This document discusses co-creation of value with customers. It begins by noting that consumers now have more choices but less satisfaction due to being more connected, informed and active. This shifts the role of the customer from passive to active. The document then provides examples of how customers now have more information access, a global view, greater networking abilities, and opportunities for experimentation and activism. It argues that value is now co-created between firms and customers through dialogue, access, risk assessment, and transparency. It provides the example of a houseboat manufacturer that engages in intensive co-creation with customers through design discussions, manufacturing access, and community involvement.

Jo Pisani argues that while the consumer healthcare industry is interested in mHealth, it has yet to fully invest and utilize mobile technologies to transform healthcare delivery. Pisani notes that companies like Apple, Google, and Samsung have the skills and brands to quickly develop digital health apps, and consumers are willing to receive healthcare services from these non-traditional providers. Pisani warns consumer healthcare firms need to quickly understand how mHealth can grow their businesses, otherwise they may miss opportunities. Pisani suggests mHealth could widen the scope of consumer healthcare by helping consumers better manage chronic conditions with tools that link them to pharmacists.

Remote user research & usability methods to gather important insights fastAnna Iurchenko
Presentation for UX Strategies Summit 2015 in San Francisco.
User research is a reliable way to answer important product questions. It allows gaining insights into customers' lives, identifying opportunities for your product, ensuring its viability and focusing efforts on areas of the greatest need. In the real world, budgets and schedules are constrained and your users are geographically dispersed. As such, a remote user study is a great solution that allows teams to answer questions and make important decisions about products quickly.
One of the challenges with user studies is figuring out the best way to integrate them into your Agile processes and communicate well with a development team. User research should be a collaborative effort of all team members in order to achieve the shortest learning cycle and achieve company-wide goals. Anna will cover different ways her team is sharing test findings and keeping information flowing between departments.

A short market review and summary on how the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector can use the mobile platform as their new channel of communication towards their target groups: physicians, patients, hospitals, pharmacies, etc
Explore the Top Trends in mHealth App Development.Techugo
mHealth is a mobile app that supports actual medical practices. MHealth apps are often targeted at patients. Fitbit, and Google Fit are some of the most popular mHealth options.
DOCSMART through its technology has succeeded in making the entire healthcare sphere digitized. This has helped clients connect digitally and with ease. Telemedicine is the future of Indian health care in India, connecting each and every vertical of health, and DOCSMART is a key role player in this initiative. “When we talk of the Healthcare ecosystem, we mean an integration of all verticals of health be it; Patients, doctors, pharmacy, diagnostics, blood banks, hospitals, vendors, and more. By integration we mean an interaction among all the verticals in real time”, highlights Dr. Deepak Baid.
With an attempt to make DOCSMART a safe space for patients and healthcare professionals to interact, the platform comes with the concept of Red Flags and Black Flags. Throwing more light on this, Dr. Deepak says, “Healthcare today is faced with many challenges. Patients and relatives often tend to get abusive and violent. At DOCSMART, we allow the doctors and service providers to Red Flag such a person which is seen across the system by other service providers (after approval from the DOCSMART Admin). This shall act as a deterrent for patients from being abusive. Often patients do not pay the legitimate charges of the doctors and service providers, for this Black flagging is a mechanism where the balance payable of the patient is seen as a percentage ( if above 20 percent) to all the service providers.”
DOCSMART integrates all verticals of health on its platform and even helps insurance customers to avail service providers across the country. The customers can know in which hospital they can avail cashless facility for their admission. DOCSMART created the first cashless insurance system for OPD (Outpatient Department) where a customer can avail cashless facility with all verticals of health such as Doctors, Pharmacies, Diagnostic tests, Ambulances, and more.

On-demand medicine delivery apps have become a need of the hour. With hectic schedules and instant service demand, having an on-demand pharmacy by your side 24/7 seems a good idea. The comfort people experience, more sales, and fast delivery must be enough motivation for every pharmaceutical company to initiate an on-demand medicine delivery app development process. Further, new diseases and the need for emergency medical services at odd hours have encouraged the healthcare industry to come up with a solution. That is an on-demand medicine delivery app.
The document discusses how innovative mHealth apps are transforming patient care by providing new digital ways of delivering healthcare outside of traditional physician and hospital settings. It provides examples of apps that help manage conditions like diabetes and vision problems, test blood levels, track sleep, and diagnose diseases remotely. The document argues that while mHealth apps offer convenience and personalized care, they require expertise to develop into commercial-grade products that patients will actually use. It predicts the mHealth market will reach $26 billion by 2017 as mobile technology disrupts healthcare.

The document compares ComponentKit and React Native for building native iOS apps. It discusses that ComponentKit uses a declarative approach like React.js but only supports iOS, while React Native uses JavaScript to build apps for iOS, Android and the web using a native UI bridge. The document considers pros and cons of both, ultimately concluding that React Native's ability to build cross-platform using JavaScript may make it preferable for many developers due to its broader reach despite some tradeoffs in performance for complex native tasks.
The document provides guidance on conducting user research and understanding target audiences. It advises that people will often simplify or misinterpret others' motivations and problems. Researchers should directly observe users through methods like field studies in order to understand needs, habits, and contexts rather than relying on users to articulate what they want. The document outlines steps for effective user research including identifying targets, writing a recruiting plan, conducting open-ended interviews with 90% listening and 10% talking, and focusing on gathering insights rather than selling or testing ideas.
This document outlines steps for conducting research including mixing various sources of information, using appropriate tools for organizing notes taken from those sources, and analyzing and reporting on what was learned from the research process.

We’re talking about Vedic Meditation, a form of meditation that has been around for at least 5,000 years. Back then, the people who lived in the Indus Valley, now known as India and Pakistan, practised meditation as a fundamental part of daily life. This knowledge that has given us yoga and Ayurveda, was known as Veda, hence the name Vedic. And though there are some written records, the practice has been passed down verbally from generation to generation.
