› Write down goals in goal planning sheet
 List action steps and benefits
 List obstacles and solutions
› Look back and measure the success every week, and then
prepare the next 7 day goal
› Include one personal and career goal
› Start the day with task planning, check if action items
connected your 7 day goal are part of your daily activity
 Remember to make this a practice every day

Always have access to goal planning sheet and diary with
daily task list – please keep it on your desk or where you won‟t
miss it on any day.
 Success depends on following a life-long practice of goal
setting – a progressive realization of pre-determined goals

Reduce calls, use it only in emergency or
unavoidable circumstances
 Interrupt others in your team lesser
 Measure how you are spending time


› Note down all types of tasks happened

during the day, including task interruptions
and meetings
› Learn from it, and tune your work habits








Remind yourself periodically on the need to
focus on the goal; Use a tool like Mobile
Calendar to alert you on this
Create slots for checking email/chat/calls, say
every 2hrs
Remove reminders of unfinished tasks away
from your sight. Keep an email/SMS reminder,
so Tool will remember to remind you, freeing
your memory!
Organize your Inbox, take action on emails
when you see it and move it from Inbox
Avoid reading same email again and again,
through the day


