A 74-year-old patient with missing teeth and a removable partial denture for 10 years wanted a fixed prosthesis. Clinical examination found root caries on teeth 11, 12, 13, 23, and 25 and existing bridges on teeth 32-43 and 44-47. The treatment plan was to place 4 implants in the upper arch and 2 in the lower arch, followed by fixed prostheses. Temporary bridges were placed. On the day of surgery, extractions and implant placements were done. After 3 months, the implants were loaded with final prostheses.

1. Implant case presentation
 A patient age 74years with missing teeth
reported to the clinic. He was using
removable partial denture for 10 yrs. But now
he wanted fix prosthesis.

2. On Clinical examination,
 11,12,13,23,25 with root caries were present
 32,33,34,37,43 were present.
 Lower anterior acrylic bridge extending from 32
to 43 & gold bridge with acrylic facing extending
from 44 to 47 were present.

3. Treatment planning
Patient was given different treatment options.
Finally it was decided to place 4 implants in upper
arch followed by fixed prosthesis and 2 implants in
lower arch followed by implant supported lower
denture.
Pre-operative impressions of upper & lower
arches were made. Temporary bridges, upper
extending from 13 to 25 &lower extending from 32
to 43 were made before the surgery .

4. On the day of the surgery,
 Pulp extirpation of 13,11,23 & 25 was done.
 Bridge preparation for 13,11,23 & 25 was done.
This was followed by trial of upper temporary
bridge.
Pulp extirpation of 32 & 43 was done .

5.  Bridge preparation for 32 & 43 was done.
 Trial of lower temporary bridge was done,
 After temporary bridge trial, extraction of 12 and 33
was done .
 Implants were place in16,12,24,26,33 & 44 region.
 Temporary upper & lower bridges were cemented.

6. After 3months the implants were loaded.
