1. Your Questions About Stock Market Today
Mary asks…
Will the stock market rally today and tomorrow?
Will the Fed announce only a .25 raise in interest rates or go with the more aggressive .50 rise?
As a result will the stock market rally today and tomorrow?
Steve Winston answers:
It has a surprise modest rally today.
Who knows what tomorrow holds.
Silver and Gold are rising today also.
The Economy is rising at a 5.6% pace.
Higher than previously thought.

2. William asks…
What strategy would you take to make money in the stock market
today?
This is assuming the current state of the economy. You have between now and May 1 to invest
a sum of money. What companies would you invest in and why? What sectors? Money must be
invested in stocks with the primary goal in capital gain.
Steve Winston answers:
I'm investing in 1 long shot for gain only, not long term hold.
It's a pink sheet stock. (Risky)
Symbol: CCTC $23.25 per share at the close today.
I purchased on 12-20-07 at $18.50 per share.
Up $4.75 per share in less than 1 month.
It's a company that can make coal 85% clean burning.
It's been awarded a large contract in China recently.
Nothing in the US for the company though.
Peabody Coal Compnay in the US is working on this technology but so far I believe they make
coal only 45% clean burning.
I figure that any company that has a process to reduce coal emmissions in the air by 85% is
worth a shot. Many people do not realize how much coal is used to provide energy for us.
It's a gamble I'm comfortable in taking.

3. George asks…
How much money did you lose on the stock market today?
I lost a little over eleven thousand dollars. All my stocks dropped except for some reason my
renewable energy ones, but only by a few cents
Steve Winston answers:
Unless you sold some stock at a loss today, you haven't lost any money. The market in general
is still up a tad over last week's low, tho it is down considerably from its 13000+ high. The loss is
only on paper and doesn't become real unless you sell something. Basic investing.

4. Carol asks…
How many of you are taking a beating in the stock market today?
And how many of you think Obama is to blame for this economy?
Steve Winston answers:
I pulled out most of the money just before it took a dive. You haven't seen the last of the yo-yo
stock market until we have a bit of stability with corporations, America, and the rest of the world.
Obama is only party to blame and people should not use him as a scapegoat.

5. How much did you gain back in the stock market today?
So far without counting mutual funds I have gained back a little over 2% on my stocks.
thats what I mean....paper gains.
yeah, I did a little buying and day trading today myself. I love volatility sometimes
Steve Winston answers:
I gained back about 1/3 of my loss. But today was a great buying opportunity that was too good
to pass up. Was able to pick up a number of winners. Will have to see if I was correct.
Michael asks…
Is Obama as good as gone after he crashed the stock market
today?

6. In a desperation attempt, he lowered the price of oil to $83.00 but that did not help.
This situation is almost as bad as the Community Reinvestment Act which Mandated that banks
purchase Credit Default Swaps to leverage themselves until their bets totalled more than all the
money in existence.
Alan Greenspan tried to stop this madness but Barney Frank threatened to release some
photos he had of Alan if he did.
Is this the end for Obama?
Steve Winston answers:
The President doesn't set the price of oil.
The market will be fully recovered in a week. Right now the hedge funds are buying in after
hours trading.
The stock market is irrelevant anyway. If you don't have at least a million dollars to invest in a
hedge fund, it is stupid to put any money in the market. The hedge funds game the system and
just extract wealth from the small time investors who can only afford regular mutual funds.

7. Why did the republicans decide to crash the stock market today?
Was it because Nancy Pelosi hurt their feelings and they could not put the partisanship aside for
the good of the country?
Steve Winston answers:
You better bet it was
.
And I have listen to her proclamation 12 times and say to my self
.
She should of been a carpenter
She can use that hammer baby
.
Hitting that nail on the head with each sentence
