Stenio Fernandes is currently a Professor of Computer Science at the Center for Informatics (CIn), Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), in Recife (Brazil). UFPE/CIn is one of the largest (80+ PhD Professors) and most prestigious Computer Science Center in Latin America. He also collaborate in research with professors at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), University of Ottawa, in Ottawa, Canada. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE. He received his B.S. and M.Sc. degrees in Electronic Engineering from the Federal University of Paraiba (Campina Grande, Brazil).
