates a wide variety of
senses; you can almost smell the overwhelming stench of the faeces and hear the deafening cluck
of a thousand chickens. The right side of the picture is very dark compared to the left, this could
suggest to the reader that there are dark sides to free range farming as well as the bright side that
is often advertised. The light at the end of the farm also makes the farm seem endless, and
therefore, it would seem as if there were millions of chickens all crammed into the cages. This
may encourage the reader to dislike free range farming and more likely to support my view.
I knew that the introduction had to be important; I tried to make it as engaging, appealing and
shocking as I could. In order to engage my readers, I started the article with two rhetorical question
asking the reader for their opinions on the picture. One of which is: What do you think this picture
shows? , the use of personal

Contributions Of Albert Einstein
Throughout the ancient times known as history, there have been many influential people. For,
example, individuals influence the world by protesting what is right, discovering something new, or
using their resources to help others with their generosity. Categorically, Albert Einstein is someone
who overshadows all the other influential people in the world. Albert Einsteinis influential because
of his accomplishments within all of his awards, his pivotal moments within his career, and his
contributions to society with his inventions.
Albert Einstein is influential because of his very many accomplishments. For example, according to

In relation to the differences in experimental, recreational, and being addicted to an illicit drug, I
would have to agree with Howard Beckers Becoming a Marijuana User, which he wrote in 1953.
As for the action of those in the category of experimental drug users, I believe that those are the
ones who have been aroused by some external factors, such as friends and/or media influences, as
to the high feelings that are associated with the effects of drugs, for the first time. Becker put it in
a better sensible notion when his study revealed: the process of learning to use and learning to

Self Motivation In Henley s Invictus And If
When people are faced with challenges in life they tend to deal with the problems in different
ways. The poems Invictus by William Ernest Henley and If by Rudyard Kipling both discuss the
hardship of lives and how to be resilient. In these poems the poet s tones represent that they were
going through times of struggle and need. Both Invictus and If address resiliency; however If
better demonstrates this concept better. The poem Invictus demonstrates resilience through the
concept of self motivation. Henley exhibits this when he states, I am the master of my fate, / I am
the captain of my soul (15 16). This quote is significant because the only thing that can control
who someone is and how they act is their morals which are decided through decisions. The author
proposes that he is able to get through challenges when he states, I thank whatever gods may be
/ For my unconquerable soul (3 4). This shows that Henley is confident that he can surpass any
challenges that he is faced with.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is shown in the poem when Kipling says, If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
/ Or walk with Kings nor lose the common touch (25 26). This talks about how no matter how
successful someone is in life to always remember those who got them there and to never become
cocky. When the author says this it helps portray this as one of his many recommendations to
achieve success. In the poem Kipling also states, If you can keep your head when all about you
/ Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, / If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, / But
make allowance for their doubting too (1 4). This helps describe the author showing encouragement
of resiliency by talking about when someone is being brought down by others and still keeping
their head high and doing the best they can

Raoul Wallenberg And The Holocaust
During the Holocaust, around 6 million Jews died of persecution from many groups of people.
But this number could have been much greater if it was not for the efforts of many courageous
people. There is not an exact number of how many people were saved during the Holocaust, but the
death toll would have been much larger if people, like Raoul Wallenberg, did not help. Raoul
Wallenberg was a Swedish businessman and diplomat who showed much moral courage by saving
countless Jews during World War II. Raoul Wallenberg was born on August 4, 1912 in Sweden
. He
was born into one of the richest families in Sweden, the Wallenbergs. Since his family was very
wealthy, he had the opportunity to attend college abroad in another continent. In 1931, Wallenberg
went to the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in the United States to study architecture. He
graduated in three and a half years with a bachelor s degree of Science in Architecture. This
bachelor s degree allowed him to come into contact with many Jews that had escaped from Europe
during the early years of persecution while he was working on architecture in Palestine (Raoul
Wallenberg). In June 1944, the War Refugee Board, or WRB, a U.S. established organization that
helped support rescue missions for Jews, recruited Wallenberg to lead their operations in Budapest,

Catalonia is a democracy, and in a democracy the citizens are allowed to share their voices. But on

Downtown Barcelona has been wild since this idea of splitting came about but there has been

Typical Client Obstacles
Some of the typical obstacles that interfere with to a client s ability to access service across local
agencies are lack of child care, physical disabilities, mental health problems, limited transportation
and low literacy.
Child Care Low income families normally include children, partly because of younger family
heads. Statically lower income families include more children on average than higher income
families. Therefore, lower income families commonly face costly child care (Kimmel, 2001).
Physical Disability / Mental Health Problems Mental health and physical health are connected.
Mental health effects a person s ability to maintain proper physical health. Many mental illnesses,
such as depression and anxiety will affect people s ability to full participate in health promoting
behaviors. On the other hand, problems with physical health, such as chronic diseases, can impact
mental health and decrease a person s ability to participate in treatment and recover (Lando,
Marshall Williams, Sturgis, Williams, 2006)
Limited Transportation Most low income households are lack the fund to keep up with the increase
of transportation costs. They must come up with various ways to get from point A to point B. Low
income families must decide between driving, get a ride, taking mass transit, biking, or even
walking. These

Life Isn T Fair, The Sooner You Learn That The Better

told her son that he was being rude and they wouldn t play with him anymore. She almost told
them to include him but she watched to see what would happen. Her son soon apologized and he

1) If life was fair, no one would be homeless, no one would have health issues, and there would be
no poor or rich. Raising children to believe that life is fair is setting them up for disappointment.
Parents can only protect their children for so long. Eventually, the child will have an unfair
experience that no one can change. The child needs to have the proper preparation for these
experiences. The way to prepare them is to allow them to have those experiences while they are
younger. Two men go to a job interview. One man has a lot more experience and knowledge than
the other, yet he doesn t get the job. This is an unfair occurrence but the man s mother couldn t

how we handle it. Protecting children from disappointment keeps them from learning how to pick

Challenges Business Operations Performance
CHALLENGES BUSINESS OPERATIONS PERFORMANCES FACE A business can only
seize extra ordinary opportunities if it only becomes good at the average ordinary operations.
How do you ensure your business profits are escalating even as you stay focused on achieving
revenue growth? At this point, excellence in business operations turns out to be grave. Operational
excellence is a philosophy principle in leadership, problem solving and teamwork that results in a
consistent improvements throughout the business as I focuses on the customers needs, employee
empowerment, and activity optimization along the process. Whenever people, systems and
processes in any business perfectly operate efficiently and productively, excellence is certain and
goals and priorities become achievable. This state should however be easy to achieve in such an
ordeal world. There a few barriers within the business can keep it from attaining operational
excellence namely: 1. Lack of Collaboration A business with well coordinated exercises that merges
discrete steps into joined effort will experience continues and sustainable improvements. This is
however a challenge if each organization s function acts independently without taking into account
where and how the rest of the functions can add up to their development plans. Operational
strategies would be easier to implement if only employees could collaborate and unite to construct
and act on a single plan with a general goal and clear accountability for

Reunion In The Great Gatsby Essay
How does Fitzgerald present Gatsby s and Daisy s reunion as initially awkward in chapter 5?
Fitzgerald presents Gatsby and Daisy s reunion as initially awkward, through having their
conversations be stilled and abstruse, with both characters whereby behaving in an embarrassed and
vague manner. Furthermore, Fitzgerald also represents their initially awkward reunion through
Nick, of who bares witness to their reconciliation and of who, also, attempts to dissolve the tension
between the pair. Moreover, Fitzgerald also presents the awkward reunion, through Gatsby s
panicked reaction to Daisy, distraught eyes stared down , and also, his clumsy behaviour,
whereupon he turned and caught it with trembling fingers . However, Daisy s change ... Show more

Gatsby s strong and almost sudden reaction to Daisy speaking, proposes that Fitzgerald is
attempting to use emotive language, as to show Gatsby s urgency to resume some form of bond
with Daisy. However, due to Gatsby s abrupt and hurried reaction, the atmosphere, once again,
becomes constrained and abrasive, this shown when Nick narrates that, the automotive quality of
Gatsby s answer set us all back for another minute .
The use of Nick describing that Gatsby had Distraught eyes , suggests that Fitzgerald is trying to
perpetuate that Gatsby is nervous and scared to be within Daisy s presence, after so long. The use
of prenotification in this text, suggests that Fitzgerald is trying to foreshadow future circumstances
between the pair, but also, suggests that Gatsby is worried about their disconnected relationship.
Fitzgerald also uses emotive language within this text, with using Distraught , as to preserve the
fact that Gatsby is anxious and scared. This also perpetuates the sense of awkwardness between the
pair, as Gatsby is seen as being Distraught and positioning himself in a frigid manner, head leaned
so far back leaning against the mantelpiece , and Daisy being frightened but graceful , suggests that
the pair are having comparatively similar thoughts on the situation.
Fitzgerald also proposes the awkward nature of their initial meeting, through having Nick

Children In Colombia
We all know that children are the future of this world. Because of this, we have to put serious
attention into how we educate them and how we treat them. Many countries have programs that
help children with education and free meals at school so that children can focus exclusively on their
studies. However, such was not the case for Colombian children during the past 5 years. Many
Colombian children died during this time due to problems with malnutrition.
According to humanium.org In 2011 about 45% of the population of Colombia live in poverty. The
most affect victims of this situation are children. Many children end up living on the street

Maslow s Hierarchy consists of five levels: Physiological needs, safety needs, love and
Belonging, Esteem, and Self actualization. Maslow believed that no level could be skipped and

level of Maslow s hierarchy is physiological needs. I, as a person, feel as though I have met all of
my needs. I have the comfort of a home thanks to my mother and brother, food on the table to
eat, a place to sleep and to call mine, of course air, and an unlimited supply of water. If I was

Oral Disease And Its Effects On The Health And Well Being...
Background
Oral health is a key component to overall health and well being for children. Although it is
preventable, tooth decay is the most common chronic childhood disease in the U.S., five times
more common than asthma. If left untreated, decay can lead to serious health issues that include
malnourishment, bacterial infections, and even surgery or hospitalization. Fortunately, using
fluoride and dental sealants when combined with good oral hygiene, nutrition, and regular dental
care can keep most mouths healthy. Oral health status and access to dental care for children in
Iowa is mostly very good. However disparities exist for certain populations in the state such as low

This is also true of all children, regardless of payment source for care. Older children are much
more likely to have had a dental visit in the previous year as shown.
Insurance Coverage
Although dental insurance is not as prevalent as medical insurance, coverage did improve from
2000 to 2005, and remained steady until 2010, similar to the trend for medical insurance. The
increase in the number of children receiving public insurance (Medicaid and hawk i) likely also
increased dental care access, since both programs cover a comprehensive list of dental services. In
contrast, many private health insurance policies have limited or no dental insurance benefits.
However, the higher unmet need for dental care indicates that the increase in insurance coverage
did not automatically translate into better access to dental care for lower income children.
School based sealant program data (children in grades 2 8) finds that 3 children in every 20 have
no payment source for dental care. The percent of children with untreated decay is high (18.6%)
and even higher for children on Medicaid (21.86%).
Having a regular source of care is an important characteristic of a dental home, as it is for a
medical home. Nine out of ten children had one main place that they went to receive their dental
care. CSHCN (97%), African American children (95%) and children with dental insurance (93%)
were most likely to report a regular source of dental care.

The Rational Way Of Life
The Rational Way of Life
Epictetus Stoic Recommendation of Freedom
Freedom is an arbitrary concept that has been and will always be limited. The notion of freedom is
possible among equals, however, equality itself is universally different. Arendt, a political theorist,
believes political freedom manifests through action, her reliance on the ability to act implies that
humans can tangibly live freely. Epictetus on the other hand, believes that all humans can be
internally free if they had a stoic mindset in their way of life. He believes that human beings are in
complete control of their happiness and should only worry about what they can control instead of
what they cannot. The revolutionary treasure is the original spirit of individual freedom that has
been lost through the principles of public freedom and public happiness. Freedom as Epictetus
defines is an internal condition that only we ourselves possess control over, his stoic
recommendation offers a simple yet rational approach of living life freely.
Public opinion suffocates the original spirit of the revolutionary treasure because public opinion
provokes a common opposition, thus killing true personal opinions of American citizens. Arendt
states that the Founding Fathers of America equated law based on public opinion with tyranny; in
this sense, democracy was to them a new form of despotism. Paradoxical as it may sound, it was in
fact under the impact of the Revolution that the revolutionary spirit in America

The Love Story Of The Notebook
For this module I chose the movie The Notebook. This movie is about a couple s love story. It
starts by Noah talking about his life and how he feels as if he has lived his life to the fullest with
no regrets. He also then states how he has loved another with all of his heart and how that has
always been enough for him. We then meet Noah s wife, Allie. His wife has dementia and has
forgotten almost everything. Noah takes the time to read Allie the same story every day, which
is their love and life story. As he begins to read the story he starts how they first met which was at
a carnival one night. Noah was persistent in getting Allie to go on a date with him and she was
hesitant at first. See Allie is from a very wealthy and well known family where as Noah is from
the opposite. However, that did not stop Noah. After their first date at the movies it really was
like love at first date. There was instant chemistry between the two and they became inseparable
from then on. With one night in particular Noah took Allie to an old abandon house where he
told her he was going to buy it one day and fix it up for Allie. One thing led to the next and as
they were about to make love, Fin ran in and said that Allies parents were looking for her and
even called the cops. As Allies parents did not approve of her relationship with Noah it ultimately
led to them breaking up right before Allie left for college in New York. Noah wrote to Allie every
day that first year she was gone, but Allies

Nietzsche s Influence On American Philosophy
An indisputable influential figure within modern thought is German philosopher Friedrich
Nietzsche, a polarizing thinker whose text Thus Spoke Zarathustra has garnered abundant acclaim
for its encapsulation of a shift within late nineteenth century Western thought. Nietzsche s personal
history significantly affected the development of his philosophyas exemplified through the rhetoric,
literary style and speeches found within Thus Spoke Zarathustra. This report will follow the origins
of Friedrich Nietzsche, the contextualization of his philosophical stances within his famed text, and
the profound influence of his literature in relation to late nineteenth century thought and beyond.
BACKGROUND

As we approach Nietzsche s philosophy within the text, we must first begin by adopting the
principle of the will to power as the fundamental drive of all things. The principle of the will to
power states that everything must obey something, and if one cannot obey oneself, one must obey
someone else. Those who can transcend and command themselves then, according to Nietzsche,
are the sole carriers of true freedom. The will to power for Nietzsche is not simply the desire for
power or even something that one could choose to have or not, but is rather a characteristic of
everything that lives. Such is observable through the human history of interaction but the will to
power must not only be applied to human beings since ideas like religion, morality, and truth are
also prevailing concepts that are all positioned in the alike struggle that dictates life. The question
is not whether one should have the will to power or not, but rather what quality of will to power
shall manifest. A negation of absolutes, then, is an observable theme throughout Thus Spoke
Zarathustra, as Nietzsche depicts our world and all within it as characterized by the constant
struggling and overcoming of prearranged influences. As we come to adopt this notion of our
world and being in a perpetual flux, we interpret Nietzsche s

With that in mind, it is apparent then that relying on the US for military assistance in the event of

Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets Essay
When people watch or think of their favorite movie, they don t usually sit and analyze the
underlying philosophical themes within them. However, in reality, understanding the philosophical
ideas is an important aspect if someone wants to perceive the movie as a whole. So why do
people not catch these important aspects within their favorite movies? There could be many
reasons, but the two most prominent are that the viewers lack philosophical knowledge or the
directors disguise these issues so well they re almost impossible to notice. One of my favorite
films, Harry Potterand the Chamber of Secrets, contains many hidden philosophical themes I never
detected in a multitude of previous viewings. Although the movie contains multiple philosophical
ideas, the most significantly recurring philosophical theme is that there is strength within a
community and in our relationships with others. Furthermore, it is important to understand that our
relationships with others can ultimately determine our choices.
Before analyzing the severity of this philosophical theme, it is necessary to have a basic
understanding of the overall plot of this movie. The movie begins with the protagonist, Harry Potter

Harry is visited by a house elf, Dobby. When Harry declines Dobby s warning to not return to

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Bv Vs Sky Tv
British Satellite Broadcasting VS Sky Television
Both the companies at the start go critically for the sake of having a good competition with each
other. BSB was the consortium established in 1986. It was given the exclusive license to be the
first UK s DBS channel operator. As the 1986 was the starting point so that proved critical enough
to BSB and therefore it suffered losses.
By getting a 15 years authority by IBA to commence its services on three DBS channels, all BSB
considered was a mega plan to take a start with 400,000 satellites in its first year s broadcasting and
2,000,000 in 1992, and 6,000,000 by 1995. But when it came to the reality, the table was turned

And by the merger these could also have been saved. Here, the merger is suggested as the best
solution because it has more advantages than the disadvantages. As another solution, we can also
see towards a scenario in which BSB could use the more sophisticated technology but with less
cost and with less other costs like depreciation, sub managing, satellites, advertising etc. and this all
would be possible only if it had the good management like its competitor, and BSB could have
changed wholly the nature of interaction if it had created some obstacles in the launch of the Sky
Television. But when we come to its after effects we see that there shall be definitely a reaction
caused by prevention of launching by the Sky Television and whereby the strict cold war between
them could get a start that would not be viable for both of the powers.
In 1990, BSB was enjoying the great market share but this all got tainted with the sudden arrival of
the Sky Television in the market. When both companies were in the market BSB was actually
losing the money mainly due to its high capital investment. SKY benefited a lot from the market
monopoly. Overall Sky had a dominant strategy but for BSB it was more complicated since the

to our still incomplete puzzle over the past 20 years so that we now have a nearly complete idea
of how our species Homo sapiens came to be. This story of our history includes dozens of species

Their side rows of teeth were in parallel lines and were heavily enameled which entails that they

Pennyrile s Weaknesses
Pennyrile District Health Department s website and intranet are ways to inform the public of
the services the organization provide. The state Department of Public Health and the Center of
Disease Control (CDC) has had a website for some time. These two organizations covered many
of the services that we provide on a basic level. In 2011, our organization started our own website
at PennyrileHealth.org. The website allowed us to provide more detail to our communities on all
the services we provide. Some of the services are required services that all health departments
across the state provide and some services are ones that are more centralized to what are
communities feel like they need. Along with the website we have pages on social media s Twitter

One of the weaknesses is that we have is we have not updated the website hardly at all since its
creation in 2011, and many things have changed. Therefore, if someone was to look at it they may
see incorrect information now. This is weakness is actually caused by another weakness, IT
personnel. In our organization, we contract out our IT issues with a third party company that does
not handle website updates. Therefore, unless we pay to have it outsourced myself or the Human
Resource Manager have been the ones responsible for it and with little time allotment between other
jobs the duty of website updates gets

Canada In The 1950 s And 1960s
The 1950s and 1960s were widely recognized as the second Golden Age after the 1920s.
However, it is questioned whether it really was a period of growth and stability for all the citizens
of Canada. Many French Canadians have brought up the question about if their rights and needs
were properly recognized by Canadaduring this time period. The needs of French Canadians were
met to an extent by Canada in the 1950s and 1960s because of the inclusion of their culture, the
economic standing of French Canadians, and the unification of Canada as a country.
First, the cultural needs of French Canadian citizens were recognized and worked towards in an
effort to sustain their culture. Canada included the language aspect of French Canadian culture ...

Through creating an accepting, unified nation, French Canadians were both more included and
accepted in the country. The introduction of the Canadian flag in the 1960s presented a new view
on French Canadian equality in Canada. Past Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson wanted to create
a national flag for Canada that could act as a unifying force of the country, leading to the
creation of the Maple Leaf flag, which is still used to represent Canada as a whole today. With
this request which was granted by Parliament in 1964 and by Queen Elizabeth II in 1965, French
Canadians became a more unified group along with the rest of Canada due to this new symbol
of the country that represented all of its citizens as a whole instead of only clusters of them.
Moreover, unity in Canada was improved through the Medical Care Act of 1996. This act
changed health care from a business for profit under private agencies into a service for the all of
the people of Canada, in addition to extending health care coverage for doctor services outside
hospitals for Canadians. With this act, the prospect of equality between the citizens of Canada,
including citizens of Quebec began to improve, which further promoted the idea that Canada and its
population should act as a more unified force with acceptance and inclusion between all of the
individuals in it. Thus, with the introduction of the national flag, as well as national health care in
Canada, French Canadians became a more respected, established group that was included in many
other rights and laws, showing their equality to and harmony with the rest of

Why Do Profit Organizations Offer Tax Deductions On...
The controversial debate about whether or not to offer tax deductions on charitable donations
continues to resurface in popularity as leaders propose novel ideas. It s a debate that takes into
account fundamentally different charitable organizations, their size, and varying donor income.
Choosing a size is often a matter of perspective. Nonetheless, a comprehensive analysis of this
debate how much nonprofit organizations and society stand to lose with the end of tax deductions
being offered to donor. This will especially concern the 66.4 percent of smaller registered
charitable organizations whose combined expenses make up only 1.8 percent of the category, and

nonprofit sector (source). This significant decrease will impede smaller nonprofits in fulfilling their

Cultural Imperialism And The United States
During my time in Guatemala, I believe that the social issues I came in the most contact with were
hegemony and cultural imperialism, or in other words, the influence the United States has over
Guatemala. No matter where I was, whether it be the streets of the small town of San Miguel or
the larger, more developed city of GuatemalaCity, I could not help but notice how much of an
impact the United Stateshas. Throughout the course of a month we learned a lot about the root
causes of poverty America as a hegemon through both readings and discussion. The footprint the
U.S. has left in Guatemala was apparent not only while reading and learning about the history of
Latin America, but while visiting the country itself. In addition, we had the... Show more content on

As you walk or drive through Guatemala, you are sure to see countless billboards, much like in
the U.S. Being from the U.S., this seems completely normal. The signs even looked very similar.
When I took a closer look at the signs, I noticed why they looked so similar. There were
American models on the signs. In particular, I noticed a blonde haired woman on the front of a
billboard advertising shampoo. I also noticed American women on billboards advertising jeans
and beer. When looking into bars I saw calendars with American women as well. It was impossible
not to notice the influence that the U.S. had not only on methods of advertising, but also on the
images used. In addition to noticing the U.S. hegemon while on the streets of Guatemala, I also
noticed it while living with the people. While staying with host families, we were given the
opportunity to take in an entirely different culture or so we thought. Even though living amongst
Guatemalans was a very new experience, it was also very evident that the U.S. had impacted the
traditional Guatemalan way of life. The first thing that I noticed while living with my host family
was the way they dressed. My host parents wore what can be considered as traditional clothing.
They had not let any outside influence impact their decision in clothing. However, my host siblings

Analysis Of The TED Talk Txtng Is Killing Language
The first text message was sent 25 years ago, on December 3, 2017, another leap forward in
communications technology. Texting, like the fax, email, or instant messages allowed people to
communicate nearly instantaneously through writing. As texting and other forms of instant
messaging have developed, so have new ways to abbreviate words used throughout instant
communication. These abbreviations feature phrases like, LOL which is laughing out loud,
THNX which is thanks, and BRB which is be right back. The essay, Texting by David Crystal
defines several texting abbreviations, and describes why someone might uses texting
abbreviations, or textspeak as he calls it, as well as the issues that can arise from using textspeak
(241 246). Another essay, r u online? : The Evolving Lexicon of Wired Teens, details how teens
today are using instant messagingas their main form of communication, and expresses concern for
the consequences of being able to talk to anyone, anywhere at an instantaneous rate (247 249).
Finally, the TED Talk Txtng is Killing Language. JK!!! by John McWhorter, emphasizes that many
of the fears concerning the effects of texting on language are unfounded (00:00:00 00:13:48). Due
to the new abbreviations, and the lack of emphasis on full sentences or proper grammar, many
people have concerns that texting and instant messaging are having an adverse effect on the English

Women In Major League Baseball
Major League Baseball is a baseball league exclusively for men, but there is a lack of diversity
inside a lot of the baseball team organizations there is a lack of women in the front offices. The
Chicago Cubs has never had a woman as vice president but they do have woman, Laura Ricketts,
as a co owner of the team. The Cubs haven t won a world series in a very long time and I feel for
them to become a contender, they must start by reassembling their front office staff. I personally

getting more people to support the organization and be apart of the team. I always noticed that a
lot of women are good at organizing and designing whether it is an office or business, so I feel

Max Weber s Protestant Ethic And The Spirit Of Capitalism
Max Weber s the protestant ethic and the spirit of capitalism is one of the most debated and
discussed pieces of sociological work, both in the years following its publication and in
contemporary sociology classrooms and academia. The main focus of the work surrounds how a
change in religion in certain areas during the protestant reformationcreated the spirit of capitalism
which then took on a life of its own. A summary of the protestant ethic and the spirit of capitalism
will be included later in this essay as it is important to detail what Weber was intending when he
published this work. There are misconceptions about Weber s work which Weber attempted to limit

Weber uses a piece of writing by Benjamin Franklin which discusses how people should act towards
credit, money, debt in an attempt to show that Franklin was suggesting that people should be
attempting to gain wealth as a personal duty. Weber continues by clarifying that capitalism did not
originate from the Protestant Reformation and that capitalism has been viewed in societies ranging
from India, Asia and the Middle East but they lacked what Weber called the spirit of capitalism
shown in the time frame which he was looking at. Weber defines and discusses the change in
economic systems from economic traditionalism to capitalism. Weber thought that religion was not
the driving force in the rise of capitalism but had a greater impact in bringing about the change from
economic traditionalism to capitalism. Weber also discusses one of the unintended consequences of
the reformation which was the rise in rationalization in society brought about by the change in
dominate religion.
(Weber, 1905, 8 28)
The idea of a calling within Lutherism is discussed as it furthers Weber s ideas about how the
reformation brought about a new attitude towards work and play. The calling within Lutherism
revolves around peoples work and business and how that relates to their religious beliefs. Weber
does however say that Lutherism was not as important to his argument as Calvinism.

Descriptive Essay About Trail Riding
Do you ever have a dream where you re falling, and it feels so real that your body wakes you up?
Well this was not a dream. I was falling, and there was no bed for me to wake up in.
Growing up I was always around horses. My mom got into horses as a teenager, and they never
left her heart. The minute I was born I was put up in the saddle. Where most families would bond
by going swimming, hiking, or to watch a movie, my family bonded by going horseback riding.
(Or as we call it, trail riding.) The first horse I remember riding was a beautiful mare (girl horse)
named Angel. She was a sweet old white quarter horse who took care of everyone who rode her.
I went on many trail rides with her and when she passed away I learned at the early age of six
that people s deaths aren t the only deaths we morn. Eventually I moved on and started riding a
new horse whose name was Tanka.
Tanka was a stubborn and sassy sorrel mare. I really didn t ride her on my own because she
probably would ve taken advantage of me being a beginner. Since I couldn t ride her on my own
my sister Lisa usually rode along on Tanka while I sat behind the saddle, holding on to the edge of
it for dear life. One cloudy mid September day my mom decided we should go on a trail ride. Since
we didn t have enough horses for everyone who wanted to come on the ride, my mom came up
with a plan.
She planned that me, Lisa, and my mom s friend Lori should ride down the road to meet my mom
and her other friends at their house

Analyzing The Code Of Ethics In The Workplace
There is an ethical belief that housing is a human right and that there is nothing that a person can
do that relinquishes his or her rights to deserve safe, stable housing (Chernega and George,
2014). We have homes to go to, homeless people do not; even if they have a roof over their head,
they will usually have little privacy and not right of permanent residence (Timms and Borrell,
2014). A code of ethics(COE) displays common values within organizational settings. In addition,
the code of ethics (EOC) does not dictate its rules to an organization. The domain stands as a
universal outcome for each and everyone in the word setting. The CEO in this setting is intended
to offer a better life to some of the homeless in the streets, who dreamed... Show more content on

General Electric and IASIS Healthcare are two different industries. Thus, their code of ethics

Personal commitment remains a significant aspect in employment. The employer may force
workers to do well providing the necessary tools to do the job, if the employee is not committed
the job, there is nothing employers can do to fix the issue. Complying with laws and ethics code

complying with the laws. General Capital focuses on penalty for violation, while IASIS Healthcare

How to Get a Better Grade in College in the Book, The A...
I ve read a book called The A Game by prof. Kenneth J. Sufka. The book is about steps and advices
to get a better grade in college. It is a very useful book to help you to succeed in your college life.
The book includes nine rules, such as never sit in the cheap seats, come to class prepared, get
spaced out, and go to classalways. Also, it shows the bad habits that students usually do and how
they can change these habits, so the author called it a game changer. I think rule #1, which is
come to class always, is related to me, so I will explain it, give an example, and clarify how the
game changer can affect student. Number one rule in the book is go to class always. Many

If the student attended the classes from the beginning of the semester, she wouldn t get in this
trouble. The author mentions in each rule a game changer. It is the ways that can students
change their bad habits. It is also the reasons why students should follow the rules in the book.
The game changer for rule number one are two. First of all, there is no substitute for your own
lectures notes. Even if students are not good note takers, they should attend the class. Each
student attends with his own background information and his own organization style, so he will
suffer a lot when he tries to use his friends lectures notes. Secondly, each class period is a
learning session. Students understand the lecture more if they attend the class even if they are
not good at note taking. Also, they will get higher grade because they didn t miss these learning
sessions. If a student missed a whole week of class, that mean he missed three hours of learning
sessions. That will affect his grade and his understanding of the course. The author adds that you
can only miss classes for three reasons. First, if the student suffers from a disease that could kill
him. Second, if the student have to donate a vital organ, e.g. kidney to save another person. Third,
if the student wife is giving a birth because wives need their husbands at this time. These are the
only excuses to skip classes. In the end of the book, the author

The Anti-Romani Regime Despite the past forced assimilation processes, the majority of the Roma remained illiterate, as well as often excluded from various employment opportunities and dependent on petty theft or begging up to World War II. Being an ethnic minority and, by national socialist standards, classed as racially inferior, the Romani people were a clear target and part of the Third Reich s goal to purge Europe of all impure races . Hence, anti Romani propaganda and measures, which would finally turn into a genocide, started soon after the establishment of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and continued throughout the war. • 4. Liberalism Vs. Realism Essay Liberalism vs. Realism In a world where the drive for power and the will to dominate are held to be fundamental aspects of human nature as the Classical Realists would argue, the necessity for International Organizations cannot be dismissed as some liberalists argue. According to Iriye 2002, IGO s consists of institutions that come into existence through formal agreements among nations and represent their corresponding governments (Iriye 2002, Pg. 12 14). With that in mind, some liberalists argue that joining international organizations and institutions like the United Nations socializes some leaders so that their motivations are more benign (Dunne 2011, Pg. 103). I am convinced to a certain extent with this idea as I feel that even though classical realists argue that every man has within him the desire to rule or the desire for power (Dunne and Schmidt 2011, Pg. 90). When several leaders come together all from different IR theoretical backgrounds (liberalists, realists, constructivists) each decision they make comes collectively thus not leaving too much room for their individual biases based on their theoretical perspectives to impact important international relations issues negatively . Although I highly doubt if anything can be done to control the human desire for power accumulation as a classical realist would say, a part of the psyche of man, I do believe the liberalists argument to be of substance. Because IGO s result in socialization, they also create a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 12. Atheism as a historical philosophy and its relevance in... Disbelief in the existence of God is an enduring, worldwide phenomenon that is quite possibly also one of the most misunderstood belief systems in the world. For many, the term atheism immediately spurs negative imagery inspired by years of indoctrination churches proclaiming the sins of the infidels, and how questioning Gods infinite love will result in instant damnation. Atheists are perceived as dark, nihilistic, immoral, amoral, pessimistic, and even evil, because without God, clearly they are also without morality and goodness. But if this disbelief is so negative, why would nearly 1 billion people globally, and more than 16 percent of the American population identify themselves as nonbelievers ? In fact, a survey published in... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Many of atheism s critics are quick to call the worldview invalid because they assume it wouldn t exist without theism without the idea of the Divine. In fact, some even go so far as to say that atheism is actually parasitic on religion. This is an incorrect statement. Without theism, the only part of atheism that wouldn t exist is its name. Julian Baggini, the editor of The Philosophers Magazine, weaves this analogy in his book Atheism: In Scotland there is a deep lake called Loch Ness. Many people in Scotland almost certainly the majority believe that the lake is like other lochs in the country. Their beliefs about the lake are what we might call normal. But that is not to say they have no particular beliefs. It s just that the beliefs they have are so ordinary that they do not require elucidation...However, some people believe that the loch contains a strange creature, known as the Loch Ness Monster. • 13. The Role Of The Perfect Utopian Society In George Orwell s... What makes a good life for individuals and what constitutes the perfect utopian society? These are important questions for all humans living in the modern world and the answers to these questions radically affect the way that we view how power should be used. In George Orwell s Animal Farm, we see the animals come out from under Mr Jones power, they try to make the perfect world but fail because someone is always going to have the strength or willpower to go one step further than you can. In The Truman Show, directed by Peter Weir, we see Christof try to create his idea of the perfect world so that at least one person, Truman Burbank, might be able to live a good life. Both texts suggest that the good life is determined by the degree of freedom that they have to choose their own destiny and this then affects what the perfect society looks like because the perfect society would involve ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to live out what they consider to be a good life. The problem with trying to create a perfect society is that there will always be someone who uses their power to control others for the bad, not the good. The capacity for an individual to live a good life is dependent upon the degree of freedom that they have to choose their own destiny. In The Truman Show, Weir suggests that without freedom one cannot be truly happy. Through Truman s life Christof stopped him from experiencing different events throughout his life, he messed with Truman s emotions. In ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 14. The Topic Of Farming And Poverty Writing commentary I decided to write an article for the readers of a sophisticated scientific based magazine on the topic of farming and poverty. As the problem of world hunger becomes more and more apparent I wanted to write an article for what I believe is the solution to the problem. My aim was to inform and persuade the readers to agree with my view that intensive farming is better than free range farming. By all means, there were restrictions and bias to my argument, so in the end I decided to make it a one sided piece. I intended my article for a more sophisticated audience who will have at least some knowledge on the topic of poverty and farming. The reader may be convinced to think that the article is written by an expert on the subject, so, it may encourage the reader to agree with me. However, my article argues strongly for one side of the argument; my view is against those of the general public, most of which have a false belief that free range products are better than intensive. Therefore, to support my point I included a large photograph showing the vile conditions in a free range farm. Using this may help me to get the reader on my side. I chose this specific picture because it demonstrates a wide variety of senses; you can almost smell the overwhelming stench of the faeces and hear the deafening cluck of a thousand chickens. The right side of the picture is very dark compared to the left, this could suggest to the reader that there are dark sides to free range farming as well as the bright side that is often advertised. The light at the end of the farm also makes the farm seem endless, and therefore, it would seem as if there were millions of chickens all crammed into the cages. This may encourage the reader to dislike free range farming and more likely to support my view. I knew that the introduction had to be important; I tried to make it as engaging, appealing and shocking as I could. In order to engage my readers, I started the article with two rhetorical question asking the reader for their opinions on the picture. One of which is: What do you think this picture shows? , the use of personal ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The poems Invictus by William Ernest Henley and If by Rudyard Kipling both discuss the hardship of lives and how to be resilient. In these poems the poet s tones represent that they were going through times of struggle and need. Both Invictus and If address resiliency; however If better demonstrates this concept better. The poem Invictus demonstrates resilience through the concept of self motivation. Henley exhibits this when he states, I am the master of my fate, / I am the captain of my soul (15 16). This quote is significant because the only thing that can control who someone is and how they act is their morals which are decided through decisions. But this number could have been much greater if it was not for the efforts of many courageous people. There is not an exact number of how many people were saved during the Holocaust, but the death toll would have been much larger if people, like Raoul Wallenberg, did not help. Raoul Wallenberg was a Swedish businessman and diplomat who showed much moral courage by saving countless Jews during World War II. Raoul Wallenberg was born on August 4, 1912 in Sweden . He was born into one of the richest families in Sweden, the Wallenbergs. Since his family was very wealthy, he had the opportunity to attend college abroad in another continent. In 1931, Wallenberg went to the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in the United States to study architecture. He graduated in three and a half years with a bachelor s degree of Science in Architecture. This bachelor s degree allowed him to come into contact with many Jews that had escaped from Europe during the early years of persecution while he was working on architecture in Palestine (Raoul Wallenberg). In June 1944, the War Refugee Board, or WRB, a U.S. established organization that helped support rescue missions for Jews, recruited Wallenberg to lead their operations in Budapest, Hungary. Raising children to believe that life is fair is setting them up for disappointment. Parents can only protect their children for so long. The notion of freedom is possible among equals, however, equality itself is universally different. Arendt, a political theorist, believes political freedom manifests through action, her reliance on the ability to act implies that humans can tangibly live freely. Epictetus on the other hand, believes that all humans can be internally free if they had a stoic mindset in their way of life. The revolutionary treasure is the original spirit of individual freedom that has been lost through the principles of public freedom and public happiness. Freedom as Epictetus defines is an internal condition that only we ourselves possess control over, his stoic recommendation offers a simple yet rational approach of living life freely. Public opinion suffocates the original spirit of the revolutionary treasure because public opinion provokes a common opposition, thus killing true personal opinions of American citizens. Those who can transcend and command themselves then, according to Nietzsche, are the sole carriers of true freedom. The will to power for Nietzsche is not simply the desire for power or even something that one could choose to have or not, but is rather a characteristic of everything that lives. Such is observable through the human history of interaction but the will to power must not only be applied to human beings since ideas like religion, morality, and truth are also prevailing concepts that are all positioned in the alike struggle that dictates life. The question is not whether one should have the will to power or not, but rather what quality of will to power shall manifest. A negation of absolutes, then, is an observable theme throughout Thus Spoke Zarathustra, as Nietzsche depicts our world and all within it as characterized by the constant struggling and overcoming of prearranged influences. However, in reality, understanding the philosophical ideas is an important aspect if someone wants to perceive the movie as a whole. So why do people not catch these important aspects within their favorite movies? There could be many reasons, but the two most prominent are that the viewers lack philosophical knowledge or the directors disguise these issues so well they re almost impossible to notice. One of my favorite films, Harry Potterand the Chamber of Secrets, contains many hidden philosophical themes I never detected in a multitude of previous viewings. Although the movie contains multiple philosophical ideas, the most significantly recurring philosophical theme is that there is strength within a community and in our relationships with others. Furthermore, it is important to understand that our relationships with others can ultimately determine our choices. Before analyzing the severity of this philosophical theme, it is necessary to have a basic understanding of the overall plot of this movie. The movie begins with the protagonist, Harry Potter , spending a dreadful summer with his only surviving family, the Dursleys. During a dinner party, Harry is visited by a house elf, Dobby. When Harry declines Dobby s warning to not return to Hogwarts, he turns the dinner into a disaster. The enraged Dursley s lock Harry in his ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

As the 1986 was the starting point so that proved critical enough to BSB and therefore it suffered losses. By getting a 15 years authority by IBA to commence its services on three DBS channels, all BSB considered was a mega plan to take a start with 400,000 satellites in its first year s broadcasting and 2,000,000 in 1992, and 6,000,000 by 1995. And by the merger these could also have been saved. Here, the merger is suggested as the best solution because it has more advantages than the disadvantages. As another solution, we can also see towards a scenario in which BSB could use the more sophisticated technology but with less cost and with less other costs like depreciation, sub managing, satellites, advertising etc. and this all would be possible only if it had the good management like its competitor, and BSB could have changed wholly the nature of interaction if it had created some obstacles in the launch of the Sky Television. But when we come to its after effects we see that there shall be definitely a reaction caused by prevention of launching by the Sky Television and whereby the strict cold war between them could get a start that would not be viable for both of the powers. In 1990, BSB was enjoying the great market share but this all got tainted with the sudden arrival of the Sky Television in the market. When both companies were in the market BSB was actually losing the money mainly due to its high capital investment. SKY benefited a lot from the market monopoly. The introduction of the Canadian flag in the 1960s presented a new view on French Canadian equality in Canada. Past Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson wanted to create a national flag for Canada that could act as a unifying force of the country, leading to the creation of the Maple Leaf flag, which is still used to represent Canada as a whole today. With this request which was granted by Parliament in 1964 and by Queen Elizabeth II in 1965, French Canadians became a more unified group along with the rest of Canada due to this new symbol of the country that represented all of its citizens as a whole instead of only clusters of them. Moreover, unity in Canada was improved through the Medical Care Act of 1996. This act changed health care from a business for profit under private agencies into a service for the all of the people of Canada, in addition to extending health care coverage for doctor services outside hospitals for Canadians. With this act, the prospect of equality between the citizens of Canada, including citizens of Quebec began to improve, which further promoted the idea that Canada and its population should act as a more unified force with acceptance and inclusion between all of the individuals in it. Second, if the student have to donate a vital organ, e.g. kidney to save another person. Third, if the student wife is giving a birth because wives need their husbands at this time.
