Profiles is possibly the most powerful and easy to customise feature within Connections, yet is often left in a vanilla state with irrelevent fields, poor choice of results shown, inaccurate data and limited social features. Instead, it should be the first place a Connections project team look to improve - after all every user has a profile, and every piece of content will reference the profile of the user that created it. So let's make it as strong as it can be - add attributes, fine-tune search results, add relevant data from other applications, embed social media content and so on. Pull up a chair, grab your notebook and prepare to hear how Profiles can be exploited for the good of all...
