2. What is Communication Skill?
 According to Wikipedia, communication is the activity
of conveying information through the exchange of
ideas, feelings, intentions, attitudes, expectations,
perceptions or commands, as by speech, non-verbal
gestures, writings, behavior and possibly by other
means such as electromagnetic, chemical or physical
phenomena and smell. It is the meaningful exchange of
information between two or more participants
(machines, organisms or their parts).
 Communication requires a sender, a message, a
medium and a recipient.
 Communicating with others involves three primary
steps:
o Thought
o Encoding
o Decoding

important than technical
knowledge.
 Problem solving,
accomplishing a task needs
team works and hence
communication skill is
needed.
 Get to the root cause of

 Good communication helps

better information.
 If someone is unable to
communicate well, it does not
matter how professional he is
or how skilled he is.

definition of information.
 It can captures more attention.
 It makes information flow flexible
to the audience.
 It makes communication not only
informatics but also entertaining.

on the figure rather than reading the detail:
