Consiste en un cabezal fijo que sujeta la pieza a torner y una herramienta de corte que gira a alta velocidad para ir eliminando material de la pieza hasta darle la forma deseada. Existen diferentes tipos de tornos para realizar operaciones de torneado exterior e interior.

An overview of case law, articles and key findings as to how electronic discovery in U.S. legal system is affected by the rise of Snapchat, WhatsApp and other mobile messaging apps in the face of the pending update to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. This presentation was originally prepared for the ATINER 2015 International Conference on Law in Athens, Greece. These revised slides were used during a Brown Bag talk to the Department of Human-Centered Computing, School of Informatics and Computing, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
Total parenteral nutrition (TPN) involves providing all nutritional requirements intravenously without using the gastrointestinal tract. TPN is used as primary therapy for conditions like short bowel syndrome and liver failure or as supportive therapy for prolonged ileus or weight loss before surgery. Peripheral TPN is suitable for short term use up to 2 weeks while central access is preferred for long term TPN. Complications of TPN include mechanical issues, metabolic disturbances like hyperglycemia, infections, and liver dysfunction from long term use. Proper administration and monitoring can help prevent complications like refeeding syndrome during TPN.
