5. The first thing
Andrew did was to
find his brother
Simon and tell
him,
"We have found
the Messiah" (that
is, the Christ).
And he brought
him to Jesus.

7. Philip found Nathanael and
told him, "We
have found the one Moses
wrote about
in the Law, and about whom
the prophets
also wrote-"Jesus of
Nazareth, the son of
Joseph."
"Nazareth! Can anything
good
come from
there?" Nathanael asked."

11. Many of the Samaritans
from that town believed
in him because of the
woman’s
testimony, "He told me
everything I ever
did.” So when the
Samaritans came to him,
they urged him to stay
with them, and he
stayed two days. And
because of his
words many more
became believers.

longer believe
just because of
what you said; now
we have
heard for ourselves,
and we know that
this
man really is the
Savior of the world."

returned at once to
Jerusalem. There
they found the
Eleven and those
with them,

Lord has risen and
has appeared
to Simon.”
