Fes, including the famed Chouara tannery, which can be
found in the center of the medina. Moroccan leather is
usually made from goat, cow, and camel and ranges in
quality. Shoppers can find a variety of bags, wallets, shoes,
and soft furnishings made from dyed and natural leathers.
Argan Products--Argan trees grow abundantly in Southern
Morocco, and products containing argan oil are sold
throughout the country, including specialty pharmacies and
shops in Fes. Argan oil can be sold for cooking or for
cosmetic use.
Rugs--Morocco is well-known for its traditional Berber rugs.
