Your organization has had some good success securing the infrastructure and to date there
has not been any significant breaches and no evidence of lost data. Occasionally some
malware has made its way to a user device or a virus has infected a node but none of the
servers or significant infrastructure had been affected. Management is pleased with the
success but is asking about independent audits and penetration tests. They are concerned
about being in compliance or having a vulnerability that has gone unnoticed to this point
that should be addressed. There are significant trust issues with working with outside
teams as much of the work to this point had been done in house. In addition the cost is
significant and would impact the overall IT budget.Create a PowerPoint presentation of at
least 10 slides outlining the situation and how they should proceed. As management will be
very sceptical about your recommendation be sure to strongly support your position. Be
sure to address their concerns.In your response to the other posts be sure to critique the
other presentations. What seems to be missing or incomplete? What was covered well? Are
there any points that may be technically inaccurate? Be thorough in your analysis.
