If you want to have the kind of a
church Like the kind of a church you
like,
You needn’t start on a long, long hike.
You’ll only find what you left behind,
For there’s nothing that’s really new.
It’s a knock at yourself when you
knock your church. For it isn’t your
church–it’s you!
Real churches are made, not by people
afraid, lest someone else gets ahead.
When everyone works and nobody
shirks, You can raise a church from
the dead!

A persuasive, willing, voluntary and co-operative spirit and the whole
purpose is directed to the glory of God.
'rise up‘:
Shows an unstoppable resolve to overcome every hindrance that might
still stand in one's way.
'and build‘
Is the exact opposite of destruction and tearing down. Demonstrate a
positive, constructive and edifying process that attaches great value and
worth that the proposed project embodies

• We have different gifts, according to the grace

that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly
and dignified in every way.

9. Barriers of Perspective
Resentment and bitterness can
become the greatest barrier to
involvement and it’s just at a
physical level, but at an
emotional level. You may be here
physically, but emotionally you
checked out.
It didn’t just hurt the person
your angry at. It hurts yourself
and the rest of the congregation.
