2. Saleh عليه السلام صالح And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. And We gave them Our Signs, but they were averse to them. And they used to hew out dwellings from the mountains (feeling themselves) secure. الحجر

3. Al-Hijr

28. So stand firm and straight (on the path of Islam) as you are commanded and those (your companions) who turn in repentance (unto Allah) with you, and transgress not (Allah's Limits). Verily, He is All-Seer of what you do. And incline not toward those who do wrong , lest the Fire should touch you, and you have no protectors other than Allah, nor you would then be helped. And perform As-Salat , at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (i.e. small sins). That is a reminder (an advice) for the mindful (those who accept advice). And be patient ; verily, Allah wastes not the reward of the good-doers. هود
