This is a risk assessment document I created so that I can identify the risks we may over come when filming for a movie trailer and suggested ways of how to overcome or reduce the risks.
1. Identified Risk
(high , medium, low)
Injuries from props E.g. cuts
and bruises (high)
Number of people involved
Likelihood of risk. How to
minimise risk.
To minimise risk of cuts and
bruises we will not contact each
other with the props, instead
only imply the contact through
editing. Also keep a first aid kit
at hand.
Ensure that all the actors are
dressed appropriately E.g. warm
clothing and waterproof layers.
Make sure the camera is
covered and not exposed to
weather.
Ensure that all wires and objects
are out of the way of the acting
space. I can do this by taping
the wires down to the floor to
prevent people tripping over
them.
To reduce stress we can ensure
that all the deadlines are met
and planned out efficiently.
Minimum 2. Brad, David and
‘zombie’ actor.
Un predictable weather
(medium)
2-4 people. Brad, David and the
zombie actors.
Falling and tripping over
objects (medium)
All people that are involved in
filming.
Stress from deadlines and
expectations. (minimal)
2 people. Brad and David
Batteries in the camera running
out. (high)
1 person. Can affect the whole
project.
To ensure that we do not lose
the opportunity to film where
we want to we will need to take
spare batteries and change
them if needed.
Not being able to get
permission to film on some
lands (medium)
The people that will be in the
specific shot.
To make sure that we do not
get into trouble from recording
on private land we will ask the
land owner first. Also take into
consideration alternative
locations.
