Ergo – hard to get noticed!]_______________________________________________________________ The project is to provide an evidence-based framework of effective professional and executive staff leadership capabilities and competencies in different roles. It causes extreme spherical and chromatic aberration outside the central focal point, with oval bokeh produced that points inwards to the focal point]_______________________________________________________________MethodologyReplicating the methodologiesof Scott, Coates & Anderson (2008) in their definitive work “Learning Leaders in times of change”Phase 1—Online Survey (quantitative and qualitative survey) - so far invited 711 participants, and received 111 responses.Phase 2—Analysis of survey (UWS are warehousing the data-management and will do the first cut of data analysis)Phase 3—Workshops in Australia and New Zealand Phase 4—Review of draft report by respondents and steering committee (and possibly international peers in UK and Canada)_______________________________________________________________The results will help to ensure that the selection and development of current and future tertiary education professional leaders focuses on what really counts for effective performance in their role.The Learning Leaders study drew conclusions that radically reconceptualised leadership development at tertiary institutions. We will see how the outcomes of this project compare and we will ask you for your feedback in a set of ATEM sponsored fora.
