Tunisia, and attracts visitors

the peak of the summer, on july
12th to be precise .It is one of
the most significant festivals in
the country and while the

important festivals, the
International Festival of
Carthage is housed in the
antique theater of Carthage
restored in the early twentieth
century and has a capacity of
7,500 spectators.

7. The municipal theater in the
heart of Tunis is the main
venue of this festival, which is
held in the Tunisian capital
during the Muslim holy month
of Ramadan, which can fall at
any time of the year. In
addition to the usual array of
religious ceremonies, this
festival also features
international films and
musical performances.
