The Royal Shakespeare Company provides extensive education and outreach programs. They offer workshops for students from early childhood through undergraduate levels, as well as resources for teachers. Their associate schools program connects them to many schools across England. Each year they hold a playmaking festival for schools nationwide. In 2023 they will celebrate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's first folio publication with participating schools. They also have a scheme called ‘The RSC Key’ a membership

When it comes to education and outreach programmes the RSC
doesn’t fail to show it. From, workshops from Key Stage 1 to
undergraduate for students & teacher resources to teacher
professional development for teachers.
They have an associate school's programme which is used to connect
to many schools and theatre throughout England.
Every year they also have a playmaking festival for schools and

Council Of England) but they are also funded by fundraiser, and
anyone they are partnered with also, They also receive
donations from audiences. A patrons is also made for them to
get donations through that.
FUN FACT: The RSC was given a loan of £19.4 million due to the
impact of Covid-19 making an 86% loss of income in theatre🎭

WORK?
• The amount of inclusiveness they provide for both
students and teachers
• How they managed to recover after the pandemic
• It surprised me finding out that this year (2023)
was the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare first
folio, and I find it cool it lasted that long and
probably longer in the future
