need to be performed. To fulfill such requirements of video compression a parallel
computational algorithm can be implemented. In this thesis, the parallelism of multi
core architecture was exploited using block matching algorithm. The test
implementation of the algorithm was done on MATLAB. The parallel model was
designed using OpenMP and its implementation was tested on multi core
architectures. The parallel implementation divides a current frame into independent
macro blocks and each block is allotted to OpenMP section which then assigns it to a
thread for performing the computations. The result of the implementation shows
speedier computations with effective utilization of multi cores. This work suggests a

MINORITY REPORT A comparison between the movies Minority report and The
Martian demonstrates how both movies differ and what makes it significant on its
own. Minority report is a movie that is based on the year 2054. It is mainly about a
special unit of the police department called Precrime. Precrime is a department that
arrests murderers before they can commit the actual crime. The heart and brain of
precrime was based on the visions of the three precogs who were used to stop murder
before it happens and whose prophesies about the future events are never wrong. In

In the martian, Mark said I m not gonna die here...None of these matter if I don t

My Goals For My Internship
My goals for the start for my internship were simple, but quickly evolved. My goals
were to gain experience and build my resume, while bringing the lessons I have
learnt in college, and using my skills as an engineer to help the department of
