Today class, we will explore
the world of Creative Arts!!
In the depths of the deep, blue sea, Miss Finn and
her class are exploring the fun and creative world
of The Arts.

Fish love to surf the waves, but
today I am going to surf the web to
learn about the arts. You can learn
too, just click on the button and we
can begin our journey with visual
arts at the National Gallery of
Australia.
3. So much exciting Art!! If
you click on each picture,
we can explore the
exhibitions.
On Guppy’s Art Adventure, she explored
several exciting Art exhibitions at the
National Gallery of Australia.

Wow Squiggly, there is even a
Children’s gallery where we can
explore drawings, digital art, which
is art done using digital technology
and even art done by tadpoles like
us!!
5. On their art adventure of the National Gallery of
Australia, Guppy and Malawi discover the ‘Lost in
Space’ exhibition.
6. Wow, this exhibition is so much
fun!! I can look at cool comics,
learn about the artwork and write
my own story! You can too...click
on the comic picture and I’ll show
you.

Painting and drawing is lots of fun Guppy, but my
favourite thing is drama and dancing!! Click on
the button and you can explore the site too!!
Miss Finn’s students loved the National Gallery of
Australia, but it was time to move on and discover
music, dancing and drama at the ‘Australia Screen
Online’ site.
8. Axol is right, Drama and Dancing are great

about music? She decided to explore and see what she could
find at the Global Music Archive.

11. It has been a great
lesson exploring The
Arts, can you tell me
what part was your
favourite?
I loved listening and
learning about the
music of Africa!
I liked the Space Invaders
exhibition and looking at the
comics.
My favourite part was
watching the videos
and learning about
dance and drama.
At the end of the lesson, Miss Finn’s class reflected on
what they had seen and learnt through their art
exploration.
