Kayla Smell The First Seven Days
The First Seven Days The first book of the Torah and the first sedrah take their name from the first Hebrew word in the first sentence of the book. (Bereshit) meaning, “In the beginning”. A very long time ago there was no heaven, earth, darkness, or light.
First HaShem said, "Let there be light," and it was light. HaShem called the darkness night and the light day. On the second day, HaShem said, "let there be sky" and there was sky. On the third day, HaShem created the dry land, which he called earth and the waters that he called seas. There were grass and trees and plants of all kinds on the land. On the fourth day, HaShem added to the sky the sun and the stars so that there would always be some light. The First Seven Days
The First Seven Days On the fifth day, HaShem created the fish in the waters and the birds for the sky. On the sixth day, HaShem created the animals and then he created man. By the seventh day, HaShem was tired and rested, he blessed the seventh day and made it a day that all living things should rest. This was the first Sabbath!
			Emily Patella Adam and Eve
Adam and Eve Adam was created on the 6th day “And the Lord FORMED MAN of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.” (Genesis 2:7) God sees that it isn’t good for Adam to remain alone so he creates the first woman “And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from the man HE MADE INTO A WOMAN, and He brought her to the man.” (Genesis 2:21) Her name was Eve
Adam and Eve God places them in the Garden of Eden, giving them everything but He tells them there is one thing they cannot do and that is eat from a tree in the garden and that tree is known as, “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” In order to pass the test, all they had to do was not eat from that tree. God allowed one other thing to occur..Satan was allowed to roam the garden in the form of a serpent, knowing that Satan would try and tempt them to disobey His direct command to them not to eat any fruit off of this one forbidden tree.
Adam and Eve Banishment from the Garden of Eden “… therefore the Lord sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken.” (Genesis 3:23) “So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.” (Genesis 3:24) The Earth is now cursed In addition to banishing both of them out of this garden, God now pronounces a curse on them, their descendants, and on the earth in general. “CURSED is the ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life … in the sweat of your face you shall eat bread.” (Genesis 3:17-19)
Adam and Eve The story of Adam and Eve sets the stage for the greatest story that will ever be told – the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to our earth in the flesh to save us and deliver us from our sins and our lost condition that arose out of the story of Adam and Eve.
Noah and the Ark Sarah Summers
Noah and the Ark Starting in Genesis 6:6, God became angry with the amount of anger and violence that plagued the Earth, so he decided to create a flood to destroy evil. Only Noah, his three sons, and their four wives were to be saved by constructing an ark.
Noah and the Ark When Noah told the people that God was planning a flood, the people laughed at him and used violent language toward him. In hopes that people would repent, he constructed the ark over a time span of 52 years.
Noah and the Ark On the 600th year of Noah’s life, his family and the animals boarded the ark. Seven days after boarding, the heavens spilled the fountains. For forty days and forty nights, the rain fell. Everything that remained on the Earth, except for what was on the ark, perished from existence.

Jethro is the priest of Midian and Moses father-in-law.
On the journey of leading the flock an angel appeared in the flames of a burning bush. Moses did not understand why the bush was on fire but not burning, so he went over to it. As he did God called out to him.
God told Moses to take off his sandals because he was standing on holy ground. He proclaimed to be the God of Moses’ father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. – Moses hid his face because he was scared to look at God.
God told Moses he had heard his people crying in Egypt because of their slave drivers, he told Moses, “So now go, I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt”.
God said he would stretch out his hand and strike the Egyptians with all the wonders that he would perform among them, so the King would let them go on a three day journey to the desert.,[object Object]
