This document provides prompts to help identify key assumptions about a business or product in order to guide customer discovery and testing. It asks the user to consider assumptions about their target customer, the problem the customer wants to solve, how the product or service solves it, obstacles preventing an existing solution, desired outcomes, customer acquisition tactics, early adopters, revenue sources, primary competition, points of differentiation, financial risks, technical risks, and assumptions that could cause the business to fail if proven wrong. The purpose is to surface the most important assumptions to validate through customer interviews and experiments.
