2. Stayner Bucket Hat Challenge
Nothing says pride like the Spartan Bucket Hat.
Unfortunately, this fine headgear is no longer available for purchase…
BUT- you can still earn the Bucket in true Spartan style.
Each week throughout the term (Nov-Jan), Guidance will be posting a new
set of challenges. The challenges relate to things that exemplify the true
Spartan character: school pride, helping others, hard work, determination,
achieving excellence, etc.
As you complete the challenge, you earn points. If you can earn 50 points
before the end of the term, the Spartan Bucket is yours!
Check out the Bucket Board in the Guidance Office for this week’s
challenges!

8. Medical School Info Session for Students
• University of Toronto Family Medicine and RVH are partnering with
Simcoe County school boards to present “What to Expect at Medical
School.” If you or a family member are interested in a future career in
medicine, then please join us at Bear Creek Secondary School on
Tuesday, November 27th at 6 p.m. Tests, finances, schedules and more
will be discussed first-hand by residents, current med students and
the teaching unit of U of T Family Medicine. See guidance to sign up!

Interested in touring a local university and attending mock lectures with university
professors?
This is a great chance to get a firsthand look at what university academics might be
like.
Lakehead University is welcoming grade 12 students to their campus on Tuesday
December 4th.
