 Identifying with a particular organization and its
 goals, and wishing to maintain membership in the
 organization.
# It essentially reflects the extent to which an
individual likes the job.
# It is an affective or emotional response toward
various facets of a job
 The degree to which a person identifies with their
 jobs, actively participates in it and consider their
 performance important to self worth.
 The degree to which an employee identifies with
  a particular organization and its goals, and
  wishes to maintain membership in the
  organization.
 High organizational commitment: Identifying with
  one’s organization.
 Recent  research indicates that attitudes (A)
 significantly predict behaviors (B) when
 moderating variables are taken into account.
