2. TERM 3 – Week 4 onwards
1) Assign prefects on duty for each
To shorten the queue at the canteen,in
stall to assist in the serving of
front of each food stall, so as to reduce
waiting time and frustration. food.
2) Assign school attendants to assist
the stall vendors to serve food /
collect money.
3) Draw queue lines to have 3 rows
instead of the current single
queue.
The final solution was create 2 rows in front of each stall, which shortened the
snake like queue . Waiting time was considerably reduced at each stall. The vendor
too adjusted to serving pupils ( 2 pupils each time instead of the usual 1 pupil at one
time ) in a lateral manner, ie : pupil on the left and pupil on the right….
Logically, all pupils who queued up for their food at each canteen stall would have
definitely benefited from this initiative.
