12. Select Lotus Notes Add-on

13. Select email and Collaboration

14. Select Symphony

15. Unpack (and rename)

16. Install – start VMWare desktop

17. Vmware start view

18. File – New – Virtual machine

20. Change name to LotusFoundations

21. T60 (my machine) – 2 cores

22. Set to 2Gb (my machine has 3Gb)
Foundations will run on a LOT less

25. Create New Virtual Disk

26. Create SCSI Disks

27. Set Disk size to 12GB
Split disk into 2Gb chunks

28. Change File (Disk) name

31. Select “Edit virtual Machine
Settings”

32. Edit Virtual Machine

33. Click Add

34. Select Hard disk

35. Create a vitual disk

36. Select SCSI

37. Split disk into 2Gb files (easier to
manage the vm images)

38. Rename to disk2.vmdk

39. Two disks, disk1 install, disk2 =
backup

40. Select CD-ROM

41. Use ISO image you
downloaded

42. Navigate to Foundation ISO Image

43. Click on OK

44. Select “Start:

45. Vmware starts

46. Press 1, then enter

• Servername: earthquake7.weavernet.null
• Webconfig: https://9.191.3.79:8043
• (this is for my installation, your IP address
will be different)
• DHCP: disabled

53. Type in Webconfig URL and it (may) fails.
Add an exception (blue text) – Get certificate –
Confirm Security Exception

activation key) – save changes
