Satisfaction with Arlington County’s Transportation System Is High
How satisfied you are with the transportation  system  in Arlington County?  “Transportation system” means “all services and options that make it possible to travel in Arlington County, as well as the  quality  of those services.”  This would include such things as bus and train service, roads, support services for bicycling, walking, carpooling, and so forth.”  Overall, how satisfied are you with the County’s transportation system? Please use a scale of 1-5 where “1” means that you are “not at all satisfied” and “5” means that you would be “very satisfied.” Satisfaction with Arlington County’s Transportation System

Residents See Arlington County as a Place to Live and a Place for Young Professionals   Car-Free Living, While High, Is in the Bottom Half of “Place Qualities” QG12: Next, I am going to read you a list of qualities that some people might use to rate a community. Those Living in the R/B Corridor and Those Living Near a Metro Stop Are the Most Likely to Use Alternative Modes QG54C: What type of transportation do you typically use to get to work? Transportation Plays a Major Role in the Decision to Move to Arlington County QG13A: Please rate the following aspects on how important each was to your  initial decision  to locate in Arlington County.  Weighted Data 783 respondents were asked this question because they said “I made the decision to move to AC by myself or with others.”  n = various Does not include those who said “don’t know.” Those who work outside of Arlington County are more likely to say that the proximity to D.C. and transportation support services were reasons for moving to Arlington.
Those in the R/B and J/D Corridors Are the Most Likely to Have Moved to Arlington Because of Public Transportation and Car-Free Living Weighted Data QG13A: Please rate the following aspects on how important each was to your  initial decision  to locate in Arlington County.  Only those who said “I made the decision to move to AC by myself or with others” were asked this question.
